A Partition 「パーティション Pātishon」 refers to when a Jogress Digimon is seperated into its component Digimon.
In Digimon Adventure V-Tamer 01, Saiba Neo used a strategy of Jogressing and Partitioning his Digimon during a battle to constantly heal them, thus wearing his opponent down.
