Field Membership[edit]
After much argument and discussion on the wiki Discord, and much consideration on my part, it's been decided that not every Digimon included in this set will be automatically treated as belonging to the Dragon's Roar Field, since generally not all of the cards in a set pertain to the set's title, which would seem to be the case here with Ganimon and other Digimon who have never been considered dragons in any other context. I'm about to edit the affected Digimon pages to reflect this. --TMS (talk) 16:18, 1 July 2022 (EST)

- Just my two cents, I agree with Muur that them belonging to the set should mean something, but on another hand, it's true that not every set is a 100% thematic on a single topic, so it would need to be decided each case individually based on intuition rather than facts, which would be problematic. --Shadow Shinji (talk) 18:38, 1 July 2022 (CDT)
- a relevant point is guilmon being deep savers which makes less sense than crabmon as dragon's roar. digimon end up in random ass fields all the time and just going oh crabmon isnt a dragon so were dqing all digimon from this set is ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhMuur (talk) 18:40, 1 July 2022 (CDT)
- Just to be clear, while Ganimon was used as an example, the primary reason is the fact that not every Digimon in a set can be automatically considered relevant to the set's title. More explicit confirmation is necessary. Currently, acceptable sources for Fields include the original card game, the Card Game Alpha, the v-pets that the Fields were named after, Digimon Adventure and derivative material, Digimon Savers: Another Mission, the Pendulum Z, Digimon Super Rumble, and any reports on the subject made by the official website. If anyone wants to weigh in, assigning Fields to Digimon based on their passive skills in the Cyber Sleuth games, the areas in the Xros Loader toy, and/or v-pet names along the lines of "Nu Metal Empire" are still up for debate. --TMS (talk) 21:51, 1 July 2022 (EST)
