Digimon Xros Wars Original Digimon Contest
The Digimon Xros Wars Original Digimon Contest (デジモンクロスウォーズ オリジナルデジモンコンテスト, Dejimon Kurosu Wōzu Orijinaru Dejimon Kontesuto) refers to two Digimon design contests held in connection with the Digimon Xros Wars anime series between 2011 and 2012. The winning submissions were adapted into official Digimon species and featured in material related to the series.
First Contest[edit]
The first contest was held during the broadcast of Digimon Xros Wars: The Evil Death Generals and the Seven Kingdoms in 2011. Its results were revealed in the October 2011 issue of V Jump, released on August 21, 2011. The winning Digimon were subsequently featured in the eyecatches of the anime's final episodes.
Five submissions were selected. The design submitted for Ganemon also included Zenimon and Kozenimon, resulting in a total of seven Digimon species. Bacomon, Ekakimon, and Ganemon later received appearances within the story of Digimon Xros Wars: The Young Hunters Who Leapt Through Time.

Second Contest[edit]
The second contest was held during the broadcast of Digimon Xros Wars: The Young Hunters Who Leapt Through Time, which ran from October 2011 to March 2012. It was formally titled the "Opponents I'll Fight!" Chosen by Gumdramon Original Digimon Contest (ガムドラモンが選んだ“オレが戦う相手！”オリジナルデジモンコンテスト, Gumudoramon ga Eranda "Ore ga Tatakau Aite!" Orijinaru Dejimon Kontesuto).
Participants were invited to create original Digimon that could serve as opponents for Gumdramon. Three designs were selected, all of which appeared in the episode "The Amusement Park of Dreams, Digimon Land!", broadcast on February 26, 2012.
