Turuiemon is the Partner Kemonogami of Kayama Shuuji. In the Truth route, after Shuuji completely breaks down due to Archnemon's manipulations and his own weakness and trauma, he physically attacks his own Partner, Lopmon, after emotionally abusing him during their entire partnership. This causes Lopmon to be covered in a black fog, unlike the golden glow of a normal evolution. Tominaga Ryo intervenes and punches Shuuji, making him realize how terribly he treated Lopmon, when Lopmon had worked hard for his sake; and how he wasn't alone, everyone was with him, especially Lopmon. Now back to his senses, Shuuji acknowledges that he saw all of his own weaknesses in his partner despite said partner being so much stronger than himself. Lopmon is happy at finally being praised, which Shuuji had wanted to do for a long time, but in this moment, what he most wants is to protect everyone and live up to Lopmon's expectations of him, to be someone who Lopmon could be proud of and who could reward Lopmon's efforts, so he could live without regret. Shuuji's powerful feelings allow Lopmon to evolve into Turuiemon.
Turuiemon is also a playable Kemonogami which can be obtained as both a Partner and a Free Kemonogami. It's a Special-type, Data-attribute, Adult-level Kemonogami. Its unnamed Attack is a kick (110 power, 0 SP, deals Earth damage to target) and its special attack is Gantoretto (225 power, 30 SP, deals non-elemental damage to target, with a low chance of increasing its PHYS ATK and SP ATK one rank). Its Passive Skill is Ninjinken (Increases SPD one rank, and vertical jump distance one level). Turuiemon's evolutions differ depending on whether it is the Partner Turuiemon or a Free Turuiemon:
- Partner Turuiemon evolves from Lopmon and can evolve into Andiramon and Cherubimon. All of these are unlocked by clearing specific events.
- Free Turuiemon evolves from Patamon and can evolve into Andiramon and Holy Angemon by using Perfect Enlightenment Slabs.
