Profile
A Holy Beast type Digimon in the form of a tapir. He was the result of data from a medical sleep research computer program. It lives by eating the dreams of other Digimon. Bad dreams are its favorite food so it eats the dreams of Digimon which have had nightmares. It also eats computer viruses and changes them into normal data. The Holy Ring on its forefoot is proof of its holy power.
夢を食べる幻獣として知られる、「バク」の姿をした聖獣型デジモン。脳波を調べるために作られた医学用コンピュータから発生したデジモンと見られており、人間のレム睡眠状態のデータを栄養としているらしい。また、最近の研究によって、特に悪夢や悪質なウイルスを消去する力を持っていることが判明している。さらに、取り込んだ悪夢やウイルスを正常なものに変換する能力も持っており、聖なるデジモンであると考えられている。前足に付けているホーリーリングもバクモンの神聖さを理由づける根きょのひとつで、これは聖なるデジモンに共通のアイテムとなっている。 必殺技は悪夢を一気に放出する『ナイトメアシンドローム』。

Digimon Tamers
A Bakumon was among the shadowed Digimon that wanted Ruki to tame one of them. Another one was followed by Shaochung, who wanted to ask where Terriermon was upon her arrival in the Digital World.
Digimon Frontier
Corrupted by the evil of Cherubimon and losing his Holy Ring in the process, Bakumon attacked the Chosen Children in his own way, by using his Nightmare Syndrome attack on Tomoki in the Forest of Televisions. Agnimon flushed out the lurking Bakumon, who tried to manipulate his mind as well but Agnimon was able to overpower him and restore him to normal.

Bakumon evolves into Unimon with 0-2 DP, Shima Unimon with 3-5 DP, Garurumon with 6-7 DP and Hanumon with 8+ DP.
Digimon Story
Can be found at Sky Palace or Training Peak later on in the game. He can evolve to Unimon if above level 30. He also give you a request mission to obtain the Sleepy Pillow at Data Forest.
Digimon Story: Sunburst & Moonlight
Can evolve from Gumimon if above level 16 and Holy EXP above 470, or can be found at Thriller Ruins. Can evolve to Unimon if above level 22 and speed 90, or Shiisamon if above level 24, defense 120, and Holy EXP 800.
Digimon Championship
Bakumon is an obtainable Digimon. Can be evolved from Tokomon if you win 3 battles.
