Not literally everything. Evolution conditions like Lv. and other restrictions still matter, and Duskmon can't turn anything White. That's why I made the relevant edits to this page already. Instead of listing literally every card under each color, I listed "Any Lv.[insert Lv. here] Digimon from the Digimon Card Game" with a note explaining Duskmon's effect. And, did a similar edit for the "Also Evolves From" section. I also went through other relevant pages and editted them, like the DigiXros page for Grey Knightsmon, for example. I think I managed to cover everything? But, if I missed something, feel free to let me know. KiraraKidohara (talk) 21:12, 25 May 2024 (CDT)
I mean, as an exmaple: I play Jesmon. So if Duskmon turns my Sistermon Blanc into red - I can now evolve my Blanc into BaoHuckmon (or any red lv4). As a white card, Blanc can now theoretically evolve to every single lv4 in the game? seems youve written a way to just cover it on one line so hmmm, my thought was just if this entire list is now pointless as everything can now become everything because of duskmon (not just the list, but wikimon itself as we now canonically have actual instance of everything can be everything).Muur (talk) 17:07, 27 May 2024 (CDT)
It still can't Evolve into Gizmon: AT, though. And, technically there are several old Hyper Colosseum cards that also let you ignore Evolution Requirements, even Levels. In that case, this list would be just as pointless as listing those Hyper Colosseum card Evos on pages. And, thanks to Evo Items in certain video games, we have other instances of anything being able to Evolve into anything of the next Level. We don't remove the other regular Evos just because there is a work around in those mediums, so idk why we would do so here. It's just a situational exception to the normal Evolution rules. Mugendramon is a good example. Because it can Evolve from anything thanks to the BH Program, that makes its entire "Evolves From" section pointless, too, but we only list that as 1 entry, and still list its other pre-evos as we would for any other Digimon. Multi-Category Search[edit]

Most of the functions of this page should be replicable using Multi-Category Search. The original extension is not supported for the latest releases of mediawiki, so if Wikimon is past the cutoff we may need to find a replacement. concatenating template[edit]

We should probably make some kind of template to shorten the links to this page (although I think we should also think about other methods than using this page). Something like {{cd|g|4}} for "Any Green Lv.4 Digimon from the Digimon Card Game". I'd also like to reiterate my suggestion that these kind of links in the evo sections be separated from non-DCG evos, maybe in a collapsible div, or use a graphic or something to more clearly communicate them. I've been in this fandom for ages, I play the card game, and even I take a minute or two to puzzle out what these bullets mean.KrytenKoro06 (talk) 11:42, 21 August 2026 (CDT)

I agree that this page isn't the cleanest solution, especially with how large (and slow) it has gotten... I'm not tech-savvy enough to understand what exactly you're suggesting... there isnt really a reason they should be "moved to another sectin", evos are evos. and its just being unfair to the tcg and other similar media.Muur (talk) 11:36, 22 August 2026 (CDT)
evos aren't always evos, though. There's stuff like digimon being turned into sukamon, machinesramon, etc, where it's an expansive effect evolution rather than species to species. We don't, for example, list every single Perfect Digimon in the DMCG as evolving to the Ultimates that say stuff like "Triceramon + Perfect Digimon" -- or stuff like "Greymon + red frame Child", etc. (trying to remember them off the top of my head)
most evos in dcg are that type of effect evolution -- taking an entire category. They contrast sharply in spirit from everything else in the section. I get including them, but for the sake of more accurately reporting the spirit to the reader, I think it would help to at least bracket them differently than the rest.KrytenKoro06 (talk) 13:10, 22 August 2026 (CDT)
@Kira -- there are attachments to the software that kuroku could potentially install that would allow it to automatically create categories that are the intersections of other categories, such as level four cards and green cards. If we can get that working, then we wouldn't need this page at all. The main drawbacks are finding a version of the attachment that is still working, and getting kuroku to install it.KrytenKoro06 (talk) 13:11, 22 August 2026 (CDT)
