Digimon Adventure[edit]
After being supposedly killed by Angewomon, Vamdemon absorbed massive amounts of data with the aid of his Night Raiders and at the hour of the beast, evolved to Venom Vamdemon. In order to defeat him, Yagami Taichi and Ishida Yamato were shot with arrows of Light and Hope from Angewomon and Angemon, allowing their partners to evolve into War Greymon and Metal Garurumon, who, alongside the power of the Chosen Children, were able to put an end to him.
Digimon Xros Wars: The Young Hunters Who Leapt Through Time[edit]
Manga[edit]
Digimon Adventure V-Tamer 01[edit]
Venom Vamdemon first appeared as part of the army Saiba Neo sent to attack Holy Angel Castle after Arkadimon evolved to Child level in "Neo Attacks!!!". He fought against Leo in "Leo's Rage", where Neo explained that Venom Vamdemon was Vamdemon's left-behind hatred, and as such, had lost his intelligence in exchange for power. While Leo had the advantage at first, he was caught in Venom Vamdemon's tentacles, which appeared from a wound that he left in Venom Vamdemon with his sword. Three Baby Digimon that lived in Holy Angel Castle: Mochimon, Punimon and Bubbmon; then tried to save Leo, only to get easily beaten by Venom Vamdemon, who then tried to kill them. However, this caused Leo to show his full power due to his desire to protect them, breaking free from the tentacles and preparing his ultimate attack, Reikikou Hazan, which scared Venom Vamdemon. Leo couldn't actually launch his attack, however, as he was attacked from the back by Arkadimon.
After Arkadimon absorbed Lord Holy Angemon's power, Neo ordered Venom Vamdemon to kill the Baby level Digimon. However, he was stopped by the newly-arrived Yagami Taichi and Zeromaru, who beheaded Venom Vamdemon in one clean punch. However, Venom Vamdemon survived, as his real head was a demonic one located on his crotch instead. After revealing himself, he attacked Zeromaru while taunting him, saying he'd meet the same fate as Leo, only to be destroyed in one punch.

After both matches, he is unaffected by his defeat, as he believes that darkness cannot be destroyed no matter how hard the player tries, and he must only wait for its next opportunity. However, after the player gets the packs for clearing the first Battle Arena, Venom Vamdemon starts repeating the exact same lines over and over, which is the first sign of Analogman hacking into the world.
