The symbols looked better sideways. They just looked cramped.. Kaon 09:10, 15 August 2007 (EDT)

Binah is inherently female though, which confuzzles me to no end. Kaon 10:14, 15 August 2007 (EDT)

Is there any source which actually calls them crests? The only outright reference to them that I know of (unless it's in the cards), is the bio for Lucemon Satan Mode, which calls them "crowns" as an allusion to Revelation.KrytenKoro06 17:08, 18 September 2009 (UTC)

Rev 12:3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
"Monshou" is used in the cards (Cα-047, Cα-048 & Cα-049 ), but since crest can also be a synonym for crown, should we change "Crests" to "Crowns" to get the allusion across?--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 21:43, 18 September 2009 (UTC)
Judging by the cards, the fact that the kanji they use mean crest as in "coat of arms", and that it is also used for the Tag & Crests from Adventure, I guess I was mistaken - the symbols themselves are Crests, but Lucemon uses them as crowns. For their use in the gate, they could also be a reference to the seals on the scrolls.
On a related note, looking closely at Ogudomon's swords, they appear to be different. One of them really reminds me of Soul Edge, actually. Is there any chance that we could get clearer pictures of them, or that the swords are mentioned somewhere?KrytenKoro06 00:11, 19 September 2009 (UTC)
Revelation 19:15: "Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. "He will rule them with an iron scepter." He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty."

[12] And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. [13] And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, [14] And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. [15] And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

It's clear from Ogudomon's function that he is some kind of Biblical allusion. It would make a lot of sense that Ogudomon would be the first beast (since the swords are placed above its secondary eyes), and Lucemon the dragon. That would leave the second beast, the one who looks like a lamb but speaks like a dragon - possible Lucemon Larva himself.
"The first beast of Revelation 13 also has the same number of horns as does the beast of Daniel 7, although that beast is not said to have multiple heads (Daniel 7:8). Furthermore, the beast of Revelation 13 displays all the characteristics of Daniel's beasts. It is said to be like a leopard (third beast), have feet like a bear (second beast), and a mouth like a lion (first beast; compare Revelation 13:2 with Daniel 7:4-7). There is a clear affinity between Daniel's fourth beast and the beast of Revelation 13."

In that light, I've got to think that the Oratio Graniloqua attack has to be something about the blasphemy and fornication mentioned in that chapter, but I'm unsure of exactly how it fits.

Here's the exact words, if you can make them fit the verses better:

  • 欲望 【よくぼう】 (n) desire; appetite; lust
  • 儘(P); 侭 【まま(P); まんま】 (prt) (uk) as it is; as one likes; because; as;
  • 暴走 【ぼうそう】 (n,vs) running wildly; reckless driving; runaway; rampage;

Can't believe I never saw it before - Belphemon Sleep Mode looks like a lamb and speaks like a dragon.KrytenKoro06 17:40, 26 February 2010 (UTC)

Lucemon Falldown Mode[edit]

In this article, Lucemon Falldown is listed as an Ultimate. But, as far as I known, he is supposed to be a Perfect. Is this a mistake in the article or is there an Ultimate variation of Lucemon Falldown that I don't know of? --Libra00 05:52, 29 November 2009 (UTC)

It's automatic as part of the template. Ainz would have to fix it somehow.KrytenKoro06 17:35, 30 November 2009 (UTC)

Crests Images[edit]

In Xros Wars ep. 17, there are some clear images of the crests on Lucemon Satan Mode's Crowns of the Seven Deadly Sins. I can try and crop some of them, but most of them at awkward angles.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 16:05, 23 November 2010 (CST)

What is the Crests' Font?[edit]

I thought I'd make "unofficial" HQ PNGs of the Demon Lords' Crests with Illustrator and Photoshop using some of the screen shots from the Data Squad video game, the anime, and images I've seen around the net, but I've hit a snag - I don't know the font type that is used for "LEVEL:666 SYSTEM:___ CODE:___" and "CAUTION! PURGATORY LEVEL ___". Does somebody know the font type - or a at least a suitable substitute? Keys2tkingdom 20:02, 13 February 2010 (UTC)

Belphemon Sleep Mode[edit]

There are multiple instances now of Sleep Mode being counted as a member. So we have Savers, Cyber Sleuth, Next Order (Rage Mode does not appear part of the story, and Sleep Mode is the one identified as a member instead), and from what I can see, the Dub wiki seems to indicate SM is a member in Decode? this one someone else would need to confirm. Point is, SM counts just as much as RM does at this point. Incidentally, it seems Decode also counts rookie Lucemon - as does CS/NO as a member.Muur (talk) 01:46, 20 June 2019 (CDT)
