Talk:Dorulumon
Hi, I just want to contribute if I can... I have a feeling that "Doruru" may be the sound of drilling, much like "Garuru" being a growling sound. I searched all around, even when places translated do and ruru separately, nothing adds up not even in any words that could match up in English. It's the only thing I can think of it being - unless there's some misspelling which sometimes happens on Bandai/Toei's part and it's actually "Dorirumon" meaning "Drill Monster" craigbrowndap
EDIT: I researched a little more and I don't know if this will sound a bit complex, maybe I'm just thinking too far into this... Dorurumon is a wolf type, with drills on him. "Doriru" is "Drill" romanized and "Urufu" is "Wolf" romanized... So, what if they have merged the two together using the "Dor-ru" from Drill and merged it with the "Uru" from Wolf - it would make a lot of sense. craigbrowndap
Near as I can find by searching, "Dorulu" is the onomatopoeia for that rhythmical thumping noise when you punch a punching bag.
It's also used to represent "d'Aurelle"
