The territory ruled over by Artiomon is a dog-eat-dog world dominated by Beast and Beast Man Digimon, forming an ecosystem where the weak are preyed upon by the strong. Conflict within the territory is the natural way of things, so Artiomon will not intervene, but whenever a situation arises where the biological balance is disrupted by foreign invaders, it will mercilessly eliminate those that stand in its way as guardian. There are times when individuals from within the territory who have survived intense competition evolve into a new Artiomon, and on such occasions, a succession ritual is performed by means of a one-on-one fight with the incumbent Artiomon lord. The winner reigns as lord, while the loser dies on the spot. The current lord is a fierce fighter that has survived six of these rituals, and it is said that a change in rulership is unlikely to occur any time soon. Its Special Move is "Doom Buster", which it performs by throwing its large spear, "Tír na nÓg". A gigantic crystal is mounted on the tip of Artiomon's large spear, and by channeling its fighting spirit into it to the utmost limit, it becomes electrified and generates heat, making it powerful enough to melt the opponent. Also, its "Decapitate Claw", a slash attack unleashed by channeling its fighting spirit into the four bear claws on its left hand, has the cutting power to easily slice the target into five pieces.
