Beelzebumon: Blast Mode is the Partner Digimon of Ai and Makoto.
When Impmon came back to the Real World with the Tamers, he returned to Ai and Makoto. When he saw the Tamers fighting the D-Reaper on TV, he went to help. Before he left, Makoto gave him his favorite toy gun to help him fight and Ai kissed him on the cheek. With his Tamers' wishes in mind, he managed to evolve into Beelzebumon, and using the gun, he evolved further to Blast Mode, with Makoto's gun becoming his Blaster. With his newfound power, he assisted in battling the D-Reaper and looking for Katou Juri. He and Culumon infiltrated the kernel sphere, but it spit Beelzebumon back out. After Dukemon attacked using ZERO-ARMS: Grani's Yuggoth Blaster, revealing the kernel sphere again, Beelzebumon used Leomon's Jūouken to to break the barrier, freeing Juri, but her fear and confusion sealed it again. He was then nearly killed when the D-Reaper's flying blades chased him and injured him, though he survived and reverted back into Impmon.

While Beelzebumon was defeated in combat, he had fun, so he leaves as he promised.
When the party appeared in the Akashic Records to slay Chronomon, his instincts to defend the Akashic Records as the warden of time caused him to create weaker copies of the Seven Great Demon Lords to halt their progress. Beelzebumon is one of them and appeared in Akashic Ragnarok, where it Mode Changes into Beelzebumon: Blast Mode and attacks the party. Its skills are Ignition Flare III, Chaos Flare (no drawbacks) and Death Slinger.
Beelzebumon: Blast Mode is also an obtainable Digimon. It evolves from Beelzebumon.
