Cherubimon (Virtue) is one of the Three Archangels. After feeling betrayed about Ofanimon and Seraphimon's decisions, Cherubimon became corrupted and became Cherubimon (Vice). Lucemon used Cherubimon with the intention of gathering all the Digicode in the Digital World in order to be resurrected, yet Cherubimon kept the data for himself, seeking to increase his own power. Eventually, Kaiser Greymon succeeded in killing Cherubimon, releasing the data which the fallen angel had previously absorbed. As such, Cherubimon was turned into a Digitama and his Digicode purified, later to be reborn as Lopmon.

Digimon Xros Wars: The Evil Death Generals and the Seven Kingdoms

In "Glorious DigiXros, Seize it! Our Future!!", Examon tells the story of when Bagramon, who was planning to take over the Digital World, learned of the Human World. In a flashback is shown his army, which comprised Cherubimon (Virtue) who was eventually corrupted and turned into Cherubimon (Vice).

Digimon Adventure:

Cherubimon (Virtue) was one of the Holy Digimon who led the forces of light against Millenniumon's Army in the past. After the war, he lost his memories and became Lopmon until War Greymon's evolution awakened his memories.

Cherubimon is the Partner Kemonogami of Kayama Shuuji. From Part 10 onwards in the Truth route, Momotsuka Takuma found Shuuji and Lopmon fighting a Gigadramon in the woods. Shuuji told Takuma to go back and get the rest, as they wouldn't be able to beat it alone. Seeing how they had no other way to win, Shuuji decided he'd take the Gigadramon down with him, and asked Lopmon to help him in the path he chose for himself, one fitting for his role as the leader, even if he knew it was selfish and self-righteous. His righteousness then allowed Lopmon to evolve into Cherubimon.

Cherubimon is also a playable Kemonogami which can be obtained as both a Partner and a Free Kemonogami. It's a Mobility-type, Moral (Vaccine)-attribute, Ultimate-level Kemonogami. Its unnamed Attack is Lightning Spear (200 power, 0 SP, deals Light damage to target) and its special attack is Heaven's Judgement (300 power, 60 SP, deals Light damage to target with a moderate chance of confusing them). Its Passive Skill is Angelic Entity (Raises damage dealt by Light attacks two ranks and raises strength of recovery effects two ranks. Prevents sealing). Cherubimon's evolutions differ depending on whether it is the Partner Cherubimon or a Free Cherubimon:

• Partner Cherubimon evolves from Andiramon. This evolution is obtained by clearing the aforementioned event.
• Free Cherubimon evolves from Andiramon and Holy Angemon.

Digimon Story: Time Stranger

The Saikyo KoGals can be fought again in the "Saikyo KoGals with Sensei" round of the "Greatest Omega Carnival" side mission, joined by their teacher, Cherubimon (Virtue). Lopmon found it unexpected but funny they'd meet again while Terriermon felt the heat and just wanted to leave. Cherubimon (Virtue) criticized them for wanting to leave since they had nothing to do until Friday anyways.

• Cherubimon (Virtue) can use normal attacks and Heaven's Judgement. It is weak to Earth and Dark, and resists Electricity and Light.
• Lopmon can use normal attacks and Blazing Ice. It is weak to Plant and Earth, and resists Ice and Wind.
• Terriermon is weak to Plant and Steel, and resists Fire and Wind.

Cherubimon (Virtue) is also an obtainable Digimon. It evolves from Ex-Tyranomon, Crescemon, or Andiramon (Deva).
