Merge the two Minotaurmon pages?[edit]

Maybe the two Minotaurmon pages could be merged? The level of several other Digimon from Ver. S was also changed, though for Minotaurmon it happened a bit later. It has generally been Adult level since late 1999 if I'm not mistaken. --Grandy02 09:15, 6 January 2012 (CST)

Since they both have separate evolutions and appearances, keep them separate. It's similar to Whamon and Whamon (Perfect).--devkyu 21:26, 4 April 2012 (CDT)
I think that Whamon is a different story, since even Whamon Perfect's profile makes a mention of the level difference, and the Adult version continued to appear in Digimon media. Though I have to admit that Minotaurmon's level change is more complex than that of Ebidramon and Mechanorimon, for example, who were Perfects in Ver. S, but never again. The only medium that featured both versions of Minotaurmon simultaneously was the original card game, but I personally think they still could be merged. Just my humble opinion, of course. --Grandy02 09:10, 5 April 2012 (CDT)
I think the issue here is similar to Tailmon's situation, where Tailmon is normally Adult level but is Child when loses the Holy Ring. On that note, I think the two Minotaurmon pages SHOULD be merged, but I'd also like to point out that there should be more than just listing its level as both Adult and Perfect, that the picture for the Adult version should be specified. Also, I'd like to also apply this idea to Tailmon as well, as it is not very clear that the picture of it without the Holy Ring at the bottom of the page is actually its Child form. Hopefully someone can do some sort of format change here?
tl;dr, I agree with merging the two Minotaurmon pages. --Jun (talk) 02:41, 8 October 2014 (CDT)
I believe that both of the variant pages for Minotaurmon should be merged as there are so few differences between them beyond Level, same with Whamon as well. This was done on the Digimon wikia for both with little difficulty and I see no reason why it can't be done here. Chimera-gui (talk) 17:53, 20 February 2017 (CST)
The difference with Whamon is that its profile explicitly states that it differs from it Adult-level counterpart. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 10:42, 24 March 2017 (CDT)
I feel like the line was included solely to justify treating Whamon as both an Adult and a Perfect simultaneously since it also explicitly states that the Adult and Perfect variants are the same species. Chimera-gui (talk) 11:24, 24 March 2017 (CDT)
The DRB has jossed this, indicating these should also be kept separate.KrytenKoro06 (talk) 13:12, 23 January 2018 (CST)
I fully agree with keeping the two Whamon pages as even Whamon Perfect's profile acknowledges the difference. But I still don't think Minotaurmon Adult needs a separate page just because of the Hyper Colosseum cards. Even the (uncut) DRB profile is essentially the same as the original Ver. S profile. --Grandy02 (talk) 09:16, 24 January 2018 (CST)
Having the cards as a reason also brings in other media though: Digimon Masters has four Shoutmons, each a different level and if we want to discount western only games, Cyber Sleuth has Examon as a Mega, but Ultra in Hackers Memory. This is the same universe. the evolutions are different entirely. whamon has two profiles in the DRB which is fair - but this guy shoulnd't be treated as two mons imo. if he does... then maybe we should have five Shoutmon pages.Muur (talk) 03:18, 8 January 2019 (CST)

Xros Wars[edit]

Just to confirm, we're assuming that's the Perfect Minotaurmon due to the Loaders, right?KrytenKoro06 (talk) 09:36, 9 January 2019 (CST)

Do we know that the Minotaurmon in the Xros Loader is Perfect-level? This, I think, is one of the problems with having separate pages for the Adult and Perfect Minotaurmon. You can't always be sure which is which. --TMS (talk) 14:10, 9 January 2019 (EST)
The Xros loader page states Minotarumon in the Xros Loader is a boss exclusive Digimon (NPC), so I'm not sure how we're supposed to know what level it is there. Considering how little the Ultimate is used, Champion is a safe bet.Muur (talk) 13:48, 9 January 2019 (CST)
