The effect on Black War Greymon's Digicore due to the X-Antibody Its negative power has been condensed to its maximum, accelerating its cunning to seize victory by any means necessary. The toughness of its "Dramon Killers" has been raised to their strongest, comparable to that of the "Brave Shield", and so it now possesses perfected equipment that unite both offense and defense. Due to its fighting style, in which it instantly plunges into the heart of the enemy with the verniers it has equipped to its back, which boast explosive acceleration at the expense of its ability to fly for extended periods, it has truly become the strongest form of ground combat Digimon, a "Land War Hero". Evading its "Hades Force", where it continuously fires its Special Move "Ankoku no Gaia Force" at ultra-high speed, seems to be impossible. However, the original intent for Black War Greymon (X-Antibody) was not for it to be a simple palette swap. When As'maria was initially given the task of designing the species, he was instructed to add Japanese "flair" to the design. A rough concept sketch of the design that he drew—a Japanese-style dual-wielding swordsman—was so well-received by As'maria's colleagues that they instead chose to adopt the design as a new, standalone Digimon species in its own right: Gaioumon. A consequence of this decision is that Black War Greymon (X-Antibody) was instead made a palette swap of War Greymon (X-Antibody).
