Profile

Mon (モン, Mon), also called Mon-chan (モンちゃん, Mon-chan), is a third-grade elementary school student and Digi's younger sister. She raises Digimon because she finds them cute and joins her brother in aiming to become a Digimon King. Mon is very fond of Digi and begins raising a Digimon alongside him.

Mon occasionally ends her sentences with "-da mon" (～だモン), a play on her name and the Japanese sentence-ending expression da mon. Despite being younger and primarily motivated by her affection for cute Digimon, she proves to be a capable Tamer and defeats Digi in a battle.

Like the other characters created for Digital Monster: I'll Become the Digimon King!, Mon was illustrated by Yabuno Tenya.

Description

Mon has blonde hair worn in two outward-curving pigtails tied with red ribbons. She wears a sailor-style top with a blue bow, a yellow skirt, white socks, and red shoes, and carries her Digital Monster at her waist.

Mon receives and activates a Digital Monster alongside Digi. When neither sibling is able to hatch their Digitama, the Coach arrives and teaches them the devices' basic operations.

Mon raises her Digimon until it evolves into Monzaemon. The species it assumes before reaching Monzaemon are not identified. She also defeats Digi in a battle, demonstrating that she is able to compete with her more openly enthusiastic older brother.
