Talk:Cres Garurumon

From Wikimon

Given that this Digimon is obviously connected to BlitzGreymon through Omegamon Alter-S, it's possible that the クーレス in its name is derived from the German adjective Kühles, for "cold" or "chilly". BlitzGreymon and KühlesGarurumon... how does that sound? AmrasFelagund (talk) 00:29, 18 May 2017 (CDT)

Greymons Name is Blitz, which is also German and his attacks are electricity themed, to fit the name. If this Garurumon had a German name that fits its element then "Kühles" would certainly make sense since it's attacks seem to be ice themed too. --XrosBlade (talk) 06:38, 18 May 2017 (CDT)

After some research as to why it's attack was translated as "Golden Beast Crescent Blade", since it seems to be based on the [|Green Dragon Crescent Blade] (which would be nice to know on the main page too, maybe it should be added as extra information at the bottom?), I'd like to ask if anyone knows why it was translated as "Golden" instead of "Yellow"? Since the Kanji in 黄獣偃月刀 is 黄 meaning yellow. --J3rry1ce 22:56, 26 July 2017 (CEST)

黄 can sometimes be implied to be golden (I went with that because of Cres's colour), but yellow is the literal translation and yea I guess it fits the Green Dragon Crescent Blade theme better. Thanks for pointing it out! --Garmmon (talk) 01:43, 27 July 2017 (CDT)
