• When Taichi congratulates Daisuke for his prowess at soccer, the Saban dub instead makes him insult Daisuke for being clumsy.

• The text describing Ken's record in soccer is accurately translated in the Saban dub.

• Ken’s soccer team is not referred to by name in the Saban dub. It also claims that he is the team captain.

• Daisuke’s personality is heavily exaggerated in the Saban dub (even more so than in other episodes). Whereas the Japanese version of the character is more humble and eager to play against Ken, the Saban version constantly brags about how much better he is than Ken.
