⇨ Japanese A bizarre God Man Digimon with four arms. It is a being with godlike power that appears in folktales, passed down solely through oral tradition, within a certain school of swordsmanship in the Eastern Digital World. It is widely recognized that in ancient times, a Digimon—known as the "God of Destruction" in the Eastern Digital World—destroyed and recreated the world, but according to oral tradition, the God of Destruction had a trusted retainer, and it is said that Habakirimon was that retainer. Serving its master, Habakirimon is said to have been involved in the destruction of the world, making full use of its immense power. While it is a swordsman that freely wields its gigantic seven-branched sword, the "Futsushimitama-no-tsurugi", it also specializes in infighting that takes advantage of its four arms. As a Digimon, it possesses exceptional offensive power, but when fighting alongside its master, it seems capable of exhibiting combat abilities on par with its master, albeit temporarily, due to it having the blessing of the God of Destruction.
Its Special Move "Habakiri" is a slash attack unleashed by concentrating the aura surging from its entire body into the Futsushimitama-no-tsurugi, and is powerful enough to incinerate not only the target, but their surroundings as well. Also, the Futsushimitama-no-tsurugi can be split into seven blades, and the technique in which Habakirimon manipulates the seven blades through its thoughts and slashes from all directions is called "Aramasa".
It is told that Habakirimon's master, the God of Destruction, incorporated the name "Habakiri" into its Special Move as a reward for its loyalty, but it is unknown whether this is true or not. Although the God of Destruction, who recreated the world and lost their powers, disappeared somewhere, it is said that even to this day, Habakirimon continues to wait in its castle for its master's return.

As Habakirimon is named after a sword wielded by Susanoo-no-Mikoto in Japanese mythology, its design borrows several elements from Susanoomon, a pre-existing Digimon based on Susanoo-no-Mikoto. These include:
- the kanji 天 ten/ama ("heaven"), inscribed on the crossguard of Habakirimon's sword; the kanji, using its ama/ame pronunciation, is also part of the name of Habakirimon's namesake, the Ama-no-Habakiri / Ame-no-Habakiri (「天羽々斬」)
- the flame-shaped outer shoulder armor pieces (in Habakirimon's case, worn on its knees and recolored white)
- the large, spiked golden ring mounted on both Digimon's backs
- the inner shoulder armor pieces (originally blue; in Habakirimon's case, worn on the forearms of its second pair of arms and recolored white with red jewels)
Habakirimon's sword, the Futsushimitama-no-tsurugi, is modeled after the Seven-Branched Sword, a sword from Japanese antiquity that is distinguished by the branch-like protrusions from the edges of its blade. Its design also draws inspiration from the fictional Galient Sword and was originally intended to incorporate elements of the Taoist Seven-Star Sword, though the latter's characteristic stars were ultimately omitted during development due to production constraints.
According to Moriyama Soh, Habakirimon is meant to look like a divine general who protects Buddha (「神将」), and was meant to have a facial expression similar to a Tibetan sand fox since they were connected as being feline, only later noticing it was a wrong use of terms.
