The Archive Ship (アーカイブシップ Ākaibu Shippu) is a ship that was used to move between File Island and Directory Continent. Currently, it's located in Beetle Land of File Island.

The Archive Ship is a huge ship that people had used to ride to File Island from Directory Continent's Archive Port in the past. Now its presence is treated as a legend. The ship actually used to be a turtle Digimon, but now it has all but become scrap metal.

Akira first learned of the Archive Ship from the Blood Knights Officer in Serial Hole, who was looking for it but prioritized defeating Akira over finding it.
After defeating Damedabose in Resist Hole, Akira found the Red Orders on the floor, an order to search for the Archive Ship, which he took. He then returned to his Leader (Vandar, Cecilia or Skull) to show them the Red Orders. After the Leader reacted to the Archive Ship, Akira asked them what that was, and they explained that it was a ship used by their forefathers to escape File Island. However, Akira thought that was just a myth. The Leader, now convinced of how evil the Blood Knights' plan was, angrily ordered Akira to find out where the Archive Ship was ASAP, and to do so, sent him to talk to Professor Hyotto who studied the Archive Ship. In Device Dome, after a test, Professor Hyotto directed Akira towards Ben Oldman, as he knew a lot about the old days though he was hard to deal with.
After their fight, Ben Oldman explained to Akira that the Archive Ship was a huge turtle Digimon in the big junk pile, too damaged to work. Akira couldn't understand why the Blood Knights were so interested in that and Ben Oldman didn't know either, though he guessed it may be because the Archive Ship had many old items so there may be something useful there.
