Talk:Kagemori Miharu

This appears to be very wrong, and the latest episode has taken the time to state that Miharu is not Mephismon's Owner. The Toei Characters page does group them together on one page, although it groups Wizarmon with her sister, and instead of calling Mephismon Miharu's partner, it states that they are working together.KrytenKoro06 (talk) 21:41, 21 June 2026 (CDT)
- Isn't it the same situation as Elizamon? Miharu didn't give birth to Mephismon but she's still their main e-Pulse provider. Plus, Mephismon explicitely evolved through Miharu's e-Pulse, not Chifuyu's, as seen in the latest episode. --Blaze Dragon (talk) 06:44, 22 June 2026 (CDT)
- There's a few things:
- The claim was put on the article based simply on Mephistomon appearing for half a second in the stinger of an episode weeks ago. That's the main reason I'm calling it out.
- While it's Toei page doesn't use the "Partner" language, Elizamon is explicitly called out as Haruomi's partner in the episode script. (For reference, Gekkomon and Wizardmon both say they were born from their Owner's Sapotama, Pristimon calls it Reina's partner without using the official term, Pandamon states that it shared cups of the "parent-child bond" with Sasatake, Mephismon's blurb states specifically that it "works with Miharu to rewrite the world's code", Tactics Team One and the "Other Digimon" lists don't state anything at all regarding relationships, and all other Digimon explicitly state "X's Partner", using the katakana word.
- We have seen other Digimon evolve by consuming e-Pulse from non-Partners, such as Hyemon and Scorpiomon.
- The episode script for Twisted Code makes a point of having the characters explicitly call out that Miharu isn't Mephistomon's Owner. If I had to guess, I'd say that it's probably tied to why Mephistomon's voice is more similar to Chifuyu's after evolution, but that's speculation.
While there are some things that are circumstantially suggestive (being placed on Miharu's Toei page, using her e-Pulse to evolve to Mephistomon), it's not explicit and there are counterexamples like Scorpiomon that, in my opinion, undermine that claim. I don't think the wiki should be asserting that Miharu and Mephistomon are Partners until we see a more clearcut statement (hopefully next episode).KrytenKoro06 (talk) 10:16, 23 June 2026 (CDT)
