This card is restricted to 1 copy as of the 2024 August 23 banlist, taking effect on 2024 August 31 (around the tail end of the BT-18 format). The stated reasoning was: By repeatedly activating non-Once per Turn effects like [BT6-088 Ishida Yamato] using this card's When Played effect, the game speed has rapidly accelerated and created a situation where many decks can't keep up. A variety of decks are implementing counterplay for this specific combination, causing decks heavily impacted by this counterplay to perform worse and the diversity of decks in use to narrow. For the above reasons, we have decided to restrict this card to 1 copy. References:
