Talk:Shademon (Haruko Ver.)
From Wikimon
Why does this page exist?[edit]
At no point is Haruko and Shademon's combination stated to be a different Digimon. It's treated as just a thing Shademon can do in the episode itself. I get in the Xros Wars manga it was a DigiXros so it getting a separate page makes sense there (and the Luminamon DigiXros gets a proper name) but here there's nothing stating this to be a Digimon and not just a facet of Shademon's Kill Me. If it gets treated as such in a later game or added to the DRB or even gets an anime profile like other Beatbreak Digimon have, then sure, but that's not the case as of now. --Blaze Dragon (talk) 14:44, 7 December 2025 (CST)
- supposedly they state its a fusion in the episode itself? thats what kryten said. but also, yes, consistency with nene. you either delete nene too, or keep this one too. its the same exact thing.Muur (talk) 20:52, 7 December 2025 (CST)
- It is not the exact same thing. Shademon in the manga didn't just do that, it was a DigiXros, which is a process whose specific purpose is creating new Digimon. Understanding this distinction is presumably why there aren't pages for SkullKnightmon riding DarkMaildramon just because Cavalier Mode exists, or a page for SymbareAngoramon wielding Zubamon because X4S/X5S exist. The process matters even if the result is superficially similar. Within the episode, it was portrayed as a natural extension of Shademon's abilities using Kill Me, which puts it closer to something like GDZ or Zephagamon Ace, which the wiki does not treat as distinct Digimon because no official material actually treats them that way. - That's what I was trying to explain but SpiderAppreciator put it much better than I could. --Blaze Dragon (talk) 11:34, 17 December 2025 (CST)
