Digimon Savers

When Thoma H. Norstein was taking Daimon Chika out for her birthday, they went to an amusement park, planning to see fireworks later during the night. A gigantic Bomber Nanimon appeared, and began to run rampage around the park. Thoma evolved his partner Gaomon into Gaogamon who attacked the destructive Digimon. When Bomber Nanimon threatened to blow up everyone with a large amount of bombs, Thoma had Gaogamon toss him into the air and attack, which thus caused him to explode and create what appeared to be fireworks from afar.

(Note: In the English dub of DS07, Bomber Nanimon's name and appearance has been drastically changed to Citramon(1).)

1.
Citramon from Digimon Data Squad
Deeming a bomb-based character as being inappropriate for broadcast on a family-friendly network, Disney ordered that Bomber Nanimon be changed into a giant orange, with his attacks and dialogue changed to reflect this. Kirk Thornton, who voices Citramon, voices the Digimon in the style of Don Patch, a major character from the anime series Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo. This, however, is not a coincidence. Jeff Nimoy wrote Citramon as an "ode" to the character.
