L&R Wars

The L&R Wars (LとRの戦, L to R no Sen) is a conflict and the main plot line of Digimon Twin and Battle Terminal 02. During the battle against the Digimon infected by the crack program Tempest, including the Four Holy Beasts, all the Tamers involved were divided into two factions: Liberation, consisting of Beast-type Digimon specialized in speed, and Revolution, comprised of Dragon-type Digimon specialized in power, that at some point came into a conflict for the supremacy of the fight.

In this showdown, two Ultimates fought an infected Qinglongmon from the Four Holy Beasts: Dukemon from the Royal Knights and Metal Garurumon. Both fought uncooperatively and were defeated without harming Qinglongmon. The Digimon and their Tamers who were in a dilemma decided to collaborate and finally defeated the enemy, but their Digimon died. Then Qinglongmon, who regained his sanity, before going to rest, delivered a special program for the two Digimon that modified their data, creating two Digitama never seen before from which eventually Victory Greymon and Z'd Garurumon would hatch.

It was Commander Yuu who put an end to this clash by unifying the two armies as one and organizing friendly battles so that they can grow as united Tamers. As a consequence of the latter, the Dark Area itself manifested into the center of the Digital World, leading into an infected Huanglongmon and Ogudomon to be released that were finally defeated by Examon and all the Tamers United.
