Profile[edit]
Digi (デジ, Deji) is a hot-blooded fourth-grade elementary school student who loves Digimon. He is Mon's older brother, and the two aim to become Digimon Kings together. Digi looks up to the Coach, a fifth-grade student and Digimon expert whom he seeks to surpass.[1]
Digi is enthusiastic and ambitious, although his inexperience initially causes him to make mistakes when operating his Digital Monster and raising his Digimon. Rather than merely raising a conventionally strong Digimon, he experiments with unusual and amusing training methods. Despite this unorthodox approach, he succeeds in raising an Airdramon, a Digimon that is particularly difficult to obtain on the original device.
Like the other characters created for Digital Monster: I'll Become the Digimon King!, Digi was illustrated by Yabuno Tenya.
Description[edit]
Digi has spiky red hair and wears a white shirt with red sleeves and a dark collar. He carries his Digital Monster on a cord and is frequently depicted holding it aloft.
Appearances[edit]
Manga[edit]
Go! Go!! Digimon[edit]
Digi and Mon receive and activate their Digital Monsters, but are initially unable to hatch their Digitamas. The Coach appears and teaches them the devices' basic operations. Once Digi's Botamon hatches, Digi feeds it without restraint until the Coach intervenes and explains the correct way to raise a Digimon.[1]
Digi's partner eventually evolves into Airdramon. He is defeated by Mon in one of their battles. Digi later pits Airdramon against the Coach's Greymon. Airdramon defeats Greymon and subsequently evolves into Metal Greymon.
