Talk:Olympos XII

  • Marsmon: "Tri Knuckle" and "Metal Korutonosu"
  • Mercurymon: "Aztec"/"Azteca"
  • Minervamon: "Olympia"
  • Neptunemon: "King's Bite"
  1. I'm not sure if Mercurymon's dagger should be "Aztec" or "Azteca", especially considering the "Olympia" bit.
  2. Based on the theme of Mercurymon and Minervamon's weapons, I think it could be possible to figure out Marsmon's second weapon.KrytenKoro06 05:03, 10 July 2010 (UTC)

Olympos XII[edit]

Olympos XII is apparently the official romanization, per XW manga ch 21. I'm going to be busy correcting all the appearances on Wikia, can someone fix them here? I can try running AWB later if you guys need.KrytenKoro06 22:56, 18 March 2012 (CDT)

Considering the manga isn't known for it's... even remotely sensible romanizations (the artist apparently white the word "white" starts with an "H"), and not dictated by Bandai, it's probably best to leave the spelling here as-is.--devkyu 04:47, 19 March 2012 (CDT)
Olympos is perfectly fine, since that's how it's written in Greek.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 07:54, 19 March 2012 (CDT)
I agree. Can we implement this?KrytenKoro06 21:10, 3 July 2012 (CDT)
Do you guys have AWB enabled? That could be used to implement it. This should be closed out soon.KrytenKoro06 12:03, 3 February 2013 (CST)
Well, a few things to consider: How many pages do we have to change if with move it, is XW manga (its only instance of romanization) a reliable enough source for spellings, and considering that the digimon in the group are named after the Roman rather than Greek counterparts, would the Latinized Olympus be better than the more Greek language accurate Olympos.--devkyu 15:08, 23 May 2013 (CDT)
As far as I know, Olympos XII is the only romanization of the group we've ever gotten, and the individual Digimon names are more using the English names for the Roman gods, rather than the Roman names. As far as performing the change, AWB can handle it pretty easily.KrytenKoro06 (talk) 21:43, 23 July 2013 (CDT)

Bacchusmon's animal basis[edit]

I'm not sure if the animal themes are explicitly mentioned in any official sources, or if it's all just observation, but if Bacchusmon's modeled after snakes, wouldn't that overlap with Minervamon? Upon taking a closer look, I think Bacchusmon may have been based off of a worm, since they're known for their voracious appetites (and often spoiling fruit crops because of it). The pink coloring might support this as well.--Yamato-san (talk) 14:45, 5 February 2019 (CST)
