Devimon's Mansion

From Wikimon

Devimon's Mansion is a mansion on File Island used by Devimon to lure the Chosen Children into a trap. Its welcoming appearance conceals a ruined building beneath an illusion.

Description[edit]

The mansion initially appears well maintained, with a painting of an angel, a dining room containing a feast, separate baths for boys and girls, and a bedroom with eight beds. Its apparent comforts are part of Devimon's deception.

Digimon Adventure[edit]

After escaping from Leomon and Orgemon, the exhausted Chosen Children and their partner Digimon discover the mansion. Despite some misgivings, they eat, bathe, and settle down to sleep.

During the night, Yagami Taichi accompanies Agumon to the bathroom, where Orgemon attacks them. They encounter Leomon and Devimon while fleeing. Devimon dispels the illusion, exposing the ruins, and reveals that the food and baths were also illusory, leaving the Digimon unable to recover their strength.

Devimon splits File Island apart and sends the children flying away on their beds. Taichi's Digivice frees Leomon from Devimon's control, allowing him to help Taichi and Agumon escape.
