Usually, when two Digimon jogress, a new Digimon is born, with a single Digicore, but in Khaosmon's case, the Digicores of both Digimon were each retained, and so he is maintaining a very unstable state. Khaosmon is a code name for unique Digimon that, according to the "Central Dogma" of the Digital World, cannot be. It is believed that because of Khaosmon's extremely unstable existence, it has an exceedingly short lifespan, because the managing system of the Digital World runs a program that deletes all bugs. This particular Khaosmon was given birth by the jogress of Bantyo Liomon and Darkdramon, and this can be seen by the vestiges of those Digimon in Khaosmon's arms. In its special move Haou Ryoudan Ken, it uses its Bantyo Arm to send out the unrivalled "Bantyo Blade", and slices the enemy in half with a single decisive stroke, and in Dark Prominence, it uses the "Gigastic Cannon" in the Darkdra Arm to end all digital cells.

通常、ジョグレス時には、２体のデジモン同士のデジコアが完全に融合し、新たなデジモンに生まれ変わるが、カオスモンは、ジョグレス前のデジモンのデジコアをそれぞれ保持し、非常に不完全な状態でその姿を維持している。カオスモンとは、「存在し得ない」デジモンのコードネームであり、デジタルワールドの“ セントラルドグマ”（中心原理）では絶対にありえない特異（バグ）である。極めて不安定な存在のため、寿命が非常に短く、デジタルワールドの管理システムが放つバグを排除するプログラムが走るために寿命が短くなってしまうと推測される。このカオスモンはバンチョーレオモンとダークドラモンがジョグレスして生まれたものと見られており、両腕にそれぞれのデジモンの面影を見ることができる。必殺技は、「バンチョーアーム」に装備された「BAN－TYOブレイド」から繰り出される無敵の一刀両断『覇王両断剣』と「ダークドラアーム」に装備された「ギガスティックキャノン」から自身のデジタル細胞を打ち出す『ダークプロミネンス』
