The Digimon Asia Cup is a tournament that is hosted by the Asian Branch of Bandai to determine the "strongest Digimon Tamer".
2002 Digimon Asia Cup[edit]
The tournament consisted on winning a series of battles and obtaining the "ID Numbers" from opponents you have defeated, the Tamer who managed to get the most was qualified to advance to the next stage.
As of September 30th 2021, an user of the Official Digimon Partners site made a post claiming to have participated in this event using an Omegamon from the Pendulum Ver.ZERO, but they also claim that they lost in the second round of the tournament.
The tournament was held in the Kanto and Kansai prefecture, those who managed to qualify moved to Hong Kong.
