A Partition 「パーティション Pātishon」 refers to when a Jogress Digimon is seperated into its component Digimon.

Saiba Neo and Fujimoto Hideto used a strategy of Jogressing and Partitioning their Digimon during a battle to constantly heal them, thus wearing his opponent down. However, this also drained their Digimon's HP.

BT-16 Beginning Observer introduced Partition to the game. Only Digimon that have the Jogress keyword may have this keyword. Partition allows Digimon that fit the requirements specified in the keyword itself to be played from the Partitioned Digimon's Evolution Base without paying their cost if it's removed from the Battle Area other than by the player's own effects or by battle. It can only be activated if every Digimon specified in the keyword exists in the Partitioned Digimon's Evolution Base.
