Digimon Xros Wars[edit]

Aren't some of the guys from this season Chosen Children too? At least Taiki (Omegamon/Wizardmon), Kiriha (Bagramon), and Yuu/Kotone (DarkKnightmon). --Shadow Shinji (talk) 16:37, 28 February 2017 (CST)

Dark Spore Children names[edit]

What’s the source for these names Sasaki Yukio, Kakudo Hiroko? - Red Duel (talk) 06:38, 16 January 2019 (CST)

Episode 46 of 02. In a piece of paper listing the names and addresses of the Dark Spore children, there are five names including these two. However, they are the only ones we have a name but no face to attribute it to, as the writers only bothered with four of the 20 children. In fact, these two children names are just references to the singer Yukio Sasaki and 02 director Hiroyuki Kakudō himself. Anime... PAWĀ!!! 14:32, 16 January 2019 (UTC)

Confusion Regarding the Numbering of Chosen Children[edit]

There seems to be some confusion regarding the fact that the number of Chosen Children have been doubling every year since 1996. This article mentions this would have to start in 1995 to match up with the series numbering, however, I don't believe that is correct. Based on the directors tweet cited in this article and the picture to go along with it, the doubled numbers are supposed to be added up to the total from the previous year. So for example, there was 1 in 1996, then 2 new Chosen Children in 1997 (one of which has to be Menoa), which means there were 3 in total. Skipping ahead there were 8 new Chosen in 1999 (Taichi's group) and a total of 15. As seen in the tweet I mentioned there were 64 new Chosen Children in 2002 (including Daisuke, Miyako, and Iori), with the total being 127. By 2010 there would be in total 32,767, which matches what Mimi says in the short. Miyako states in "The Beginning" that there were over 60,000, which given the movie takes place early in the year, wouldn't necessarily contradict it, as by the end of 2011 there would be 65,535, so it's possible the number hadn't surpassed the total by that point. So I think the notes about the numbering being off need to be removed as they directly contradict the tweet sourced. Xm0c (talk) 14:03, 15 June 2024 (CDT)

it *does* say "This is inconsistent however, as if this were the case there should be 120,000 (though as the movie takes place in February, there could be 120,000 by December)."Muur (talk) 16:47, 15 June 2024 (CDT)
Yes, however I was referring to the section under "Digimon Adventure original continuity", as that is where the line about starting in 1995 is. Xm0c (talk) 18:06, 15 June 2024 (CDT)
