In Digimon Crusader, Cerberumon is a challenger in the Olympos XII storyline who calls itself the "Watchdog of Hell".

Cerberumon appears in Chapter 5, "Light and Darkness Begin to Move", where it confronts Aegiomon in the wastelands. Cerberumon says that it came to see what the "Child of Fate" was like, but is disappointed by what it finds. It challenges Aegiomon to prove its title by demonstrating the power within it. The encounter causes Aegiomon to feel its dormant power stirring. Cerberumon later evolves into Cerberumon: Werewolf Mode and then Plutomon.
