Because the Code Crown is located inside Whamon, "King" is probably a title in this case, signifying that it is the ruler of Island Zone, rather than being a separate Digimon. The difference is that this is used in katakana, rather than with hiragana like "Sukamon Daioh" or "Whamon-sama". The only similarly named character I can think of is "KingEtemon", who is clearly a separate Digimon species.KrytenKoro06 14:30, 23 August 2010 (UTC)

Whamon (Xros Wars) should probably have a standard Digimon page

I've seen no evidence that King Whamon is the result of a Xros between Whamon and some other digital lifeform. Also, the fact that King Whamon is officially introduced as such is also evidence that it is some subspecies of Whamon, rather than the result of a Xros.
