This card is restricted to 1 copy as of the 2025 August 23 banlist, taking effect on 2025 September 1 (around the tail end of the BT-22 format). The stated reasoning was: Combining this card with [Royal Knights] that have powerful effects besides their When Played gives [Royal Knights] decks a much higher win rate than anticipated, and the design space for non-When Played effects on [Royal Knights] cards is narrowing. Also, the Security effect has a high return on investment, reversing the [Royal Knights] archetype's original poor matchup against beatdown decks, and the impact of a single copy of this card is extremely high, so we have determined that it is necessary to restore the original matchups. For the above reason, we have decided to restrict this card to 1 copy. References:
