Admining[edit]

I know I'm not really around, but please do me a favor and at least let me know before you give admin privileges to someone else.

Thanks :3333 --Koroku 04:56, 21 August 2009 (UTC)

Sorry about that, will do so. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 05:56, 21 August 2009 (UTC)
It's not the end of the world, I just kinda want to know who has "big" power and whatnot, since the automatic back-up system is, once again, borked. Speaking of which, i should make a back-up. --Koroku 06:50, 21 August 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, definitely. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 06:54, 21 August 2009 (UTC)
Please do! I'm not sure my OCD could handle having to remake 800+ pages... again.--devkyu 04:32, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

Digimon.net[edit]

There is no www. in that adress, also the way you change the adresses, all those are non-functuioning links Example for a working link: http://digimon.net/cat-digimon-dictionary/04-ta/tokomon/index.html Just to inform you. Also most pages look kinda messed up right now. MugenSeiRyuu

Oh right, thanks for that, I'll remove the "www" bit, all of this is due to the new Template:S being implemented, so I'm slowly going through all 260 Digimon pages with links on them. --Ainz 09:05, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

Good. Is that also the reason why some alternate Translations of names don't show up, like for Ravemon and Kentarumon?MugenSeiRyuu

Yeah, I'm just going through fixing the small flaws in the new design. --Ainz 21:09, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

Lightlowemon[edit]

Sounds good to me. Guy seems trustw orthy.--Daisuke Motomiya 21:07, 21 May 2009 (UTC)

Thanks very much Ainz for putting me up for Adminship, although I have to ask, what's that much different from before, besides being able to block, protect, and edit the protected? I just hope I can do well. --Lightlowemon 12:34, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

No problem! --Ainz 14:25, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

Uploading images[edit]

I get a "The upload directory (public) is not writable by the webserver." error when I try to upload. Are you able to upload anything?--Daisuke Motomiya 15:07, 1 April 2009 (UTC)

Who should we contact about this?--Daisuke Motomiya 15:24, 1 April 2009 (UTC)

Thanks. It's working again.--Daisuke Motomiya 03:34, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

On an unrelated note, can you translate Mimi's attack names (Otome no Nage Kiss and Unchi Tsukami) from her mock Digimon Analyzer? I figured we could put it Notes and References section for that episode since she doesn't have an Attack Techniques section on her page.--Daisuke Motomiya 14:16, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

Here. It's been done for a while.KrytenKoro06 13:12, 19 April 2009 (UTC)
Based on this, and other uses of U-chi, I want to say it basically means "Buttocks" (The title of the article translates as "When [u] ○ [chi] hits, the slot machine starts turning lively, “the bedpan”"). It would make sense - we've all heard the rumors, and she is the most feminine character in that season.KrytenKoro06 13:17, 19 April 2009 (UTC)
Then again, I saw the term used for what I think is a parrot that just crapped, and the article was for a toilet; Unchi itself means faeces, and again, Mimi is the one always being chased by Sukamon and Numemon. So, it could be slang for buttocks, or just mean "Poop Grab/Grip".
Oh yeah, it definitely means "Poop" - here and here. What the hell, Japan?KrytenKoro06 13:23, 19 April 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing, especially relating to the sixth episode of Digimon Adventure.--Ainz 13:30, 19 April 2009 (UTC)

Layout[edit]

"Can you please tell whoever maintains the wikimon skin that there are graphics in http://wikimon.net/index.php?title=MediaWiki:Monobook.css&usemsgcache=yes&action=raw&ctype=text/css&smaxage=18000 that doesn't exist and it causes the browser to make unnecessary call to php everytime a page is loaded. (really slows the website down)" <-- from pawitp

Card quotes[edit]

As per the request of other editors on the Digimon Wiki, I've started compiling the non-kata text on the cards we upload. The only such one so far is here. I went ahead and corrected the ChaosDukemon article with them.KrytenKoro06 23:12, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

Also, the animators of the moving sprites at WtW have given us permission to use them - they work very well for the Story-only characters such as ChaosDukemon Core, Chronomon, etc. You can copy ours, or go get theirs.KrytenKoro06 23:23, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
For the card quotes, I was thinking that, if possible, we could create a large compilation of quotes from HC, AE and BT/BT2, similar to that list of evolution references over at Digimon Wiki. --Ainz 23:41, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

Nefertimon[edit]

The Rosetta Stone also has Digicode on it, but I'm having trouble making out any of it but "hikari" on the first line. Do you have any high quality images or scans of the stone, and do you want to help?

Alos, LordKnightmon has Digicode as well.KrytenKoro06 15:45, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

Despite not having any high quality images of the Rosetta Stone, I'll see if I can help out with the code - I've managed to decode the first adn second lines, but I still can't make out the rest of third line. --Ainz 00:54, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

Here's what I'm getting:

Dco.pngDco.pngDci.pngDcna.pngルDchi.pngDcka.pngDcri.pngDcno.pngDci.pngDcshi.pngDcyo.png - 多いなる光の???
Dcso.png??Dcka.pngDcu.pngDcwo.pngDcshi.pngDcte.png
??アDci.png????
Rosetta Stone.jpg

Does this help?--Daisuke Motomiya 16:10, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

The "digicode" from above is present on St-443. --Ainz 17:16, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

Can anyone decode it? Is it still to small to read?--Daisuke Motomiya 04:33, 9 December 2008 (UTC)

I've managed to add the third and part of the fourth line (one character absent), which along with the antecedent lines is beginning to make more sense:

Line 1: Dco.pngDco.pngDci.pngDcna.pngルDchi.pngDcka.pngDcri.pngDcno.pngDci.pngDcshi.pngDcyo.png
(巨なる光の石よ Ōinaru hikari no ishi yo, lit. "The stone of great light,")

Line 2: Dcso.pngDcno.pngDcchi.pngDcka.pngDcu.pngDcwo.pngDcshi.pngDcte.png
(その誓うをして Sono chikau wo shite, lit. "That which vows,")

Line 3: Dcji.pngDcya.pngアDcku.pngDcno.pngDcya.pngDcmi.pngDcwo.png
(邪悪の闇を Jāku no yami wo)

Line 4: Dcno.pngDcchi.pngDcha.png ? Dci.png

If the unknown character was Dcka.png, then it definitely gets the message across. --Ainz 14:08, 19 April 2009 (UTC)

I didn't even see that fourth line. I would assume that ka would work.

The nochihakai is giving a bit of trouble properly translating, but I think it wants to be like this:

Upon the stone of great light
This vow is made
That the shadows of evil
Will be destroyed.

From the anime:
Dco.pngDco.pngDci.pngDcna.pngルDchi.pngDcka.pngDcri.pngDcno.pngDci.pngDcshi.pngDcyo.png
Dcso.pngDcno.pngDcchi.pngDcka.png(Dcmi.png/Dcra.png)Dcwo.pngDcte.png
Dcji.pngDcya.pngアDcku.pngDcno.pngDcya.pngDcmi.pngDcwo.png
Dcno.pngDcchi.pngDcha.png?Dci.png

Problem is, this one definitely has at least one more line. I'll see if I can watch the episode, but I don't have a high quality version of it.KrytenKoro06 08:59, 13 May 2009 (UTC)

Never mind, that shot was the entire art for that scene. Well, I think it might be an Dci.png, but it's good enough for now.
It's probably "ra", which would change the translation to:

巨なる光の石よ
その力をして
邪悪の闇を
後破壊

From the stone of great light,
This power is given
That the shadows of evil
Will be destroyed.
Something something something something

Sorry[edit]

I haven't been around lately. Is there anything you need me to be doing, like Channel translations?KrytenKoro06 13:13, 19 April 2009 (UTC)

I've been trying to extract the text that Bokomon reads from that wall displaying Ornismon, AncientGreymon and AncientGarurumon in Digimon Frontier: Revival of the Ancient Digimon!! So far, I've got:

憎しみの???デジコードを海鳥の羽に満たすべし、然ればわれ復活せる

It's missing one word but I've been having trouble trying to make out what it could be. --Ainz 14:24, 19 April 2009 (UTC)

Ravemon/Ravmon[edit]

Shouldn't we have it as Ravemon? Yeah, I know that the Bandai Website says Rav, but his Evolution Sequence clearly says Rave. Just like with Submarimon, where the Site says Sabmari, but the Sequence says Submari. MugenSeiRyuu

To avoid more inconsistency using a mixture of Toei and Bandai (and fanmade) names, keeping them to a minimum. Also, due to Bandai (and WiZ) originally starting off the franchise also comes into play. --Ainz 18:54, 24 April 2009 (UTC)

In that case, we probably should make some kind of note regarding those names. MugenSeiRyuu

Thanks for fixing it! MugenSeiRyuu

Featured[edit]

On Digimon Wiki, I've been using ; to substitute for the == headers in the featured article box. Maybe that would work to split up the sections?KrytenKoro06 05:43, 16 May 2009 (UTC)

Background[edit]

When we figure out what design to use, yeah. I don't think any of us over there have any graphics-coding experience. I was kind of thinking of jazzing it up like tfwiki did, but of course with Digimon-appropriate design.KrytenKoro06 16:40, 16 May 2009 (UTC)

I'm only seeing "ROSEMON". I think I might need to clear my cache, but I want to wait on that because I'm in the middle of submitting to another wiki which is having some technical difficulty, and I don't want to lose my write-up.KrytenKoro06 17:37, 16 May 2009 (UTC)
Okay, I'm seeing it now. It looks awesome, and would be a great border. Is there any way to make the lines greenish, though, to get that "Matrixy" feel that Tamers had?KrytenKoro06 17:59, 16 May 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, I'll put one up in a bit. --Ainz 18:03, 16 May 2009 (UTC)
Sorry about this, my Photoshop's playing up for some reason. --Ainz 03:24, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

Profiles[edit]

Thanks for the Info MugenSeiRyuu

Apollomon[edit]

His name is mispelled in the Box over his pic, but I can't fix it. Also the frontpage lists his Digimon Story Evo Requiremtns also under Championship, while the Article itself lists the actually needed ones. MugenSeiRyuu

Thanks for that (after all that time, how did I not notice that Apollomon was misspelled as appolomon in the box!?) --Ainz 05:35, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

No problem! MugenSeiRyuu

Pupumon and Octmon[edit]

That's pretty much it, yeah.KrytenKoro06 08:51, 19 May 2009 (UTC)

Common.js[edit]

Hello Ainz. I am Azul from the KHWiki. A user there named KyrtenKoro has brought your idea of tabbing to the Kingdom Hearts Wiki. If successfully activated, it will greatly help out of Wikia. I've created the Tabber pages, but I don't know how to add importScript("MediaWiki:Tabber.js"); without messing everything up. Since you are the one who came up with it, you must be skilled in editing Common.js ;} Most of us at the KHWiki aren't good at editing Common. I was wondering if maybe you can help me out? -Azul81677 21:22, 23 May 2009 (UTC)

Wow. Thanks. What caught me off guard, thinking that I had done something wrong was when I added it and pressed "Show preview". Everything looked out of whack. Thanks again! -Azul81677 21:49, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
It's not showing up for me either.KrytenKoro06 19:32, 24 May 2009 (UTC)
It could be to do with the "import script" thing, but even so it should still work. --Ainz 19:40, 24 May 2009 (UTC)
I'm not sure what you need me to do. I've copied our files to User:KrytenKoro/common1 and User:KrytenKoro/Commoncss. Could you modify those codes as needed, and I'll do a full paste over on the Digimon Wiki?KrytenKoro06 05:27, 26 May 2009 (UTC)

Wicked Dragon Type[edit]

Shouldn't that be changed to Evil Dragon Type? MugenSeiRyuu

They're essentially the same, but I'll change them to "Evil Dragon". --Ainz 12:39, 6 June 2009 (UTC)

Thanks!MugenSeiRyuu

Tabbing[edit]

Is there any way to organize the tabs themselves? Specifically, I would like the tabs here to be presented in two rows, but help wiki is incredibly non-useful about this.KrytenKoro06 03:22, 14 June 2009 (UTC)

Two rows as in directly below another row of tabs? If so I'm not sure how to organize the actual tabs themseleves like that, the only way I can think to getting close is to modify the common.css part of the tabber code. --Ainz 05:06, 14 June 2009 (UTC)

Images[edit]

Someone was on an uploading spree last night, 500 total images in the space between my edit from last night and my first today. You must have been busy. --Lightlowemon 11:10, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

Yep, now virtually all of the booster cards (excluding Bx# cards) have been uploaded. --Ainz 12:29, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
Actually, I finished up the Bx# cards last night. Now time to work on the Starter cards, woohoo! --devkyu 17:25, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

Affiliate[edit]

We would like to affiliate with your site.

I'm not really sure how such things are done, but if all we do is put up links on the front page, then I'd like to use the "Official Sites" template you have on the main page, but with "Affiliates" instead of "Other".KrytenKoro06 23:23, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

Likewise as well, I might add the extra "Affiliates" tab as well to the template. --Ainz 23:35, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

Digimon.net[edit]

Are you having trouble reaching Digimon.net? This is starting to look like the worst anniversary celebration ever.KrytenKoro06 01:54, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, but I've managed to bypass it using a proxy, which is really irritating. Also when clicking to go to the main page on different subpages, it still directs to the old url then redirects to the new url for some reason. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 04:47, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
Okay, it no longer needs a proxy now. Woo! And hopefully we get AncientSphinxmon next week!KrytenKoro06 16:46, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
I'm still having trouble with it, hopefully it should work for me soon. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 17:40, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

Question[edit]

Someone recently told me how WtW hates the heck out of Digimon Wiki, and from what I've seen it's over stuff like us claiming that the Digi-Egg of Sincerity represents Sincerity in the Japanese version as well (to summarize, it's more complex than that). I was just wondering, do you feel that we have a lot of inaccuracies? I mean, if we do, we need to know, or we can't fix them.KrytenKoro06 16:46, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

I find find any inaccuracies yet, if any thing, over here has more inaccuracies (and inconsistencies) than Digimon Wiki, but I think understand why they're complaining over the names for the Digi-Eggs in question. They're source of justification probably comes from the following:
However, Bandai has only done this for four of them (the other two being Digimental of Miracles as "Digimental of Miracle" and Digimental of Friendship as "Digimental of Friendship") as far as I'm aware, and knowing Bandai's unpredictable nature, they could possibly be subject to change. --Ainz 17:36, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
Forgot to say it earlier, but thank you. I've used these images as sources on wiki. Also, would you mind checking my Lucemon FM translation?KrytenKoro06 21:45, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
I've checked it, but for the first sentence I got something like "The strongest of the Seven Great Demon Lords, the ultimate Demon Lord Digimon which possesses both the divine and the diabolic", unless the "究極の魔王型デジモン" bit was intentionally omitted, but other than that, it all looks good. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 23:57, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
Don't know why I missed that; I readded it.KrytenKoro06 04:01, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

Wikia[edit]

Hi. I wrote about this to Koroku, but he send me to you. I'm running polish Digimon Wikia, and I would to ask if I can use images stored here, on Wikimon. To tell the truth, I don't know which license do you follow. My Wikia (as Digimon Wiki) runs under CC-BY-SA. Final Cannon 10:14, 21 August 2009 (UTC)

Wikimon currently isn't under any license, although I've suggested the CC-BY-SA. But, if you want to attribute the images you upload from here, that'll be fine. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 11:27, 21 August 2009 (UTC)

Ancient Wisetmon[edit]

Looking at the profile again (and the address), the spelling appears to be Ancient Wise"t"mon. This does not seem to be a mispelling - it's Thai for "Magic".KrytenKoro06 02:49, 5 September 2009 (UTC)

I'm really tempted to change it, since "wiset" can also mean "supernatural; god-like" in the same language which can relate to it, but the moment I do, everyone would probably go into a fit. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 07:47, 5 September 2009 (UTC)
Vote or request for discussion, maybe?KrytenKoro06 18:16, 5 September 2009 (UTC)

User[edit]

Special:Contributions/Delipa seems to be adding unofficial attack descriptions and translations, as well as very badly-written story descriptions. I don't want to remove them because I don't know what your policy is on "official" vs. "observed" attack descriptions, but I thought I should bring it to your attention.KrytenKoro06 18:03, 11 September 2009 (UTC)

Wikimon Logo v2[edit]

Wikimonlogo2.png

wow, I last visited wikimon like 2 years ago when I noticed the site was recovered and you guys were looking for the logo... (Wikimon:Logo) great job for keeping the wiki alive! I was very impressed at how the large the database had become :D And seeing that the theme was changed to dark, I thought the logo needed a little change in order for the text to be seen well. So I revamped the old logo (that I still had stored in my PC lol) and tried uploading.. but I think something was wrong with the server. Whenever I pushed upload the page just stopped responding and gave me the 503 error... several times. As a result, the file history is kind of jumbled up. But anyhow I'm sure you'll be able to distinguish which one is the new. Since I dont think just uploading a new version of picture changes the logo itself, you can go ahead and replace the current with the new one :) Cheers! --Kimatg 01:58, 25 September 2009 (UTC)

Since I can't change the logo itself, it would be better to ask Koroku regarding it. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 06:07, 25 September 2009 (UTC)

Affiliate pt. 2[edit]

How would DigiWiki go about setting up analogous links to wikimon like is done with foreign language pages?KrytenKoro06 05:09, 6 November 2009 (UTC)

Like how Bulbapedia does? It would involve creating a new namespace as described in the MediaWiki guide for setting up interwiki linking, but with it being Wikia, I'm not sure (I'd guess it would be similar to how custom namespaces can be added on Wikia). --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 05:52, 6 November 2009 (UTC)
Well, I don't want to make you guys rearrange things, then. How about what DigiWiki used to do on wikipedia, where there's a little "Wikimon has info on x" graphic at the bottom of the page? Would you guys want to design something like that, how you'd want it to be?KrytenKoro06 18:47, 7 November 2009 (UTC)

Hercules[edit]

I need help translating this line:

 • もはやこの究極の進化を果たしたヘラクルカブテリモンにかなう存在は少ないだろう

I think it's either

 • There are probably few beings now who are suitable to accomplish this Ultimate evolution to HerakleKabuterimon.

or

 • Having now accomplished this Ultimate evolution, there are probably few beings who can rival HerakleKabuterimon.

Could you take a look at it?KrytenKoro06 00:58, 12 November 2009 (UTC)

The かなう is really irritating me, but I'm beginning to tend more towards the "rivalry" side (first thing which comes to mind is that it could be descretely referring to GranKuwagamon, or at least be a "prelude" to GranKuwagamon's profile judging the context). I'd say that the second line would be more a suitable translation --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 02:59, 13 November 2009 (UTC)

G Shurunen[edit]

I have been stumped on this for a while (that's why I've been avoiding those bios), but I think I've found a crude idea of what it may be

酒類念

酒類 is "Shurui", and 念 is "Nen". I don't get any uses of this anywhere, but it would roughly mean something like "drunk feelings". This seems to roughly correspond to the description of it being a wild attack of shooting lasers in a blind rage.

This is just an idea, and I would need to check this with someone fluent. I really don't like how no one has any idea what it is.KrytenKoro06 23:35, 12 November 2009 (UTC)

Could it be chinese?KrytenKoro06 23:42, 12 November 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, I was thinking that, I've been trying to find out the origin of Shurunen for a while and am still baffled. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 02:42, 13 November 2009 (UTC)
Ask Futamaru on DATS. He might have an idea. --Koroku 02:52, 13 November 2009 (UTC)
Going off the "gekirin" format, could it possibly be "璽-主流年" (imperial seal-lord-exile-year) or "自-主流年" (self-lord-exile-year)? It seems like the kana would work, and it the lord-exile-year bit gets quite a bit of hits on google. In Chinese, though.KrytenKoro06 00:32, 23 January 2010 (UTC)

Questions[edit]

1. Do Wikimon have some kind of "image policy"? I ask, because i wanted to know if I can use images downloaded from here on my Wiki (of course credited).

2. I think that Category:Long Necked Dragon Type sholud be changed to Plesiosaur Type.

3. Do Baby I/Baby II Digimons have an attribute? I saw on lots of places that they're data. I remember that in DA Analyzers they being attributed as data, but they do the same with Andromon and Numemon.

Final Cannon 00:15, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

1. Not currently, but we should think about implementing one in the future.

2. Yeah (although a "problem" occurs with Brachimon who is also of the same type).

3. Baby I/II Digimon don't have an attribute, the DA Analyzers probably displayed them all as "Data" since the (Anime) franchise was "still in its infancy".

Sorry about the late reply, I've been really busy over the week. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 10:51, 28 November 2009 (UTC)

Karatenmon[edit]

Could you check my translation for "Shougekiha"?KrytenKoro06 02:02, 20 January 2010 (UTC)

It looks OK, also I think that the reading for "伊由太加" could be a pun on "苛高" from the rosary "Irataka-juzu/nenju" (苛高数珠/刺高念珠) which was "...originally a Buddist device to aid concentration during meditation..." and was apparently used by Shugendou priests. [1] --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 07:18, 20 January 2010 (UTC)
Actually, I've found out that "伊良太加", "苛高", "最多角" and "刺高" all seem be alterative readings of "Irataka" and used in the same context, so that "solves" Irataka's connection to Karatenmon's Shugendou theme. [2]--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 08:05, 20 January 2010 (UTC)
For the actual meaning of "Irataka", it looks as though its debatable, I've found an incomplete quote from JSTOR:
...Irataka is considered by some to be the sanskrit word for rosary, arataka. However, Yanagita Kunio says that ira meant thorn. This explains the claws of animals, etc., which are attached to the rosary and is not of Buddhistic origin... -Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 16:07, 20 January 2010 (UTC)
I've edited the page with a link to a picture of them that I found. If you can find a better enyclopedia-type link (english or japanese), or a straightforward translation, please replace. Thanks!KrytenKoro06 21:54, 20 January 2010 (UTC)

KingEtemon[edit]

Here's what I still have:

胸に"大王"の文字が入ったサルスーツを颯爽と着こなし、

It is snappily dressed in a Monkey Suit (サルスーツ "Saru Sūtsu"?) with the characters 大王 ( "Daiou"?, lit. "Great King") set on its chest,

スターきどりで闊歩しているが、他のデジモン達の冷笑を買っている。

and though it struts with its pretensions of stardom, it only elicits derision and scorn from other Digimon.

必殺技は、芝居をうって相手の戦闘意欲をそいでしまう「サルしばい」。

Its Special Move is to perform a play, completely draining the opponent's will to fight (Saru Shibai).

I'm not sure about the first line ("snappily dressed"), or the verb "perform" used for "utte". Could you look over this?KrytenKoro06 19:54, 22 January 2010 (UTC)

DigiCode[edit]

I asked KrytenKoro on DW about Digi Code characters uploaded there. He answered that he got them from you. My question is: can I upload these characters on my polish Digimon Wiki? Of course, I'll credit you. Thanks in advance, Final Cannon 07:52, 21 February 2010 (UTC).

Sure! --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 08:43, 21 February 2010 (UTC)

Digital World Kiki Ippatsu and server bugs[edit]

Hopefully this will get through, but there is a huge problem with the software on adding messages to unmade talk pages, both user and mainspace.

Also, How would you translate "デジモンセイバーズ3D デジタルワールド危機イッパツ!"?

I have the obvious bits, but the Ippatsu is not making sense. It could either be "Crisis one-shot" or "Hair's breadth to crisis", I think.KrytenKoro06 14:49, 24 March 2010 (UTC)

"Nausicaä Kiki Ippatsu" is dubbed as "Nausicaa in the Nick of Time", so I think it might be "Digital World in the Nick of Time". Going to check.KrytenKoro06 14:51, 24 March 2010 (UTC)
"Beast Wars Second: LioConvoy in Imminent Danger!" works better: "Digital World in Imminent Danger!".KrytenKoro06 14:53, 24 March 2010 (UTC)
"Futari wa Precure Splash Star Tick Tack Kiki Ippatsu! (ふたりはプリキュア スプラッシュ☆スター チクタク危機一髪!?, Lit. Pretty Cure Splash Star Tic-Tac Crisis Hanging by a Thin Thread!)" is a bit more literal, but I think "in Imminent Danger" works best.KrytenKoro06 14:55, 24 March 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, sorry for the constant messages. I think we're going with "Digimon Savers 3D: Digital World in Imminent Danger!", but "The Digital World in Imminent Danger!" might work better.KrytenKoro06 15:01, 24 March 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, I think "Digimon Savers 3D: The Digital World in Imminent Danger!" sounds a lot more effective and relevant than "Digimon Savers 3D - A Close Call for the Digital World!" --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 15:43, 24 March 2010 (UTC)

Picklemon[edit]

I noticed that Picklemon has been moved back to the page Piccolomon. Can you fix this? Because I am not sure if it should be moved back or not, even though the official site says Picklemon. Jun 04:22, 2 April 2010 (UTC)

I tried doing that before but then it resulted in a big dispute afterwards, so I restored it to "Piccolomon". I'm still against using "Piccolomon", but I didn't want to start the dispute again so that's why the page still remains "Piccolomon".--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 04:29, 2 April 2010 (UTC)

Doumon[edit]

タオモンと同じく闇に潜み闇に生きる存在である

I think this means "Like Taomon, it is a being hidden in the darkness that lives within the darkness". The "闇に潜み闇に生きる" also appears on Taomon's profile. It really sounds like some saying, but I can't pin it down.KrytenKoro06 00:36, 2 May 2010 (UTC)

Might simplify to "it is a being that hides and lives within the darkness"?KrytenKoro06 00:37, 2 May 2010 (UTC)

Darkdramon[edit]

I am completly flummoxed on this line:

あくまで噂の域を出ない情報だ、

And I'm not sure if I translated this line right, specifically the "作戦で" part:

コードネーム「BAN-TYO」と呼ばれる「目標」を排除する作戦で撃墜されたタンクドラモンが回収され、「D-ブリガード」の研究機関においてダークドラモンへと進化したと言われている。

I have:

"it is said that a Tankdramon shot down during an operation to eliminate a "target" designated "Codename: BAN-TYO" was retrieved, and evolved to Darkdramon at the D-Brigade research facility it was left at."

Requesting help for KH wiki again.[edit]

I believe that Template:NeoS6 is the format that would be used to create something like this. Would you be able to assist me in drafting up something like that? I'm going to try it here. Thanks!KrytenKoro06 07:40, 17 May 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, sure! Will the templete also apply to Nobodies and Unversed? --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 10:12, 17 May 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for your help!
Yes. Characters, as well. I'm going to have a "type" parameter that has these options:
 1. Emblem Heartless
 2. Pureblood Heartless
 3. Heartless
 4. Low-ranking Nobody
 5. High-ranking Nobody
 6. Organization XIII
 7. Unversed
 8. Somebody

What I can't figure out how to do is to have the image box change the emblem based on what that it. 1-3 should cause the Heartless emblem, 4-6 the Nobody, 7 Unversed, 8 Somebody.

Finally, we want to use the subspecies box you guys have here. It will actually work exactly the same as how it does at Agumon, but the coding is hard for me to figure out.KrytenKoro06 18:41, 17 May 2010 (UTC)

For the emblem to change, I was thinking something along the lines of:

{{#switch: {{{1|{} }}}|Emblem Heartless=|Heartless=|Pureblood Heartless=|High-ranking Nobody=|Low-ranking Nobody=|Organization XIII=|Unversed=|Somebody=}}.

Do you want the color scheme to change for each option?--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 19:55, 17 May 2010 (UTC)

I've already set up a style switch template at KH wiki that will change the color scheme of the template base don what type of enemy it is, so I can patch that in once this is done. I'm going to test it out now. Thanks!KrytenKoro06 20:43, 17 May 2010 (UTC)
Is there any way to make the SubVarT template self-contained within the draft?KrytenKoro06 20:50, 17 May 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, done it. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 20:54, 17 May 2010 (UTC)
Thanks man, you've been a wonder. By the way, I should have the DORUgoramon, MetalTyranomon, DORUmon, and Zanbamon profiles done soon, it's just that my computer crashed and I had to restart.KrytenKoro06 21:19, 17 May 2010 (UTC)
Okay, everything is working, except for the parameter that detects whether "Card:Name" exists, and makes a link to it - like the X-Antibody thing you've got here. As far as I can tell, I altered it correctly, but I'm worried that the code might not be working because the Card articles are in a separate namespace. Would you be able to check if I messed something up?KrytenKoro06 22:10, 17 May 2010 (UTC)
I forgot to paste it in in the first place. Well, I'm an idiot.KrytenKoro06 22:17, 17 May 2010 (UTC)
Thanks man, the thing is now fully operational. Please delete all of the templates and images I put up to do this, and thanks for all of your help!KrytenKoro06 22:24, 17 May 2010 (UTC)
Looks great! Ideally, what I've been wanting to do for a while is to try and incorporate this into Wikimon, which would be extremely effective, and could also (theoretically) improve how the Enemy template navigates. The Common.js/css parts are straightforward to add, but I'm struggling with the rest.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 23:00, 17 May 2010 (UTC)
So instead of having tabs, it has embedded links which change the content of the div? So you can customize how you want the "tabbing mechanism" to work?
I guess it could work, but I kind of like how with tabs, the mechanism stays outside of the box, allowing us to use the entire box for content. I guess we can see how it works out for you guys, but I'm not sure how I could help you implement it here at all (I think I'm even more lost).KrytenKoro06 00:51, 18 May 2010 (UTC)

Super Digica Taisen[edit]

The software is bugging again, and won't let me start the page.KrytenKoro06 19:11, 27 May 2010 (UTC)

Here's what I have so far:

 • The new card game, which is what the Lost Evolution promo Omegamon card is in:
 • Apparently will be used with the Digimon Xros Loader. Basically like Battle Terminal.
 • Will be released summer 2010.

The video features some new Digimon -

 • some kind of flag carrying armadillo guys (Shoutmon/Varistormon/Dorurumon's side)
 • same guys, but dark-colored (Lilithmon/Greymon/MailBirdramon's side)
 • Includes a video of Xros evolution, and CGI Shoutmon X4.

Also:
 • It seems to have a "rock, paper, scissors" system which looks similar to the Battle Type system used in Battle Terminal/Alpha
 • The colors of the hand figures also correspond to the colors of "P", "D" and "S"
 • Each card seems to display two attacks, a "DB" attack and "DS" attack (DB and DS probably stand for "DigiBlast" and "DigiStorm" respectively (from the "sample" Shoutmon card that appeared in the July V Jump), and one "effect (???)"
 • On the back of a card, it appears to give a description of the "effect" and display a brief profile (e.g. on the back of one of Shoutmon's cards; Soul Shout: Lowers the opponent's attacks, Profile: "A Digimon that aims to become "Digimon King"...etc")
In the game, there's a Power bar, as well as a Soul bar beneath it which displays three "markers" - "Blast", "Memory" and "Storm". --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 20:44, 27 May 2010 (UTC)

Xros non-Digimon evolutions[edit]

Shoutmon + Dorurumon: Doruru Cannon

Shoutmon's mic + Starmon + 4 Pickmon: Star Sword

I don't know if this would get it's own page or part of the Shoutmon articles.KrytenKoro06 18:25, 30 May 2010 (UTC)

GoldNumemon[edit]

This page is broken, it needs to be fixed, but I don't know how.

EDIT: ALSO, the talk page is broken. It has that same bug the other talk pages do.

Also, go-ru-do-ri-an is in contraction form, meaning it should read "Goldurian Rush".KrytenKoro06 01:09, 2 June 2010 (UTC)

Along the same lines, I think this might be a lead on "Gorudona-ra".KrytenKoro06 01:17, 2 June 2010 (UTC)

Karatsuki Numemon and Platinum Numemon[edit]

What are the sources for the Japanese on these articles? I'm about to translate it, but I want to be able to cite it.KrytenKoro06 08:04, 3 June 2010 (UTC)

Karatsukinumemon's profile was on the Digivice Burst site (http://digimon.net/digiviceburst/evolution/p-list-karatukinume.html), which is now defunct. Similarly, for Platinumnumemon's profile (http://digimon.net/digivice/evo10x/evo_platinumnumemon.html). --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 11:26, 3 June 2010 (UTC)
Would you happen to have the link for KnightChess Black's burst profile? I'm trying to see if I can recover the image using the wayback machine.KrytenKoro06 18:11, 5 August 2010 (UTC)
Here you go! [3]--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 00:12, 6 August 2010 (UTC)
It took me a while, but I finally got wayback machine to find the page. I went ahead and uploaded the image to KCB's page, and I can upload some of the other's that don't have alternatives, if you want.KrytenKoro06 04:25, 6 August 2010 (UTC)

Hyper Coliseum[edit]

A few questions, based on Sx-78:

 • What are the "Power Option" cards called in the Japanese version of the game?
 • What does "Subject" (案件) do?
 • What does the "+20" under the type mean?
 • What is the cell containing "Evolution - Winning Percentage" (進化・勝率)used for?

Thanks!KrytenKoro06 03:05, 18 June 2010 (UTC)

I'm absolutely clueless on all on above! I'm unfamiliar with how the option cards work in HC. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 06:05, 18 June 2010 (UTC)

Loader Liomon[edit]

I'm having trouble with this sentence, and I think I've barely grasped the meaning. Could you take a look at it?KrytenKoro06 08:19, 21 June 2010 (UTC)

 • 職人気質で頑固な性格のものが多く、ローダーレオモン=喧嘩っ早い、という見方をされていることが多い。
 • There are many Loader Liomon with a stubborn personality due to their pride in their work, but there are many people with the viewpoint that states, "Loader Liomon is just quarrelsome."

Baguramon[edit]

The mosaic for the new Dictionary has a demonic looking thing in the upper right corner, whose head seems to match the thing screaming "Baguramon" in the manga. I don't know if it's possible to rip the image, since it's flash-based, but that's what he looks like.KrytenKoro06 09:47, 21 June 2010 (UTC)

Hmmm... I can't rip it, but maybe I could still get a small shot of it.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 09:48, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
Also, I'm not sure what to do for the Starmons page, whether to redirect both the Starmon (2010 Anime) and Pickmon to that page or not.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 10:00, 21 June 2010 (UTC)

Explain![edit]

Why are you so awesome?!KrytenKoro06

Yep! Took me hours to perfect (was having issues with Google Chrome)! Do you want something similar for Digimon Wiki's main page? --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 22:49, 23 June 2010 (UTC)
The Updates and featured card are especially interesting, but THB has taken over the main page design, so I'll try to see if he can talk to you about stuff.
I know he did a lot of work on the "On this day" logs at our wiki, so he could help you guys fill in your versions pretty quick.KrytenKoro06 07:47, 25 June 2010 (UTC)

Lost Evolution[edit]

The Discussion page for that one can't be edited. http://wikimon.net/Talk:Digimon_Story:_Lost_Evolution Also, I have found out the Famitsu Score for that Game. Should I add it?--MugenSeiRyuu 11:56, 24 June 2010 (UTC)

There's some kind of bug which has been doing this for a while, I've managed to make it re-editable. For the Famitsu Score, yeah.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 12:45, 24 June 2010 (UTC)

Tanks! Added the Score!--MugenSeiRyuu 20:31, 24 June 2010 (UTC)

Network[edit]

Sorry for making so many minor edits, but I couldn't decide at first whether it should be a proper noun or not. Right now, I think it should, since it seems to be a synonym for "The Digital World universe".

Also, re:Tactimon, thanks!KrytenKoro06 05:11, 3 July 2010 (UTC)

IRC[edit]

Over at the Digimon Wiki, we've set up an IRC channel for socialization and "ask for help" type stuff.

The way the gateway works, we can add multiple channels so that users can go to a specific channel (For example, our IRC, the central wikia IRC, any foreign-language Digimon IRC's).

 1. Do you guys have an IRC that you would like us to list?
 2. If not, do you guys want to be part of our IRC?

Thanks!KrytenKoro06 17:19, 3 July 2010 (UTC)

Hmm... I'm not sure if Wikimon has a specific IRC channel, so I'm guessing that it's classed under the DATS IRC; .--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 17:32, 3 July 2010 (UTC)

Profile archive site[edit]

This site has pretty much all of the oldprofiles: http://giffactory.joeyteel.com/fenrirsecret/index.html

Thanks for the link! (I've always wondered what happened to that site ever since it went down in the past)--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 08:58, 6 July 2010 (UTC)

Xros Toei images[edit]

Oh! I just realized that I should thank you for the cropped images, and I probably should have asked to use them on the Digimon Wiki (sorry). Is that okay?KrytenKoro06 06:19, 26 July 2010 (UTC)

Feel free! I don't mind at all!--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 17:00, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
Also, this should probably be used as well.KrytenKoro06 04:25, 28 July 2010 (UTC)

jtlyk[edit]

http://www.dats.us/forums/showthread.php?p=142864#post142864 You might want to keep an eye out.

Yeah, Exactly. That's definitely an issue we should bring up and why I've been trying to change it.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 19:56, 28 July 2010 (UTC)

Delete?[edit]

Could you delete the images used here? I'm going to upload cleaner, png versions.KrytenKoro06 18:46, 4 August 2010 (UTC)

DigiMemory (Xros Wars) talk page is bugging[edit]

Also, we copied that article, to prevent people putting up false or mistaken info to fill up a stub. I'll rewrite it as soon as I can get a hold of the episode.KrytenKoro06 13:51, 5 August 2010 (UTC)

WTF WTF WTF[edit]

http://digimon.wikia.com/wiki/Forum:WTF!!!!!

Please read this, this is crazy.KrytenKoro06 02:40, 6 August 2010 (UTC)

Now that's really bizzare! After you mentioned that it was the BGM for fighting Etemon, I searched around for a bit and found this (slightly corrected the penultimate line):

I'm not sure if these are the full lyrics or whether the music repeats with the same lyrics. (PS: Just wondering, was the other voice your sister's?)--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 03:43, 6 August 2010 (UTC)
Yep!KrytenKoro06 04:24, 6 August 2010 (UTC)

Meh.[edit]

I did a rough clean out of the original Dictionary logo, removing all of the revealed profiles, as well as the obvious ones like Armed MadLeomon, Shoutmon X4, MetalGreymon, and Shoutmon (+ Star Sword). This. I don't know that it was of any use to anybody, but I thought I'd mention it.

I think the one on the top left is Tactimon, then below that and to the right DarkKnightmon, then Digimon B (unclear the two at the corners of that small square). On the bottom, Beelzebumon (2010 anime), DarkKnightmon Pickaxe Mode, and Digimon A. On the far right, Baguramon(?), Shoutmon (+ Dondokomon), and possibly MadLeomon (regular).KrytenKoro06 14:15, 6 August 2010 (UTC)

For the one on th far right (above Shoutmon (+ Dondokomon)), I'm thinking that that might be Cyberdramon (2010 anime) because at the International Tokyo Toy Show, a "Cyberdramon" Digimon Xros Figure was displayed, to the right of Sparrowmon's. It would make sense since it shares similarly colored and tattered wings with the original.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 17:49, 6 August 2010 (UTC)
Oh okay, I see now. Cool!KrytenKoro06 05:47, 8 August 2010 (UTC)

Gold Shoutmon X4[edit]

http://digimon.net/images/camp_figure03.jpg (better image)

I think this is saying that it comes with the Xros Loader? But I thought Holy Angemon did that already.

There are also some promo cards for Shoutmon forms.KrytenKoro06 21:36, 6 August 2010 (UTC)

Holy Angemon does come with the Xros Loader but I think this might be for a one-off event like the D1-CP cards for Super Digica Taisen's launch on Thursday.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 21:46, 6 August 2010 (UTC)

SDT card scans[edit]

Hi. Sorry to bother you, but I have question. Can I use Super Digica Taisen card scans uploaded here on my Wiki? I'll credit you of course. Final Cannon 22:26, 6 August 2010 (UTC)

Sure!--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 22:30, 6 August 2010 (UTC)
