Digimon Adventure:[edit]

A group of Budmon, along with some Woodmon and a Lopmon are inhabitants of a jungle that is attacked by Tankdramon and two groups of Allomon and Megadramon in "Escape the Burning Jungle". They were saved by Taichi, Metal Greymon: Alterous Mode, Sora and Garudamon.

Two Budmon appear as customers in the haven for travelling Digimon in "Jyagamon, Potato Hell".

A Budmon is part of a village formed by Digimon whose own villages were destroyed by Zanbamon before "The Gold Wolf of the Crescent Moon".

After Negamon was finally defeated in "The End of the Adventure", Lopmon, on top of a Jyureimon, with both the red and his grey Komondomon sleeping behind them, told a group of Budmon and Woodmon how the world where humans live was beyond the sky, past the Network, and that was where the Chosen Children came from. Woodmon then asked if it was to protect them, but Leomon, who was with a Bearmon, several yellow and a rare Pickmon, and two Yukimi Botamon, thought that they came to the Digital World to become their friends. One of the Yukimi Botamon was confused about this, and Leomon clarified that they fought in order to protect their friends, which made the Yukimi Botamon want to go to the Real World. The Yukimi Botamon then asked Leomon what happened to the Chosen Children after that, and Leomon answered that they finished their mission and returned to the Real World, and would no longer go back to the Digital World, though he corrected himself on that since it may happen after all. Another Budmon accompanied Strabimon, alongside the other Digimon of the village: Mojyamon, some yellow and a rare Pickmon, a Kotemon and a Gizamon, when he left flowers in the graves of his fallen compatriots.

Digimon World Re:Digitize Decode[edit]

A Budmon in the Village of Beginnings tells Taiga that it misses its Grandfather, who had gone to the Ancient Bone Swamp. It asks Taiga to help it evolve so that it could become strong enough to travel to the Swamp to visit him, as the meat it eats from the meat farm wasn't enough to help it evolve. It asks Taiga to get it a Digimushroom, its favorite food, and after he gives one to the Budmon it eats it and warp evolves to Woodmon.

A Budmon in the Meat Farm asks Taiga to stop a Digimon that's been charring the meat at night, as it can't stay up that late. After stopping Tyranomon, who was responsible for that, that Budmon evolves into Agumon thanks to eating meat and, with the knowledge it obtained, cooks a Well Done Meat for Taiga once per day.

A Budmon in the Item Warehouse finds the Ice-Water Digimon at Powdery Cliff beautiful and wants to see one. If Taiga shows it an Ice-Water Partner Digimon, it goes speechless at its beauty, then evolves into Yuki Agumon, gaining the snowy skin it was longing for.

A Yuramon is amazed at Guilmon's statue close to the Colosseum and wants to make one itself but doubted it could. When Taiga assured it, it got excited and evolved into Budmon, though it considered that evolution not good enough and too far from art so it went on a journey. It then evolved into Gomamon off-screen (shown through a Digitter message) through the power of art.

Budmon evolves from from Yuramon and can evolve to Lalamon, Piyomon, Palmon, Wormmon, and Betamon.
