Edits[edit]

English[edit]

  • A scene where Ken discusses the e-mail that turned him into the Digimon Kaiser and its potential connection to Archnemon is rewritten in the dub to be an unrelated conversation with Izzy about stereotypical “nerdy” things.
  • For some reason, Shuu is made to be the same character as his brother Shin in the dub, despite their obvious facial and occupational differences.
  • Because Miyako’s catchphrase is different in the dub, the surprised face she makes after Sora’s father says “Bingo!” in the Japanese version is somewhat out of place in the dub.
  • Most of the Japanese mythology featured in this episode is watered down or simplified in the dub:
    • Tanuki are referred to as “raccoons”.
    • The four mythical beasts are not referred to by their directions in the dub, although their names and species are.
    • Miyako and Sora’s father both mention yōkai, which is simplified to “mythical creatures” in the dub.
  • In the dub, Poromon claims that Musyamon can change his appearance, which is not an ability that Musyamon has ever been shown to possess.
