Bastia Castle

Bastia Castle (バスティア城 Basutia-jō) is a castle in Lake Zone and the residence of its princess, Bastemon. It houses the Zone's Code Crown.

Description

Bastia Castle stands beside Lake Zone's large lake. It is defended by Knightmon and his Pawn Chessmons.

When Taiki and his companions arrive in Lake Zone, the Bagra Army is attacking Bastia Castle in search of its Code Crown. After rescuing Knightmon, Taiki meets Bastemon at the castle and joins its defenders against the forces led by Ice Devimon.

Lilithmon later uses the castle's mirror to manipulate Akari into taking the Code Crown outside and handing it over to her. Her attempt fails, and Xros Heart defeats the Bagra Army's forces in Lake Zone. Bastemon, Knightmon and the Pawn Chessmons subsequently join Xros Heart.
