Of course not. It wasn't called Dark in the original 2002 game, wasn't it? And it was only a recolor, and Dark Maildramon basically has a different set of wings with a (presumingly) different attribute. Plus the color scheme is overall different to be consider it's own subspecies. Why the one from DW3 had no page of it's own before is a thing I do honestly wonder.

It is the same case of Guardromon, it had different coloring, but probably only due to some characteristic of the game/console or just inicial coloring changed by the time.Sam (talk) 11:49, 25 October 2020
