From Wikimon

So..."Demon Slaying Staff".

From the kanji, it appears it should be some variation of "Precipitation Bewitching Staff"

Based on his watery element and attacks, I would nudge the translation to "Rain Bewitching Staff" - technically, the kanji for Rain as a noun isn't used, but the kanji for the verb used for "to rain" is. Basically, the staff magically calls the rain.KrytenKoro06 09:07, 26 May 2009 (UTC)

AAAnd I was wrong. Anyway. About the dub attacks, where do they come from? Hydro Descent is mentioned in the analyzer, but he only uses Taki no Jin in the original anime.KrytenKoro06 17:03, 30 August 2010 (UTC)

Xuanwumon?[edit]

Where exactly does that info come from? MugenSeiRyuu

Has been cleared.

Convolution[edit]

In Journey to the West, Sha Wujing's weapon is a Crescent Moon Spade (月牙鏟 Yuèyáchǎn}} named "Xiángyāo Zhàng" (降妖杖 lit. "Monster Subduing Staff"). In Japanese, these are read as "Getsugasan" (月牙産) and "Kouyoujou" (降妖杖). Although "Getsugazan" literally means "Moon Fang Slash" (月牙斬 Getsugazan), it is a pun on "Getsugasan", and is meant to be read "Crescent Moon Slash" (月牙鏟 Yuèyáchǎnzhǎn), as if it was in Chinese.KrytenKoro06 20:05, 30 August 2010 (UTC)

降妖杖[edit]

Should we transliterate this as "Xiángyāo Zhàng" or continue to use "Kouyoujou"?--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 07:31, 24 August 2011 (CDT)
