Raijinmon, along with Fujinmon and Suijinmon, is one of the three boss Digimon used by Lord Megadeath, the mastermind of A.o.A. Raijinmon can use Elekugel with its arms to deal Thunder damage and can use Bark Storm to unleash a powerful thunderstorm attack.

Raijinmon can be obtained as a Special Digivolution during an event if the player's Terriermon is at level 91 and has GoldenRapidmon through Card Digivolution. There was also a Special Event in which an NPC gives a special Dorimon whose Digivolutions are DORUmon, Guardromon, Death-X-DORUguremon and Raijinmon.
