Dark Warp Evolution

Is "Dark Warp Evolution"/"Dark Warp Digivolution" an actual term or is it just made-up? --Ainz ^{( talk | contribs )} 10:16, 11 August 2020 (CDT)

it doesnt exist and is a fan made term. in regards to nyaromon's evolution to falldown mode the toei website shows nyaro through to angewomon and then falldown mode which implies that during that orb thing, it actually went through each of its evos one by one with the actual evo being angewomon to falldown mode.Muur (talk) 22:01, 11 August 2020 (CDT)

Digivolving in Japan

Should it be mentioned anywhere that the term "Digivolve" does make numerous appearances in Japanese media? The instances of it in Digimon Seekers are already brought up, but off the top of my head, there's also the Digivolving Spirits toy line, Digimon Battle Chronicle, and more recently, Digimon Story: Time Stranger (though for the latter, Digivolution デジヴォリューション Dejivoryuushon was used specifically to refer to Aegiomon's evolution command).--Yamato-san (talk) 13:42, 1 January 2026 (CST)

imgur is banned in the UK, so I can't see it. Anyway if it's in the tutorial and only there, it's one of the things scrapped and then forgotten to remove over the 8 years of development. in the actual screen itself when you can do it yourself, it's not there. interesting if that's what it shows tho (if only I could see)Muur (talk) 18:29, 3 January 2026 (CST)

It's basically アイギオモン：デジヴォリューション and アイギオモンのバトルコマンドに“デジヴォリューション（進化）”が追加されました。, to me it doesn't give the impression of scrapped content, rather that デジヴォリューション and 進化 are interchangeable terms in Aegiomon's context and the easier to read 進化 is chosen for the battle command (after all Digivolution is already written there in English even in JP version). --Garmmon (talk) 19:52, 3 January 2026 (CST)
