This card's text received a silent errata on 2025 August 23. 「自分の「デッドリーアックスモン」1体の進化元を全て破棄し、このデジモンの進化元の下に置くことで」 　→ 「自分の「デッドリーアックスモン」1体をこのデジモンの進化元の下に置くことで」 The card was originally printed during a period of time when there wasn't yet a Comprehensive Rules Manual, and the reminder text "The evolution bases of this Digimon are trashed" was often redundantly placed into the card text. In the case of this card, the reminder text was incorrectly rendered as trashing the evolution bases by an effect as part of the activation cost, which produces unintended behavior that rulings had to be explicitly made to circumvent. ・If [BT9-109 X-Antibody] was under the targeted [Deadly Axemon], the original wording would cause the effect to fail, due to [X-Antibody]'s inherited effect preventing effects from trashing it. ・If [EX10-039 Tyutyumon] was under the targeted [EX10-027 Deadly Axemon], the original wording would cause an additional card to be drawn, due to [Tyutyumon]'s inherited effect activating Draw 1 when an effect trashes it. Since this behavior was incorrect, official rulings were published with the explicit purpose of patching the effect to work as intended, and the next time the card was reprinted, the effect was errata'd to work as originally intended. The correct way of rendering this effect in the Block 1 era would have been as follows: アタック時 自分の「デッドリーアックスモン」1体をこのデジモンの進化元の下に置くことで、このデジモンは手札の「ダークナイトモン」に進化コストを支払わずに進化できる。そのデジモンの進化元は破棄する。
