DORU Series

Can someone confirm Dorumon as being a "remnant" of the DORU Series? According to what I could understand from Digimon Chronicle, what is actually being said is that the "Doru" part of Dorumon's name is reminiscent of the term "DORU Series".

(The "DORU" in DORUmon seems to be a remnant of the term "DORU-series" (Digimon Or Unknown-Monsters) that was used in experiments?) Pretty much yeah, the 'DORU' was meant to be some sort of reference/homage to the DORU-series involved in previous experiments, but it doesn't explicitly confirm that DORUmon was part of the DORU-series. --Garmmon (talk) 23:21, 25 August 2018 (CDT)
