This card is restricted to 1 copy as of the 2025 March 17 banlist, taking effect on 2025 March 28 (around the tail end of the BT-20 format). The stated reasoning was: As the various [Hybrid] decks have gotten stronger, it has become possible to easily evolve into [Ancient Greymon]/[Ancient Garurumon] without relying on the gimmicks of cards such as [BT17-011 Agnimon] and [BT17-022 Wolfmon], and the speed and consistency of these decks is increasing much faster than expected. As a result, there is no reason to use other level 6s such as [Kaiser Greymon] and [Magna Garurumon], and the design space of [Hybrid] decks is narrowing. For the above reasons, we have decided to restrict this card to 1 copy. References:
