NA Origin[edit]
The Dot Puzzle is labeled as "Gaomon", not "DotGaomon" (as is the Agumon one). The only Dot Digimon of japanese origin are DotAgumon, DotFalcomon, DotShineGreymon and DotMirageGaogamon due to their videogame appearances. All the others are exclusive to the NA toyline. - That's a very interesting perspective. My thinking is that if this Digimon has a NA toy that uses this name, and it's essentially the same as the Japanese version, then—given the precedent set by the game-exclusive ones—it should count as well by extension, right? --~~

- There is no japanese DotGaomon, only a japanese Gaomon dot puzzle. The NA figure is a minifigure that's actually called "DotGaomon", not a dot puzzle, so they are not the same figure; they don't even have the same design. Same goes for DotAgumon: the NA figure is called "dotagumon", the japanese figure is a Agumon dot puzzle, and both have different designs. Regarding DotLala/Kuda/Kame, like DotGao (and unlike DotAgu/Falco/ShineG/MirageG), they are not featured in any japanese product or media; their only appearance is in the same NA-exclusive minifigure line, and their pages already stated this. DotGaomon's page was the only one that needed changing. ShikaSS (talk)
- You're right, they are very similar, but not identical. My bad. Anyway, I just checked the page, and the Digimon being covered is the one from the North American toy, which is actually called Dot Gaomon. The only reference to the Japanese dot puzzle is in the current profile, where it mentions that the two look similar. The image, debut information, and everything else all refer to the North American toy, so I don't really see the issue beyond that.
