Talk:Unique Emblem
So I didn't put it on the page because I don't know if it will bring anything more because it remains shaky and theoretical but until now each Unique Emblem presented had a link with the Ultimate level of the main digimon of the person using the emblem. I mean :
- Yuuki's Emblem even if there is a musical indication, the shape itself of the emblem recalls the body of Heavy Metaldramon (the central tip is the tail, the crest with the heart is the chest, we have wings on the sides, in short you have the general idea.)
- Owen's Emblem recalls a slender and thin silhouette, quite feminine and with elements reminiscent of horns or draconic elements in general, with the teasing of Elizamon's Perfect and Ultimate forms in chapter 8, this idea is quite confirmed with the digimon that looks like a Gorgon.
- Shoto's Emblem is a symbol found on Zephagamon's body, on his wings.
I'm not going to talk about Violet's because despite the fact that there is a good chance that the entire Ghostmon lineage is composed of new digimons (Ghostmon is the only digimon combining the Ghost type with the Data Attribute so if we keep things consistent, we need an Adult Ghost Data level, a Perfect Ghost Data level and an Ultimate Ghost Data which currently do not exist.), we currently have no silhouette of Ghostmon's Ultimate level.
After that, as I say, it's pretty shaky because I may see what I want to see and not the true meaning of the emblems.
And for you, am I digressing or not?--NoxShiningmon (talk) 06:34, 26 December 2024 (CST)
Unique Emblem from Novel Character -> LV7 for the novel partenairs ?[edit]
Hey... So, with the addition of unique emblem cards for the novel characters, and especially since the cards have the same effects as the classic cards—namely, "evolve a Level 6 Digimon with the Liberator trait to Level 7 with a reduced cost of 3"—doesn't that clearly tell us that we should expect to see Level 7 versions of Impmon, Funbeemon, Yukidarumon, Espimon, Hanimon, and Tyranomon appear in the later chapters of Liberator? (Especially since the pixelated image in part 2 of chapter 22 shows, I suppose, Yuuki, but also a Digimon behind her that looks neither like Beelzemon nor HeavyMetaldramon.)--NoxShiningmon (talk) 10:58, 15 January 2026 (CST)
- the fatal flaw with this thinking is that not only are these not in the set itself, as the emblem cards being in the set is a requisite for the lvl 7, but more importantly this is implied grande finale and we’re unlikely to get any new Liberator cards after this and we were told we’d be getting Pteromon’s lvl 7, not Xenith or the novel casts’ so story wise it makes no sense for this to be a lvl 7 for Impmon unless we’re ending in March Chimera-gui (talk) 12:35, 15 January 2026 (CST)
- The Unique Emblems for the novel characters not have that effect. Their evolution effect caps at level 6 unlike the comic characters, which would imply they will not get a level 7 at all. --Blaze Dragon (talk) 13:39, 15 January 2026 (CST)
Emblems[edit]
Some of the translations are wonky or miss intentional puns (I've covered this with TMS previously). Honeycomb Commander is a big one.
Also, where is Zeniths emblem named?KrytenKoro06 (talk) 10:35, 13 May 2026 (CDT)
- "All named Unique Emblems follow the same naming pattern: a kanji name (formed as a two-word phrase broken by a の) with furigana that gives it a forced English reading (two words long) that doesn't match the kanji." Is also wrong. While some are forced, many of them are direct or otherwise valid translations.KrytenKoro06 (talk) 10:37, 13 May 2026 (CDT)
- Also, the appearances section is pretty difficult to read. Id *strongly* recommend taking a look at tfwiki or digipedia for "character or object is used in the same basic way repeatedly over many appearances", similar to the crests. Shoving in so much content about the repetitive, mundane uses of the emblems leaves less focus on the actual plot importance of them as part of unchaineds plan.
- "novel emblem" isn't in the cited source (anymore, at least).
- Finally, the bit about the system being based on Close is fundamental to what the emblems are, with huge implications that lead to her kidnapping, so should be part of the initial explanation not hidden in the manga synopsis.KrytenKoro06 (talk) 10:50, 13 May 2026 (CDT)
