Sure pleasures all mine, Im sorry if this isn't how you reply messages in Wikimon, Its my first time using this site and helping out.

Pickmons and Lilithmon[edit]

Is there any chance you could modify the Lilithmon Toei image to only have the front view, and would you be able to edit the Pickmons toei image to separate out each Pickmon?KrytenKoro06 21:30, 17 August 2010 (UTC)

I can separate out the Pickmons, but I can't do the front view of Liilthmon as several parts of it are blocked by the back view profile, especially her left wing. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 23:19, 17 August 2010 (UTC)

You. Are. Some kind of sorcerer. THANK YOU.KrytenKoro06 23:50, 17 August 2010 (UTC)

(Also, I will be shamelessly yoinking these for the Digimon Wiki, as always).

Here is your Lilithmon. Sorry for any mess-ups in editing, my screen is on its last legs and blurry as hell at the moment and really dim. --devkyu 01:56, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
File:MadLeomon (Orochi Mode) t.gif is up. I'm guessing you're going to change it into a jpg like the others, so I left the article alone so you could just reupload the image over it without having to edit the article itself. Could you also upload it to Digimon Wiki when you get it done? Thanks!KrytenKoro06 02:44, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
Thanks! By the way, in the mosaic clean I did, it turns out that the thing under Dondoko-Shoutmon is Troopmon.KrytenKoro06 02:55, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
By any chance, could you give a whack at these?
Thanks, friend!KrytenKoro06 12:44, 18 October 2010 (UTC)
Also also, if you get time could you transcribe Sparrowmon's profile? I'm trying to catch up on the profile's, and that's the only Xros Wars one I have left, unless there were more 2ch leaks.KrytenKoro06 21:53, 3 November 2010 (UTC)
Sorry its taken so long, I'll also try to put up Revolmon and the alternate Evilmon artwork later on today.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 12:19, 4 November 2010 (UTC)
Oh dude, no! No, I know how much work you do around here, I'm not at all trying to suggest slacking of any sort. I'm the one who's slacking, tacking so long to do the dictionary profiles.KrytenKoro06 14:55, 4 November 2010 (UTC)
I've managed to crop some Bandai images from the Xros Navigator poster:
At some point, I'll see if I crop Troopmon, Rhinomon, Missimon and Sealsdramon's Toei art.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 15:22, 11 November 2010 (UTC)
The Chibickmon toei art from XW17 - 1) Has that appeared any where more rippable, and 2) if not, is there any way to crop it from the episode itself?KrytenKoro06 22:42, 23 November 2010 (CST)
I could crop it from the episode, I just need to find a raw.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 22:56, 23 November 2010 (CST)
Although the image of Lucemon SM has an uncolored Gehenna sphere, I've created this using the pre-existing image of it.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 17:02, 25 November 2010 (CST)
Do you think I should upload future Toei images as pngs rather than jpeg?--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 17:00, 30 November 2010 (CST)
I guess so. I mean, if we could get them all as one type or the other, that would be ideal. Honestly, if it's not too much trouble, I'd prefer .gifs out of all of them, since nearly all of the high quality Toei images from previous seasons are .gifs, and THB coded our episode templates to use them by default.KrytenKoro06 19:20, 30 November 2010 (CST)

Thanks!KrytenKoro06 08:44, 15 December 2010 (CST)

Could you also do GranLocomon, Deckerdramon (Blue Flare), Deckerdramon (Forest Zone), and Gargomon? Thanks!KrytenKoro06 10:59, 29 December 2010 (CST)

I'm working on GrandLocomon now, do you still want me to do Kougoumon as a gif?--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 15:44, 29 December 2010 (CST)
Only if you want to - the current jpg is satisfactory for now.KrytenKoro06 16:18, 29 December 2010 (CST)
Any chance you could do .gifs for the toei-site images that haven't been cropped yet, like Tsuwamon?KrytenKoro06 13:41, 10 March 2011 (CST)
Do you want me to make .gifs of the patissiere WaruMonzaemon and zombified Raremon as well?--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 15:03, 10 March 2011 (CST)
Sorry for interfering, but I already cropped Matadrmon and Tsuwamon (hopefully it looks well). However, I used png rather than gif. --Grandy02 15:28, 10 March 2011 (CST)
It would probably be a good idea.
Hmm...I think I'm going to create a gallery in my userspace that replicates the Toei site's gallery. That way we can keep better track of this, and I'm not being needy at you all the time.KrytenKoro06 15:46, 10 March 2011 (CST)
What file type should we be using for all of the toei images? A lot are Jpeg, a chunk are Gif, and a few are Png. --devkyu 16:14, 10 March 2011 (CST)
I think .gif would be best, as that was what is used for the previous series. if you guys could get .gifs of the most recent Toei images in particular, I would greatly appreciate it.KrytenKoro06 16:32, 21 March 2011 (CDT)
New set (Omnimon left out, since it is a low-quality version of existing .gif). Can you get .gif's of these?

Could you possibly modify the image for Shoutmon X5B into a .gif that uses the full sword from the X5 image?KrytenKoro06 04:07, 17 April 2011 (CDT)

Double-checking[edit]

I've just uploaded English dub title images for the first three episodes of Digimon Adventure (link), and I thought I should check with you that I'm not doing anything wrong before I make a mess of the whole episode guide. THB Talk 11:47, 19 August 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, it's fine.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 11:49, 19 August 2010 (UTC)

Campaign Cards[edit]

The CP cards are called "Campaign Cards", and if you use them to DigiXros, the resultant Digimon will have an Aura.

http://i33.tinypic.com/335gv2o.jpg

KrytenKoro06 04:19, 25 August 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for the Aura info.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 04:31, 25 August 2010 (UTC)

Shoutmon X3, X4, and Cutemon[edit]

The rest of the asahi profiles seem to pretty much copy the Dictionary profiles, but these three are either unique, or for X4, have some significant changes. Could you grab the Japanese for those, and I can translate them over my lunch-break? If you have the time for that, thanks!KrytenKoro06 13:52, 25 August 2010 (UTC)

Cutemon:

"I hate tears-cu!" (pronounced as in cute, obviously)
  • Technically Shoutmon X4 uses "Starmon+Pickmon", indicating the Star Sword.

Thanks. My own Nihongo font is not working so well, so I would have had to look up every kanji in a radical dictionary.KrytenKoro06 18:44, 25 August 2010 (UTC)

Sorry I'm taking so long on MadLeomon Armed Mode (I think I finally figured out the bit that was stalling me), but if you could get me the new profile for Cutemon, as well as the profiles for ChibiKamemon and Dorulu Cannon, I can get those out of the way too.KrytenKoro06 15:02, 1 September 2010 (UTC)

I've added ChibiKamemon and Cutemon's profiles to their pages, but they are fairly specific to the anime, so it might be necessary to remove them again.KrytenKoro06 20:36, 7 September 2010 (UTC)

I'll start working on whatever there is for the Toei profiles. Thanks!KrytenKoro06 15:43, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
Wait, the Toei profiles are purely anime based, except for Dondokomon, whose profile is just the asahi profile. would it still help if I did them?KrytenKoro06 21:07, 10 September 2010 (UTC)
I think that we should just focus on the Asahi Tv profiles.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 21:30, 10 September 2010 (UTC)
I still need to finish Cutemon's, but do you want me to go ahead and do Tactimon and Chikurimon as well? They are the only 2ch leaks left, I think, and all the others match the dictionary exactly.00:03, 12 September 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, you can do if you want.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 00:57, 12 September 2010 (UTC)

I am so sorry[edit]

I tried to move the Shoutmon + Star Sword article to correct the title, and the target page has the "no data is here" bug, so I think I accidentally deleted the history. I'm going to try to undo the move, but I'm really really sorry.KrytenKoro06 15:35, 26 August 2010 (UTC)

It's fine. The "+" has been really irritatinng, even for simple templates. I'm going to try and find a way to modify $wgLegalTitleChars to allow "+" to be used in article names, despite it being a potential risk.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 17:00, 26 August 2010 (UTC)

More vandalism[edit]

File:Bo-1301.jpgKrytenKoro06 13:21, 10 September 2010 (UTC)

I've got great news[edit]

I actually ran into my old Japanese teacher today, and told him about the Dictionary. He's willing to look at the translations I've done, and check them. Yay!

Also, I started a sandbox of the profiles I've finished so far here. The problem is, a lot of the links are in red, due to the slightly different parsing scheme we have at the Digimon Wiki. I notice you guys already have redirects for most of the DW spellings, so would it be okay if I make redirects for the others? I'll go ahead and correct the images myself, too.KrytenKoro06 02:10, 12 September 2010 (UTC)

Sure!--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 16:11, 12 September 2010 (UTC)
wow! You went ahead and finished that for me. Well, with that setup all finished, I can now e-mail my old teacher. Thanks!KrytenKoro06 12:43, 15 September 2010 (UTC)
No Probs!--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 12:57, 15 September 2010 (UTC)
I got the e-mail sent off, and told him that he can either e-mail me back, or reply on the talk pages. So, if you see a guy start editing the talk pages with corrections to my junk, he's absolutely right.KrytenKoro06 16:52, 16 September 2010 (UTC)

Symbols[edit]

I still have photoshop on my PC, so I'm going to try and redo the DigiMemories myself. However, I wanted to know if it would be possible for you to make some raster images for the crests (w/ Miracles and Fate) and the spirit elements (w/ heaven). I know this is a big request, so if it's a hassle I'll ask someone else. But you're the guy I thought would be able to do it best, so I wanted to ask you first. Thanks!KrytenKoro06 20:30, 13 September 2010 (UTC)

devkyu would probably be a better person to ask.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 20:48, 13 September 2010 (UTC)

Episode titles[edit]

Okay, with the ones that end in verb forms, I'm pretty confident in how we've translated them. However, for XW04, XW06, XW07, and XW12, I'm not as confident, though XW06 and XW07 would sound really weird as nouns, due to using a person as the topic. Due to the noun/verb used for XW04, it could be done either way, but XW12 definitely has to be a noun.

Basically, they sound best the way they are now, I think, but they might be more correct by switching XW04, and possibly XW06 and XW07 to noun forms. What do you think?KrytenKoro06 21:02, 14 September 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, I've found it wierd writing the nouns in those particlar titles as verbs.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 21:35, 14 September 2010 (UTC)

Talk:Blossomon bugged out[edit]

What I meant to add was:

"Blossomon appears to be based off the kaiju, Biolante.

Based on an edit from an IP on the DW - checks out very well, I think."

Problem creating template[edit]

I'm trying to create Template:LvlAppMiscAPU for the new Digimon in episode 12 of Xros Wars, but every time I try to add to it, it just tells me:

"The database did not find the text of a page that it should have found, named "Template:LvlAppMiscAPU" .

This is usually caused by following an outdated diff or history link to a page that has been deleted.

If this is not the case, you may have found a bug in the software. Please report this to an administrator, making note of the URL."

CloneWarrior 18:50, 13 October 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, it's a bug that pops up now and again at random, nothing we can really do to prevent it. Only option is to have an admin delete the page and try remaking it. I just deleted it so you should be good to try and make it again. --devkyu 20:30, 13 October 2010 (UTC)

"New robotic digimon"[edit]

Shoutmon X2 Plus M[edit]

Does the Kamemon card explicitly state that ChibiKamemon is just a Kamemon? Also, could you possibly post a scan?KrytenKoro06 17:40, 20 October 2010 (UTC)

It heavily implies that ChibiKamemon is just a Kamemon. File:DG1-014_back.jpg--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 17:55, 20 October 2010 (UTC)

Greymon image[edit]

The toei image for Xros Wars Greymon has two bars of dust pixels - one to the left, one on top. Every time I try to open the image in paint, its quality degrades, so I was hoping you might be able to fix it without messing up the image, or could tell me which program to use. Thanks!KrytenKoro06 19:17, 25 October 2010 (UTC)

I've fixed it.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 20:02, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
Thanks man you are super awesome.KrytenKoro06 21:34, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
The bandai Lucemon image has a little bar in the bottom left corner, also.KrytenKoro06 03:03, 11 November 2010 (UTC)

KnightChessmon Black[edit]

This image, from the Digimon Masters site, includes a high-quality KnightChessmon Black bandai image. I've done a quick crop from it, but I think my image software (MSPaint, pretty much) degraded the quality of the original, so you might want to use your own if it's better. Thanks!KrytenKoro06 13:48, 29 October 2010 (UTC)

Here you go!--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 16:13, 29 October 2010 (UTC)

Image stuffs :p[edit]

Ok, I didn't transparent this perfectly, but could always zoom in and manually delete the whitish border.

Lilithmon.png

Is there any set reason why images here are all jpeg? i thought it was bizarre since it would give you guys one more opportunity to customize Wikimon pages. For example, the infobox field could use differing divclasses for tiers of characters, etc. It's something I plan to do on WiKirby someday. Axiomist 17:55, 6 November 2010 (UTC)

I can't think of a reason why most of them are jpeg apart from most of them coming directly from Digimon Dictionary, although converting them into transparent pngs has been on my mind for a while.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 18:08, 6 November 2010 (UTC)
Cool beans. Anyhow, We're working on an adjustment to the gradients template at WiKirby, figured it might be of interest to you. If it works well, you should be able to type {{gradient|start=#xxxxxx|end=#yyyyyy}} I'm thinking to add ifexist statements to allow for more color stops in FireFox.Axiomist 01:21, 12 November 2010 (UTC)

Episode names redux[edit]

I was still uncomfortable with the nouny titles, and I think these are the best translations, and most consistent all around:

  • Island Zone, Upheaval! => Island Zone, An Upheaval!
  • X4, Crisis Breakthrough! => X4, The Crisis Breakthrough!
  • Volcano Digimon, Explosion! => Volcano Digimon, A Great Eruption!
  • Dark Knight Digimon, Enter! => Dark Knight Digimon, An Entrance!

Star Sword DX?[edit]

Was that a new addition to its profile, and are there any others you know of that changed?KrytenKoro06 17:42, 14 November 2010 (CST)

I think that was the only one.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 17:50, 14 November 2010 (CST)
Okay, thanks! By the way, I mentioned the addition on with the will, and credited it to you.KrytenKoro06 17:51, 14 November 2010 (CST)

Image Usage[edit]

Can the DMA use the Toei/Bandai images you have been editing?

In all honestly I have been using your pictures (giving credit on every page used and separting your edits in folders Wikimon edited Toei images on the DMA ), but I felt that I should have asked instead of assuming I had the permission to do so. If you do not want the images on my site and I can remove them. --Deviate 14:51, 20 November 2010 (CST)

Yeah, sure feel free!--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 14:55, 20 November 2010 (CST)
Thanks! --Deviate 15:35, 20 November 2010 (CST)

Toei art[edit]

I think it would look better if the Toei image was the first tab in the "Images" tab, since "Bandai" is usually empty, and if it was centered. Thanks!KrytenKoro06 12:59, 22 November 2010 (CST)

Done! --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 13:07, 22 November 2010 (CST)

DA to end at 13[edit]

There is a persistent claim that Digimon Adventure was originally meant to end at episode thirteen for either the American or Japanese versions, and that SkullSatamon was to be the final form of Devimon. Do you know if there are any sources for or against these claims?KrytenKoro06 18:53, 30 November 2010 (CST)

I've never heard about that claim until now.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 19:25, 30 November 2010 (CST)
I saw it mentioned on the Tropes Wiki, which is probably why it spread. Seeing as Digimon Adventure was a show meant to sell toys, it is very, very unrealistic that it was only to be 13 episodes. Even if you consider the possibility of waiting to see if the first arc did well before creating more episodes, there would have been a sizable production gap between arcs if that were the case. Generally, toy-selling series tend to be on the longer end to better whore their product because of how long some toys take to get to the shelves. What's the point of buying all those toys if the show ends a few weeks after you buy them?--devkyu 23:12, 30 November 2010 (CST)

Seikatsu[edit]

So, what exactly is the provenance here? Is this a legitimate site? If I understand the link, it seems like this is a Digimon mobile phone app, and I guess it has the profiles?

So, are the 2ch leaks legitimate profiles that are just released on the seikatsu app before they're released on Digimon Dictionary?KrytenKoro06 00:01, 13 December 2010 (CST)

That's what I'm beginning to believe. Also, I presume the reason why so many "leaked profiles" appeared for the first time was because it coincided with Seikatsu's release date (August 18, 2010).--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 01:54, 13 December 2010 (CST)
Well, I'm done with all the profiles you've posted so far, though there was some incredibly odd grammar for the Shonitamon profile that I think might possibly be typos. I'm about to just start using these profiles on Digimon Wiki, 'cause Baalmon and Beelzemon's profiles were backed up every which way before they were finally confirmed.KrytenKoro06 02:32, 13 December 2010 (CST)

By the way, would you be able to get me the Revolmon asahi profile? I'll go ahead and do that and the Dictionary version, if you want.KrytenKoro06 09:31, 13 December 2010 (CST)

Of course. Completely forgot about that one.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 10:25, 13 December 2010 (CST)
...wow, what was that "party hard amy" thing all about?...anyway, in your opinion, can the seikatsu profiles be considered official information?KrytenKoro06 11:00, 13 December 2010 (CST)
I'd consider them as official. As for the "party hard amy" thing, I've got no idea (although at first, I thought it was related to 5th Anniversary).--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 11:06, 13 December 2010 (CST)

Legendary Deckerdramon,...huh?[edit]

Now that we know what actually happened in the episode, do you think "Stir" might be a better translation? It's the closest literal translation to the "coming to life" thing he does, and "Move!" sounds like he's in someone's way or something.KrytenKoro06 11:15, 13 December 2010 (CST)

Yeah, I never liked using "Move!" from the beginning.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 11:18, 13 December 2010 (CST)
Although I doubt it can be used, I think "Roll out" would be fitting considering he's a tankodile.--devkyu 16:36, 13 December 2010 (CST)

Notes from translating HolyAngemon[edit]

It pretty blankly says that "Keitai" is meant to mean "Mode" (specifically, its Battle Mode). Do you think it would be appropriate to retranslate all the Xros profiles so that it says "Mode" rather than "Form"?KrytenKoro06 12:47, 30 December 2010 (CST)

Yeah, possibly (the only instance I've seen Keitai explicitly meaning "Form" is in Imperialdramon's profile).--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 10:53, 31 December 2010 (CST)

GreyKnightsmon[edit]

By any chance, would you happen to have a scan of the MetalGreymon card back, where it says it digixroses into GreyKnightsmon?KrytenKoro06 12:39, 14 February 2011 (CST)

I haven't got the actual card (or any other cards except those in Set 1); I've been having to rely on photos from auction sites. The proof for MetalGreymon digixrosing with DarkKnightmon into GreyKnightsmon is also on the back of D4-28.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 15:16, 14 February 2011 (CST)
Oy-vey. I really wish the carddas site showed the card-backs. We need to set up an archive of which DigiXroses are listed on which cards; do regular Digimon cards (Kamemon, Garurumon, etc.) list DigiXroses too?KrytenKoro06 15:28, 14 February 2011 (CST)
As far as I'm aware, with the exception of MetalGarurumon and WarGreymon, only the cards of Xros Wars exclusive Digimon have Digi Xros Units on them. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 15:36, 14 February 2011 (CST)

Image Gallery[edit]

Hello, I added the image gallery template to several articles, but I'd like to read more opinions before continuing. Could you post at the Community Portal again? Thanks. --Grandy02 06:08, 6 March 2011 (CST)

What do you think about moving the Digimon artwork? If it appears within the article, I assume more people will see the pictures by just scrolling through the page, rather than by clicking on "Images" (also, that "Bandai" is mostly empty might put visitors off looking for the Bandai section, therefore missing the few additional Bandai images that are actually found there). What about instead creating a gallery for every Digimon article with at least two pieces of artwork? Just my humble opinion. --Grandy02 13:59, 8 March 2011 (CST)
Yeah, definitely. I was hoping to make the image tab completely redundant. The gallery section might be better placed just before the Additional Information section, but that's just my opinion. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 14:06, 8 March 2011 (CST)
Do you mean a gallery section with subsections (Artwork, Video Games, Virtual Pets)? --Grandy02 10:30, 9 March 2011 (CST)
Yeah, something along those lines.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 10:49, 9 March 2011 (CST)
Like this? --Grandy02 11:07, 9 March 2011 (CST)
Looks great. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 11:24, 9 March 2011 (CST)
Thanks. ^_^ --Grandy02 11:30, 9 March 2011 (CST)
I think the image tab should be completely redundant now. --Grandy02 11:26, 12 March 2011 (CST)
Why did you also remove the contents tab? The Digimon articles have quite a few sections, so I thought it was actually useful (even though I have to admit that I hardly ever used it). --Grandy02 05:56, 13 March 2011 (CDT)

Tsuwamon box - high quality Bandai images, INCLUDING Tyutyumon and MusouKnightmon[edit]

The images are here and here on megaupload. If you can't access them (I can't, right yet), register your e-mail with your account on the Digimon Wiki, and I'll mail them to you directly.KrytenKoro06 17:08, 21 March 2011 (CDT)

Digimon with no images[edit]

Hi. There are more than 100 Digimon pages that lack an image in the infobox. However, for many of them at least a card is available. Couldn't those cards just be used as placeholders until a proper image appears? --Grandy02 16:32, 21 March 2011 (CDT)

Instead of using the whole card, just used a cropped image from the card.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 15:47, 23 March 2011 (CDT)
Okay. --Grandy02 09:00, 24 March 2011 (CDT)

Card Blurbs[edit]

Hello. On Agumon's page, you moved the Card Blurbs from the profile template into a sub-section of TGC titled Card Quotations. That is also the case for several other article, while others use the Card Blurbs tab. How should it actually be done? --Grandy02 03:41, 3 April 2011 (CDT)

I've gradually started to move them to a Card Quotations subsection to avoid the Card Blurb tab from being too clustered, especially with Jintrix and Super Digica Taisen now being involved.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 04:00, 3 April 2011 (CDT)
I see. So the Quotations tab should only contain Analyzer profiles in the future (or should even those be moved to somewhere else)? --Grandy02 04:04, 3 April 2011 (CDT)
Yeah, the Quotations tab should only contain Analyzer profiles. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 04:10, 3 April 2011 (CDT)
Is it possible that the Anaylzer tab is selected first rather than the (empty) Card Blurbs? --Grandy02 08:57, 29 April 2011 (CDT)
Changed it.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 09:03, 29 April 2011 (CDT)
Something went wrong, though, the entire page excluding the profile is now in the Analyzer tab. --Grandy02 09:11, 29 April 2011 (CDT)
Fixed it. I forgot to add the extra <div>. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 09:14, 29 April 2011 (CDT)

Yeah, I've known that for a while now; it's just a shame we can't grab the images at their full size.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 00:04, 11 April 2011 (CDT)

Bot for Categorising Images[edit]

Hello, wouldn't it be easier to use a bot for categorising the many, many card images (e.g. crawling all pages named "File:Bo-*" and "File:St-*" for Hyper Colosseum)? I don't know how to program a bot, though, I only know it's possible. --Grandy02 12:10, 18 April 2011 (CDT)

That's exactly what I was thinking just now, but I also have no idea how to program one.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 12:14, 18 April 2011 (CDT)

Zamielmon[edit]

His profile was put up with Mervamon's, but it still hasn't cached yet.KrytenKoro06 13:18, 5 May 2011 (CDT)

Um.[edit]

It looks like I have been misusing that and which for restrictive clauses, and using "that" for non-restrictive, and "which" for restrictive, when it should apparently be the other way around.

How much of a problem is this, do you think, and do I need to redo all the translations?KrytenKoro06 16:13, 11 May 2011 (CDT)

Scratch that - while I DO have that problem, the difference doesn't really exist in the original Japanese, so unless the profile reads oddly, it won't need to be fixed. If you see any that read oddly, by all means notify me, but I simply can't recognize any mistaken uses at this point.KrytenKoro06 16:19, 11 May 2011 (CDT)

Splitting Agumon (Black)[edit]

Hi, could you take a look at this this (it seems that nobody noticed the talk page entry)? --Grandy02 13:00, 13 May 2011 (CDT)

I asked another question there, could you answer it, too? --Grandy02 08:29, 17 May 2011 (CDT)

Bolding Strikedramon[edit]

Why did you revert the bolding of Strikedramon as an evolution in Cyberdramon's article? Cyberdramon (Tamers) says that Strikedramon is his Adult form in a video game based on the anime. Why does it not count? --Grandy02 12:54, 14 May 2011 (CDT)

For stuff like that, the actual reference itself supporting it needs to be boldened as well, e.g. on Jet Mervamon.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 15:15, 14 May 2011 (CDT)
Got it. --Grandy02 15:30, 14 May 2011 (CDT)
How many references should an evolution have, anyway? Most have just one, but Agumon's list includes nine refs for Greymon, for example. --Grandy02 08:04, 18 May 2011 (CDT)
One should be sufficient.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 08:16, 18 May 2011 (CDT)
Do the Win Ratio (Shouritsu) trading cards depicting evolutions of Digimon count for bolded evolutions? I've seen several evolution lists that apparently use them as a reference, but it's not consistent. --Grandy02 14:06, 22 May 2011 (CDT)
Bolded evolutions are just for "story" characters. Like the Chosen and Tamer's digimon, characters that appear in the anime and manga (and the video games related to them like Brave Tamer). --devkyu 20:21, 22 May 2011 (CDT)
But the official profiles also count, right? For example, Skull Mammon's dictionary entry says it was a Mammon before. --Grandy02 00:56, 23 May 2011 (CDT)
I think that in addition to bolding evolutions for story characters, if it explicitly states/implies it in an official profile, it should also be bolded.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 03:44, 5 June 2011 (CDT)

Min Weight[edit]

I noticed that the V-Pet profiles of certain Digimon use different min weights. For example, Bakemon's min weight is either 30g or 10g. Is that a mistake at the website or are there different weights, just like attributes, levels and such can vary? --Grandy02 15:31, 16 May 2011 (CDT)

Yeah, the weights for some Digimon vary depending on what V-Pet they're on.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 00:48, 17 May 2011 (CDT)
Whoops, misclick. Anyway, maybe you could just list both with a reference to which V-pet it is from (rather than just listing one at random, or the lowest weight of the two). --devkyu 02:04, 17 May 2011 (CDT)
Can you make that it is possible to add multiple weights and refs, just like for the other rows? --Grandy02 12:19, 17 May 2011 (CDT)
I've altered template S to allow for multiple weights/weight refs.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 13:20, 17 May 2011 (CDT)
Thanks! The only problem is that there is still just one possible reference (see Devimon's page). --Grandy02 13:27, 17 May 2011 (CDT)
I see my mistake, sorry. --Grandy02 15:11, 17 May 2011 (CDT)

When the 82nd, 83rd and 84th cards are not part of Set 2, what do they belong to? --Grandy02 08:04, 3 June 2011 (CDT)

I noticed that the artwork of the 84th card (holy Cherubimon) appears in this ad for Set 2. --Grandy02 13:11, 3 June 2011 (CDT)
Why did you remove the last three cards of the Jintrix Set 2 list? --Grandy02 10:21, 7 June 2011 (CDT)
They are only 81 cards in the set, unless those 3 are planned to be part of set 3.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 10:25, 7 June 2011 (CDT)
What to do with those three card images then? They are still in the Set 2 template and "DJT-2-084" is already part of Vaccine Cherubimon's TCG template (and as said, the artwork is seen in the ad despite it not being part of Set 2). --Grandy02 10:00, 9 June 2011 (CDT)
I'm not sure what do about them, we could wait until set 3's release, which is some time in August. Otherwise, they're in a similar predicament to Lucemon Falldown Mode, Demon and Imperialdramon FM's Jintrix cards.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 10:14, 9 June 2011 (CDT)
Maybe we could place them in an additional section on the Jintrix page and note that the images appear at the official site, but it is not yet known of which set they will be part of. --Grandy02 10:24, 9 June 2011 (CDT)
Yeah, perhaps under "unreleased cards" or something.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 10:27, 9 June 2011 (CDT)

Digimon X Arena[edit]

I just found out that the Carddas site lists these. As far as I can tell, all valid Xroses are listed here, though there is probably a fair amount of lag from the time of a release to an update.

If you can find any Xroses that appear on card backs but not here, I'd appreciate it. Otherwise, I think using these would be more efficient and standardizable than trying to find card back scans.KrytenKoro06 01:40, 28 May 2011 (CDT)

TCG Artwork[edit]

The Digimental TCG Image was uploaded appropriately. The are different in rendering. Please explain to me my failure to recognize the mistakes for its deletion. --VitalityVexer 19:01, 14 June 2011 (CDT)

This is not a dub-orientated wiki. Had you have named it "Digimental_11.png", then it would have been acceptable. The Rules regarding image uploads are clear about this.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 19:16, 14 June 2011 (CDT)

Images[edit]

I'm not sure about a few images VitalityVexer recently added to the image galleries. In the gallery of V-mon, the scan looks out of place in my opinion. The same goes for Dukemon Crimson Mode. Though the latter Digimon takes a more notable place in the image, basically any scan, cover or whatever could be added then just because the Digimon is part of it. I think for this case we should rather have "Images by Digimon" categories (similar to Bulbapedia) where really everything would get into, including anime screenshots (which are usually not categorised at all as of now). What do you think? --Grandy02 11:51, 16 June 2011 (CDT)

I really don't think the random screenshots and scans belong there at all. Not to mention that user is getting on my nerves. They keep uploading random things, under the wrong names and spamming them to any page it seems, and continue to do so after being warned twice about it already. Personally I'm about the bring the banhammer down on them for a while. --devkyu 13:51, 16 June 2011 (CDT)
What about this and this image? The former one is really bad quality, is it even promotional art or could it be cropped from an anime screenshot? I already removed it, but I'm not 100% sure. The Armagemon one isn't the best quality either, and it has the ZT logo on it and parts of the body are cut off, should it also be removed from the gallery? --Grandy02 09:39, 19 June 2011 (CDT)
Definitely. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 09:41, 19 June 2011 (CDT)

A different question: The artwork of the non-Digimon characters (mainly humans) is not categorised at all at the moment. But "Toei Images" is a subcategory of "Digimon Images", so it's apparently for Digimon only. Would a category for the others be called "Toei Images (Non-Digimon Characters)" or something? --Grandy02 12:21, 19 June 2011 (CDT)

That's a good point. I was thinking that we could add a category named "Digimon Images (Toei)" to the Toei Digimon artwork and make that a subcategory of both Toei images and Digimon images, despite it being really tedious, which would then allow for the "Toei Images (Non-Digimon Characters)" category.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 12:30, 19 June 2011 (CDT)
Okay, something different first, I won't be going through the more than 500 pages in the near future. ;-) We really need a bot... Anyway, the anime screenshots are also uncategorised. What would a category be named? "Anime Images (Digimon Adventure)" or "Digimon Adventure Images" (there is not even a category called "Anime Images" right now)? --Grandy02 13:02, 19 June 2011 (CDT)
I'd go with "Anime Images (Digimon ##)". --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 13:07, 19 June 2011 (CDT)
A friend told me about AutoWikiBrowser. It should be able to easily do the recategorization.KrytenKoro06 13:15, 19 June 2011 (CDT)
I've come across AutoWikiBrowser before; I'm just confused about the registration bit.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 13:30, 19 June 2011 (CDT)

Names of Virtual Pets[edit]

There's something about the naming of the Virtual Pets on this wiki I've always found confusing, in particular the naming of the Pendulums: At the official site, all versions have a full name rather than just a number, but at Wikimon only the x.5 versions have the full name (whether it should be "Digimon Pendulum" or just "Pendulum" is another question). I also noticed the original releases have a plain number without a point and 0 at Digimon Web, but here it is always x.0. Is there any reason behind this inconsistency? On another note, the Pendulum Progress ones are also not using the full name for the article titles, maybe this intended, but then what about the x.5 Pendulums (and ZERO)? --Grandy02 14:04, 20 June 2011 (CDT)

For the Pendulums, they were originally just called "Pendulum" on the wiki because it was annoying typing out "Digital Monster Pendulum" before every single one of them years ago and they were colloquially just referred to as "Pendulum" anyway... yes, lazy, I know, but after having to completely remake the wiki from close to scratch between classes, it happens. As for the number and point-number inconsistencies between virtual pets... for the most part it comes from the pets' websites or packaging. On the one site, only the .5 pendulums have the "family name" attached to them (ex: Pendulum 1.0, Pendulum 1.5 Nature Spirits). As for the other pets, I wish Bandai was a little more consistent on numbering (we've had V-pet Name ver.#, Ver. #.#, version #, version #.#, and #.#... and sometimes they spell out the name of the number rather than using a numeral (Pendulum zero). --devkyu 16:39, 20 June 2011 (CDT)

DXU[edit]

I think it would be better for keeping the tables consistent to use the DXU subtemplates, but I can't figure out how to do that without adding switches to the SDT template. Is that okay?KrytenKoro06 17:37, 20 June 2011 (CDT)

IDs needed:

  • 1142
  • 1152
  • 2132
  • 3122
  • 3132
  • 3142
  • 3152
  • 4122

Also, sorry about missing Shoutmon + Star Sword.KrytenKoro06 17:43, 20 June 2011 (CDT)

The DXU template is still incomplete. What I was planning on was splitting te Xros Unit table into two parts, one for what's displayed on the back of the card itself, and the other for the remaining combinations, which would still use the same tables. It's intended to function similar to the NeoTCG template.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 00:44, 21 June 2011 (CDT)
Don't the card backs change between sets?KrytenKoro06 20:51, 21 June 2011 (CDT)
Some of them do, but the others remain the same e.g Cyberdramon.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 03:44, 22 June 2011 (CDT)

Design & Analysis[edit]

The tab "Design & Analysis" is empty in most cases, is it possible that it is not visible when there is nothing to show, just like how it works for "Quotations"? --Grandy02 13:31, 24 June 2011 (CDT)

Done.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 13:36, 24 June 2011 (CDT)

Ver. S Profiles[edit]

The original profiles of the Digimon that debuted in Digital Monster Ver. S can be found via the Wayback Machine. Would a separate tab be needed to include them or would they went under "Digital Monster"? Are video game profiles even in use at all (aside from Culumon)? --Grandy02 15:50, 24 June 2011 (CDT)

V-Pet Pages[edit]

I thought about how the V-Pet sprites could be embedded into the V-Pet pages. What do you think about something like this:

Greymon vpet dm.gif Greymon
  • Agumon: 0-3 Calls, Train 32+.
Tyranomon vpet dm.gif Tyranomon
  • Agumon: 4+ calls, Train 5-15, Overfeed 3+, 0-4 Sleep Disturbances.
Devimon vpet dm.gif Devimon
  • Agumon: 0-3 Calls, Train 0-31.
  • Betamon: 0-3 Calls, Train 48+.

Any suggestions? --Grandy02 09:46, 26 June 2011 (CDT)

I've got one idea which is based on the principle of how this template works, but I still need to figure out what to include. Apart from that, it looks alright.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 10:05, 26 June 2011 (CDT)

Cache of Category Pages[edit]

Could the cache of category pages be cleared more often for unregistered visitors so that new articles and images appear earlier? When I view the category "Video Game Sprites" as a guest, there is still just one image, even though hundreds of images were added within the last months. Likewise, the recently filled "No Level" category is still empty when being viewed by a guest. --Grandy02 08:08, 29 June 2011 (CDT)

How?--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 15:05, 30 June 2011 (CDT)
Oh weird, I just noticed that. I thought it might have just been something on your end, Grandy, but apparently it does it to me too if I log out. That's... certainly interesting.--devkyu 23:53, 30 June 2011 (CDT)
I still don't see a difference (refreshing the page didn't help). But I also noticed the same issue at another wiki. --Grandy02 10:15, 1 July 2011 (CDT)
I've added a purge button, does that help with the issue?--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 06:16, 7 July 2011 (CDT)

Mephis (to) Pheles mon[edit]

I think there's a definite possibility that the reason their names were split like that is a pun on the "to" in Mephistopheles, and having it be interpreted as a japanese "and"; however, I have no idea how to word that. Thoughts?KrytenKoro06 00:41, 1 July 2011 (CDT)

Game Nav[edit]

The Game Nav template is currently not only missing various games, but there also seems to be no real order. Should they be ordered by platform, genre, release or something else? --Grandy02 10:29, 8 July 2011 (CDT)

Redid it in chronological order for now. Maybe on the List of Video Games page, it might be a good idea to have an option to sort chronologically, by system, and by series. Maybe a tabbed list would look good? --devkyu 16:52, 12 July 2011 (CDT)

List of Digimon[edit]

Currently, the List of Digimon has just the names. What do you think about organising them in tables that offer some information, e.g. the year of debut and the debut appearance? --Grandy02 13:00, 12 July 2011 (CDT)

Similar to how the Dicitonary does? Yeah, not a bad idea.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 15:18, 12 July 2011 (CDT)
At the very list, adding the names in kana/kanji would be worthwhile.--devkyu 16:50, 12 July 2011 (CDT)
A suggestion:
Name Kanji/Kana Debut
1997 Digital Monster Ver. 1
2000 Digimon Adventure 02: "Archnemon, the Spider Woman's Mistake"
It's a bit tricky when there are multiple "debut" appearances of a Digimon within a short time span. For example, the Digivice iC, the first Savers episode and the first Alpha cards were all released within a few days, but according to Amazon.co.jp, the toy was released on March 31 (the others were in April). --Grandy02 13:25, 14 July 2011 (CDT)

I've fixed the header.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 18:40, 14 July 2011 (CDT)
Thanks! Currently reformatting the List of Digimon page. Will probably need to make an alternate template for the List of Dub Names page, since there are problems like one name being used for multiple digimon (Kumamon) and sometimes a lot of spelling variants.--devkyu 20:39, 14 July 2011 (CDT)

Digimon Life[edit]

  • Do we want to keep the Life profiles, when they differ from the Dictionary profile?
  • Would it be possible to give it a standardized ref template, like with DD, that could mark ones that need translating?

Also, would it be possible to code it so that you could list which official sources use the same profile; for example, if the V-Pet profile matches the Dictionary, there'd be a little note saying, "This profile also used in the V-Pet."KrytenKoro06 23:30, 5 August 2011 (CDT)
Yes to both. In general, I'm planning on redesigning the whole of template S to make things easier to input and all the more because it's too Dictionary dependent.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 23:58, 5 August 2011 (CDT)
The new template is more or less complete, but I'm not sure what route to go down for the sources with the same profile thing. The two options I have in mind are:
  • Put the note right at the bottom of the original profile stating that "This profile is also used in/on such and such", providing the links
  • Make new tabs for the ones with the same profile as the original and state something like "The same as on such and such". This would also allow us to categorize/keep track of how many profiles are up on Digimon Life.

"Minor" News[edit]

When looking into the news archives, I find information on updates at the official sites, such as new character pages at the XW site or new blog posts at the SDT site. However, I have the feeling that less attention has been given to those "minor" news recently. For example, the SDT blog revealed an upcoming Darkness Bagramon card some days ago, isn't that noteworthy? Or character updates at the XW sites of Toei and TV Asahi? I didn't read about the last ones in the news box IIRC. Maybe even Digimelody updates would be worth mentioning. Or are they too "minor"? --Grandy02 14:36, 20 July 2011 (CDT)

More than likely, it's just that we're busy and potentially don't even notice the minor updates as of late, especially with all of the updates being done. The other Admins used to do some of the minor news updates, but have since dropped off from being active. --devkyu 20:15, 20 July 2011 (CDT)
Hm, if I informed an admin, would they check and add the news when they are worth mentioning? For example, today there have been updates at the Digimon World Re:Digitize blog and the SDT site (multiple cards of set 7 revealed). --Grandy02 11:43, 22 July 2011 (CDT)
I'll make the news template accessible to not just admins, here. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 14:21, 22 July 2011 (CDT)
Thanks! I hope what I added is okay. --Grandy02 15:14, 22 July 2011 (CDT)

Could you add information on the upcoming XW series and the respective scan in the news template, please? (I'd do it myself, but I think you are better informed than me.) --Grandy02 03:07, 18 August 2011 (CDT)

Done. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 03:33, 18 August 2011 (CDT)
Thanks! --Grandy02 03:34, 18 August 2011 (CDT)

Alternate Names[edit]

There are several "black" Digimon that are known by two different names. For example, the black Garurumon has been referred to as both "Garurumon" and "Black Garurumon", the same goes for the black versions of other Digimon of the Agumon and Gabumon evolution lines. How could those alternate names be added? Alternate spellings are usually included under the Name & Etymology tab, but in those cases they're actually different names (at the moment, the respective articles just mention them as the dub names). --Grandy02 14:09, 29 July 2011 (CDT)

The same way as the alternate name spellings.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 14:13, 29 July 2011 (CDT)
And what about the kana, romanization and DigiLetters for those names? --Grandy02 14:41, 29 July 2011 (CDT)

You added Imperialdramon's alternate name "Imperialdramon Dragon Mode" to the respective article in the past, but the name doesn't appear because there are still no parameters like "altn." --Grandy02 13:43, 7 January 2012 (CST)

The name appears now, but the respective kana and romanization are still not visible. --Grandy02 10:28, 18 January 2012 (CST)

Deleted Images[edit]

Most of the images you deleted yesterday still exist. Their pages are gone, but the files themselves still exist for some reason (and still appear under "Unused files", too). Is that an unfixable bug? Also, please replace "DT44_title.jpg" by "DT44_title_jp.jpg" in Wikimon:Rules. --Grandy02 06:30, 31 July 2011 (CDT)

I can't do anything about it; if I try to delete it again it comes up with an error.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 08:38, 31 July 2011 (CDT)
Hm, I see. Could you also fix the image link of DT44_title(_jp).jpg in the Rules page (there is just a red "200px" at the moment)? And something is wrong with the "Referencing" headline there, too. --Grandy02 08:45, 31 July 2011 (CDT)
Done. Also, it turns out that it is fixable; I just need to restore all of those pages and redelete them. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 08:48, 31 July 2011 (CDT)

Sunburst Moonlight images[edit]

Can you correct the names for those images? I had to throw them all up as downloaded last night, since it was so late.KrytenKoro06 12:54, 7 August 2011 (CDT)

Multiple refs for one evolution?[edit]

The user Coatlmon has recently added a lot of references for evolutions. However, many of those evolutions already had at least one reference before. I'm not sure if it is necessary to add every possible occurrence of one evolution. --Grandy02 08:12, 22 September 2011 (CDT)

Exactly. Only one reference per evolution should suffice. In the past we did it (e.g Guilmon), but it became really unnecessary and very time-consuming. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 08:18, 22 September 2011 (CDT)
Okay. If I remember correctly, I once read that Digimon RPG should not be used as a reference, right? And what about Digimon Masters (you let that reference unchanged when you edited the Victory Greymon article)? --Grandy02 10:26, 22 September 2011 (CDT)
Same thing for Digimon Masters. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 10:29, 22 September 2011 (CDT)

Nerfed profiles and Life differences[edit]

If it's not too much of a trouble, could you leave me a message containing the Digimon whose Dictionary profiles don't match their Life profiles, or who have had their Dictionary profiles modified since they were released?KrytenKoro06 18:02, 23 September 2011 (CDT)

As you go through them, I mean.KrytenKoro06 18:08, 23 September 2011 (CDT)
Yeah, sure. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 18:10, 23 September 2011 (CDT)
So far, the ones that I've come across that are nerfed all have the translation brackets removed.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 17:34, 25 September 2011 (CDT)

Episode "table" in Portuguese[edit]

Sorry for annoying, but... could you make a "table" (like that "table" for Japanese, English, German and Spanish titles) for episodes in portuguese? I can help you input information, because I watched portuguese and brazilian "dubbed version"... Also, are portugal and brazilian flags uploaded here? --Lukas 19:25, 23 September 2011 (CDT)

Do you mean make an extra tab for episodes in Portuguese on episode pages? If so, I'm sure I originally added Portuguese with the others but removed it for some reason, so it shouldn't be hard to recreate.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 19:27, 23 September 2011 (CDT)
Like This? As for the Portuguese and Brazilian flags, I can't seem to find either of them.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 19:55, 23 September 2011 (CDT)
Yes, I've already updated DA01, thanks. You may take it from Wikipedia.--Lukas 20:49, 23 September 2011 (CDT)

Linking Toei Profiles[edit]

Hello, I added three Toei profiles for Tailmon, but linking them doesn't work in two cases. "pn4a1=Adventure" and "pn4a2=Adventure 02" are converted into links to the series' articles which replace the intended external links. Can you fix that, please? --Grandy02 07:30, 1 October 2011 (CDT)

Fixed.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 07:35, 1 October 2011 (CDT)
Thanks! --Grandy02 07:37, 1 October 2011 (CDT)

How would the Analyzer texts of the English dub be included? Subsection of "Digimon Analyzer" or as a subsection of "Anime & Manga"? --Grandy02 06:40, 2 October 2011 (CDT)

Should we still continue with the dub? I've been removing them. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 09:00, 2 October 2011 (CDT)
Okay, I see. Well, when using the Analyzer dub versions, we would also have to add everything else from dubs for consistency (e.g. the very first English profiles). I agree that it is not necessary. --Grandy02 09:13, 2 October 2011 (CDT)
We could still do it, for the sake of including as much stuff as possible. But it'll take a while to sort out first, since it would go into "Layer 4" of the S2 template. I'll test it out for one of the pages using the "Subsection of Digimon Analyzer" method --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 09:22, 2 October 2011 (CDT)
If you're worried about cluttering things up, you could always keep the Analyzer profiles relegated to the episode pages, or even place them down in the Appearances section (since there is rarely anything down there other than "This digimon showed up in this episode".--devkyu 09:26, 2 October 2011 (CDT)
I've tested it out on Mammon's page if anyone wants to see it. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 13:54, 2 October 2011 (CDT)

Metal Greymon (Virus)[edit]

Hi, why did you remove the anime debut of Virus Metal Greymon? Also, said article describes Neo's Metal Greymon in V-Tamer, but if I remember correctly, his profile refers to him as a Vaccine. I'm not sure, though. --Grandy02 08:06, 10 October 2011 (CDT)

That was accidental. I meant to copy the title and use it for the Analyzer section. Must have forgot what I was doing. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 09:24, 10 October 2011 (CDT)

Grandprix[edit]

Isn't "Grand Prix" normally spelled with two words rather than "Grandprix"? I know "GRANDPRIX" is written on the poster, but I don't think that is the only time that all-caps words are written without space. --Grandy02 08:27, 17 October 2011 (CDT)

I haven't seen it, so I assumed "Grandprix" was used throughout.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 08:37, 17 October 2011 (CDT)

Digimon Story tabs[edit]

Hello, in the Armagemon article there are tabs for Digimon Story (maybe the tab should just be named "Story") and Lost Evolution. However, clicking on "⇨ Japanese" doesn't work. Could you edit the templates to make them work, please? --Grandy02 10:39, 12 November 2011 (CST)

Thanks! --Grandy02 14:26, 12 November 2011 (CST)

Could you also add a tab for Battle Chronicle, please? --Grandy02 02:42, 3 December 2011 (CST)

I think we should make a list/chart of the various tabs we have/need somewhere. So far for abbreviations, I know we have DRB and DL for sure.--devkyu 04:58, 3 December 2011 (CST)
Could you give me an example page with the Battle Chronicle on it? --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 07:40, 3 December 2011 (CST)
Actually, there isn't any yet. I tried to add "Battle Chronicle" and "Lost Evolution" as subtabs of "Bandai Games" in Tailmon's article, but it didn't work. There are probably not enough layers. --Grandy02 09:15, 3 December 2011 (CST)
I've added the template for the new layer. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 10:42, 3 December 2011 (CST)
Thanks! --Grandy02 11:15, 3 December 2011 (CST)

Now a tab is needed for Digimon World Re:Digitize (seen on Agumon's page under "Bandai Games"). --Grandy02 05:29, 17 December 2011 (CST)

Thanks again! --Grandy02 14:58, 17 December 2011 (CST)

A tab for Fuji TV is needed (see Gaomon). --Grandy02 09:55, 30 December 2011 (CST)

Thanks! --Grandy02 13:06, 30 December 2011 (CST)

A tab for Pendulum X is needed, too (DORUgamon). --Grandy02 04:29, 21 January 2012 (CST)

Human character profiles[edit]

Do you think the profiles of human characters could also be included in some way? Currently, there are only dry static tables rather than templates (including infoboxes) in anime/manga character articles. Of course that also goes for Digimon character articles, though profiles would be a little redundant there. --Grandy02 14:41, 12 November 2011 (CST)

There is a (barely functioning) character template used on Tobari Ren's page, but otherwise I haven't been able to make anything better. Every attempt to make it vary generally causes the page to explode. Something like the Digimon's Profile would work, with tabs for etymology and appearances would be good.--devkyu 14:22, 16 November 2011 (CST)
I agree. It could actually simply be an altered version of the Digimon template, excluding certain tabs such as DRB and featuring different parameters for the infobox (those that are part of the current tables). --Grandy02 14:56, 16 November 2011 (CST)

Layers in second profile tab[edit]

Could you take a look at the "Anime & Manga" tab of Kuwagamon, please? For some reason, the Analyzer profiles don't show up. I assume that there aren't as much layers yet for the second tab, or did I do something wrong? --Grandy02 08:18, 15 November 2011 (CST)

Fake profiles[edit]

Please see this thread.

I don't think we should get rid of the fake profiles, but they should be clearly marked as fake. Maybe, an icon of Taichi with the troll face.KrytenKoro06 02:59, 24 November 2011 (CST)

Since devkyu mainly does this, maybe she could come up with something of the sort.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 03:10, 24 November 2011 (CST)
Yeah, definitely not getting rid of them. They don't spend ridiculous amounts of time compiling massive lists and tables, editing artwork and wasting away time here in general, so... they have absolutely no say in the matter. But, I'll think of making an icon since all the whiners are getting so butthurt over it. U mad WtW?--devkyu 06:18, 24 November 2011 (CST)

S2 Dub info[edit]

Just noticed that the |dub= and |dref= aren't showing up when I switch profiles over to the S2 format. Is it because they aren't active or because the tag for adding in Dub names is different on it compared to original?--devkyu 04:27, 28 November 2011 (CST)

Yeah, they weren't linked to S2, don't know why I missed them out. I also added |du2b=, |dref2=, |dub3= and |dref3=. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 09:05, 28 November 2011 (CST)

VolcDORAmon[edit]

Volcdramon has been moved to "Volcdoramon" a week ago, obviously because of the DRB entry. But then, not all articles follow the DRB spellings, e.g. Pawn/Paun Chessmon, what about Volcd(o)ramon? --Grandy02 09:51, 6 December 2011 (CST)

Well, for the most part we try and follow the official spelling given that makes the most sense. DRB is not the end-all spelling and if there are other official sources that are more correct, we'll use those instead. Sadly we can't really expect someone at Bandai whose stuck transliterating katakana into the roman alphabet based on who knows how many languages for a children's virtual pet franchise to honestly give a shit about whether the spelling makes sense as much as we do.
Sometimes we'll grudgingly accept the obviously incorrect, random mangling of some name; other times we'll pick between official sources, if they vary, the one that makes more sense; And other times I'll just throw a temper tantrum and flat out ignore it. Essentially it's a case-by-case basis.--devkyu 14:15, 6 December 2011 (CST)

DRB on Main Page[edit]

Hello, the DRB images on the Main Page still have to be updated. --Grandy02 04:56, 24 December 2011 (CST)

Linking and such[edit]

Okay, I finally got wikia to add "wm:" as an interwiki link to wikimon. What else would wikimon like us to do in order to keep this affiliation thing going? If you guys want us to put something on our main page, or anything like that, just give us a draft and we'll post it. Thanks!KrytenKoro06 23:02, 30 December 2011 (CST)

Featured Content[edit]

The link to "Past Featured Images" on the Main Page leads to a completely outdated page (early 2009), maybe that link should just be removed until that page is updated (if ever)? Also, Nanomon was already used only about half a year ago. Additionally, "This Week's" Featured Article has not been changed since months, it might be better to remove "This Week's." The "Past Featured" page would also need an update, though it's not as outdated as the other one. --Grandy02 08:22, 8 January 2012 (CST)

Non-tabbed tabbing question[edit]

The KHWiki now has a suite template setup ([22]), but it's basically just a mini-navbox. I was wondering if you could help us set up the code to have the hypertext-directed tabbing used for "English" and "Japanese" within the profiles. Basically, what I'm envisioning is having each of the subpages be transcluded within the "tabs", so that the suite template still operates the same but instead of taking you to a different page, it replaces the current content with that of the tab you selected. If I understand correctly, clicking on "edit" will still take you to the right place.KrytenKoro06 19:30, 11 January 2012 (CST)

I can picture it working, but I'll probably need to test it out here first as usual. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 21:41, 11 January 2012 (CST)
Sorry it's taken so long, I've just been really busy. Anywho, the mechanism of the suite template would probably look something like this (at least on KH Wiki), albeit still incomplete. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 09:42, 19 January 2012 (CST)
What do I need to add to the css/js whatnot?
Also, sorry I didn't see this for a month.KrytenKoro06 19:55, 23 February 2012 (CST)
Blurble durble doooo. Can you help me upgrade the khwiki css so that it can do the non-tabbed tabbing setup?KrytenKoro06 21:17, 6 March 2012 (CST)
I am straight buggered on trying to understand how the Morph coding works.KrytenKoro06 23:15, 30 March 2012 (CDT)

Image questions[edit]

I've two questions regarding images you uploaded:

  • File:Magnamonx.jpg - this file is in the "Digimon Dictionary" category, but I don't recall seeing it there, or am I wrong?
  • File:Platinumsukamon.jpg - the colours of the artwork seen on the card are much paler, where is this from?

--Grandy02 04:45, 14 January 2012 (CST)

1) When Magnamon's profile was added to the Dictionary, they originally put up Magnamon X-Antibody's image by mistake, before correcting it soon afterwards
2) That's likely a fanmade recolor.
--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 05:43, 14 January 2012 (CST)
Okay, thanks. --Grandy02 06:18, 14 January 2012 (CST)

Debut years[edit]

Hi, in each of the four Digimon articles you recently created (Arresterdramon SM and the contest Digimon) the debut year is given as 2011. Is that correct? I thought it would be 2012, or am I wrong? --Grandy02 03:42, 21 January 2012 (CST)

Would you be able to fix the Liamon image as you did the Red AtlurKabuterimon image? It degrades whenever I try to.KrytenKoro06 02:41, 2 March 2012 (CST)

HappyMarc1[edit]

Seeing what was written on HappyMarc1's talk page, I'm not sure whether it is that good to block him for a month. But then I also don't really know how he could be convinced to post his self-made stuff somewhere else... Just my two cents. --Grandy02 03:58, 3 March 2012 (CST)

Yeah, your right, I never noticed it since I haven't been active as much as I want to. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 05:30, 3 March 2012 (CST)
Just because his dad gives some sob story doesn't mean we have to babysit him. Sure, it sucks, but it's not fair to US to keep cleaning up after some kid on a spamming spree. He does have his own place to post AND the Digimon Wiki has a fan section, and there's also... you know... the rest of the internet. We work on this bottomless pit of digimon information because we're fans, not because our career choice is dealing special needs children. The ban is deserved. Trollmon[edit]

Kryten messaged me this:

"Could you talk to Ainz about whether he can manipulate S2 to neuter the Trollmon article so that it doesn't show up in the Child/Virus/etc. categories? Some posters on the forum thought it was real for a bit because they found it in those categories.

Either that, or replace the page with a screenshot of the page."

CloneWarrior 14:24, 15 May 2012 (CDT)

Yeah, sorry 'bout making Clone do that. I can't access wikimon at work.KrytenKoro06 23:34, 21 May 2012 (CDT)

Proposition[edit]

....soooooo.

So. Proposition.

Would wikimon at all be interested in merging with Digimon Wiki? It could alleviate the funding problems Wikimon has had, and really...well, most of the work that I value at Digimon Wiki would fit better with your guys' format, when it's not already here. The biggest obstacle would be getting the images ported over and into the Digimon Wiki naming format, and that there is more restrictions on how things can be displayed. On the reverse side...while I would absolutely love for Digimon Wiki to merge what little (extra) it has to provide over here, it seems like it would overtax the funding situation, and also, well, I wouldn't be able to help at all at work (kind of selfish of me, haha).

I dunno. There's good points for every option in this. Just wanted to put this out here, see if you guys were interested. If you're not, no biggie.KrytenKoro06 23:34, 21 May 2012 (CDT)

No. --Koroku 19:33, 14 June 2012 (CDT)

Can you help with a coding thing?[edit]

We'd like to set up a table-like template that works like the Xros Units one did, using coding and color parameters.

We want to be able to input the techniques, color names, and something indicating how the links work from this image, and make it look like in the original game. Do you think you could help us make this work?KrytenKoro06 22:29, 1 August 2012 (CDT)

Digimon Collectors[edit]

http://www.mediafire.com/?er2trvjdb1aupcd

Of course![edit]

Sorry, I didn't think you were still active, so I had just pinged Grandy about it. Theigno has given permission for both sites to use all the resources -- links are on Grandy's talk page, and we've deciphered most of the stat-dump here. I'm not planning to retranslate the profiles, as a first glance makes the localizations look accurate (barring localization names, of course), but go ahead and throw them through honyaku.nifty.com for a sanity check. Theigno also recently provided the skin assets here, although I'm not sure they're going to be too useful as is. They do illustrate some more examples of DigiLetters, mostly on scenery.KrytenKoro06 (talk) 20:22, 22 August 2014 (CDT)

Probably needs a higher quality scan to confirm this (though the number of characters match the one on the scan, that being 21). --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 20:11, 7 September 2014 (CDT)

Digimon Xros Archive[edit]

Should the cards from the Digimon Xros Archive be included in the template of the Super Digica Taisen of each Digimon or not? In the case of the card DG1-009 for example, it belongs to Dondokomon, but it doesn't exist a DondokomonSDT template. Shadow Shinji (talk) 16:23, 2 November 2014 (CST)

It needs to be on a separate template, i.e DondokomonDXA. I just need to set it up in the TCG template (and eventually upload the backs of the cards). --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 16:34, 2 November 2014 (CST)

Ok, I will help in everything I can. I have uploaded the logo from an extraction. Do you know any place where a higher quality logo could be taken? Shadow Shinji (talk) 05:46, 3 November 2014 (CST)

The current version is quite well. Shadow Shinji (talk) 12:03, 3 November 2014 (CST)
In another vein, what should we do in the case of Pawn Chessmon? Although it refers to the Pawn Chessmon white of the anime, The card depicts the two subespecies of Pawn Chessmon, should we do a unique template for the two or two different templates with the same card? Shadow Shinji (talk) 22:38, 10 November 2014 (CST)

Two separate templates for the same card. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 22:41, 10 November 2014 (CST)

Ok, all the templates are done. Now what remains is to upload the backs of the cards and include the profile if available. Do you have them? Shadow Shinji (talk) 05:43, 11 November 2014 (CST)

Digital Lifeforms[edit]

Should some of the Digital Lifeforms such as the ZERO ARMS, Behemoth, Eater, etc. be included in the normal List of Digimon? Some of them like the Guardians of Digimon World 2 or NEO are already included. Thanks. Shadow Shinji (talk) 10:37, 12 November 2014 (CST)

If they are explicitly treated in a similar manner to Digimon, i.e. Level, Type, Attribute, etc then yes, otherwise they should be on a separate page like "List of Other Digital Lifeforms". --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 11:04, 12 November 2014 (CST)

Some things[edit]

Can you see this? I contacted Devkyu to answer this after I corrected the inaccurate info she used, but got no answer so far.

Also, could you delete redirects left from page moves? It really annoys me that there are so many unused redirects that admins never delete, and since I'm not an admin, I can't do anything about those. If not, you could make me an admin for that. I'm an admin at Digimon Wiki, so I have experience with that.
I think there was a third thing I wanted to ask, but I can't remember what it is. I'll ask when I remember. Anime... PAWĀ!!! 15:56, 13 November 2014 (CST)

Redirects[edit]

Hello. May I know why are you deleting so many pages? Some of them are useful... Shadow Shinji (talk) 15:26, 16 November 2014 (CST)

To make navigation in the search bar less congested. A lot of them are unnecessary spelling variants, e.g. Aerovee Dramon, Aero-v-dramon, Alforce... --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 17:04, 16 November 2014 (CST)

Okay, good point, but many pages will have broken links that must be rectified afterwards. Is there any way to know which pages are affected? On the other hand, in my opinion the dub names (Ex: MetalGreymon + Cyber Rancher) and the alternate names (Ex. Belle Starrmon) shouldn't be deleted. -.- Shadow Shinji (talk) 17:41, 16 November 2014 (CST)

Which is why I have left them. Like I said, I'm mainly just doing it to pages with unnecessary combinations like Mirage Gao Gamon and Miragegao Gamon, and dub names being written intact unless expressed otherwise. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 17:49, 16 November 2014 (CST)

Triceramon X[edit]

Hello! Can you fix the Profile of this page? There are two different profiles, the same as Omegamon (X-Antibody)'s Virtual Pets Profile (Digimon Chronicle and Pendulum X), but it doesn't work on the former page. Shadow Shinji (talk) 08:26, 6 February 2015 (CST)

Fixed it, the number "1" was missing (a number also has to be used for the first tab when creating sub-tabs for it). --Grandy02 (talk) 09:27, 6 February 2015 (CST)

Romanization[edit]

Hi Ainz. Do you know if in the romanization can be used the letter "W" at the beggining of a word? I've seen several pages that use it and other that don't (they put a "U" instead). Shadow Shinji (talk) 15:32, 21 May 2015 (CDT)

Re: Romanization[edit]

Ok I get it. Thanks a lot :) Shadow Shinji (talk) 13:39, 22 May 2015 (CDT)

Dub Names[edit]

Hello Ainz! I have a couple of questions about the dub names:
1. What about not putting references in the pages that only have one dub name? Just wondering. Ex: Omegamon has been named Omnimon in each dubbed material where it has appeared.
2. In the case of the dub names that are used at least in two chapters or more in the anime (and the name of the anime coincides in the original and the dub such as Digimon Frontier) for example Kazemon, what should be put in the reference?
a) Digimon Frontier: Kazemon Kicks It (the title of the episode where the name is used for the first time)
b) Digimon Frontier (Dub)
c) Digimon Frontier
d) The title of the episode where is credited for the first time in the case that doesn't coincide with the first appearance
Thanks in advance :) Shadow Shinji (talk) 14:22, 27 May 2015 (CDT)

From Chimera-gui[edit]

I checked out the Digimon Masters gallery on Wikimon and noticed two things:

CannonBeemon is misspelled as CanonBeemon which, while funny, causes the link to not work thus it needs to be fixed. A good number of Digimon have been added including numerous Hybrids.

Jdogno[edit]

Is going to keep putting his version of the page back with "what's the problem with this?", no matter how frequently or clearly you explain the reason why his edits are incorrect. I don't know if he's doing it maliciously, or simply can't comprehend not doing things his way, but there's no point in discussion with him.

Just a friendly heads up, he pulled (pulls) the same shit on Digimon Wiki, continuously creating sockpuppets which Wikia refused to help us block, even to the point where we were offering to help him set up his own personal Digimon wiki elsewhere. Digimon introduced in 2016 category[edit]

I'm confused by how the category system is working. Digimon that have debuted this year are split into two categories for some reason: "Digimon introduced in 2016" and "Introduced in 2016," the former of which is also a subcategory of the latter. I can't figure out what decides which pages get sorted into which category, or why the latter category even exists.

Can you explain/figure this out? CloneWarrior (talk) 15:47, 27 July 2016 (CDT)

Because there are digital lifeforms (e.g. ZERO ARMS: Grani, D-Reaper agents, etc), which clearly aren't Digimon, that currently fall in the "Digimon introduced in ####" categories. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 17:15, 27 July 2016 (CDT)

Digital Lifeforms[edit]

I've noticed that in the pages of Appmons, there is one automatic category that indicates "Introduced in X year" instead of the usual "Digimon introduced in 2005". I've though that it could be a good idea to use the same template too with the Digital Lifeforms since they are not Digimon by definition and it would be more accurate. The same with "List of Digimon" and "List of Digital Lifeforms" just behind the informaton box. What do you think? --Shadow Shinji (talk) 19:12, 13 August 2016 (CDT)

I would need to add another parameter though which should be pretty straightforward. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 01:53, 16 August 2016 (CDT)
Thank you. Also then again it's necessary to remove the other category (i.e., "Category:Digimon introduced in 2005" in the case of Mecha Rogue) and I think it would be interesting to change the "List of Digimon" template just below the infobow for "List of Digital Lifeforms". I'm planning to create one separate list for them anyway. --Shadow Shinji (talk) 10:37, 16 August 2016 (CDT)

Unreleased Appmon[edit]

Hey, where are you getting info on these new Appmon? I mean, Vjumpmon and the others from yesterday. Anime... PAWĀ!!! 14:17, November 18, 2016 (UTC)

I got an Appli Drive earlier this week and used the "coin trick" to appliarise Appmon without using their chips. I've mainly been doing it to try and get the power levels for each Appmon and just happened to have stumbled upon Gugumon, Vjumpmon, Supermon and Speciamon (I'm surprised that the latter 3 haven't been mentioned on Twitter, 2ch or other sites yet considering that it's coming up to two months since the Appli Drive's been released). --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 10:10, 18 November 2016 (CST)
Out of curiosity, how does the coin trick work? I've seen about three videos with it, and I'm under the impression it relies on sheer luck to get the desired Appmon. Is there a secret to it? Anime... PAWĀ!!! 16:05, 25 June 2017 (CDT)
As far as I know, if you put something in the square thingy of the Applidrive (like a piece of paper or a coin) it'll Appliarise a random appmon like a God Grade or one of those Appmon. Still I wonder if there's some kind of modifer or something. As a side note, if you spam the button while Appliarizing it'll get you a burst appmon as shown here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KBs7ArofODg--ClancHuranku (talk) 17:38, 25 June 2017 (CDT)
Yeah, I'm already aware of the BURST feature. I wonder why it doesn't seem to be mentioned in any of the announcements.
It would be a shame if the coin trick's result is completely random. That would mean it's very difficult to test App Fusion combinations between the 6 unreleased Appmon and some known Appmon. I'm interested in this because I'm starting to think there could already a season 2 planned and season 2 Appmon are already programmed in the original Appli Drive to allow compability with the Chips. The existence of the BURST feature, and the fact it doesn't seem to be mentioned in any official source or even referenced in the anime, is part of what makes me think that. Also, the fact that they have two V Jump crossover Appmon, and after almost an entire year there's no mention of even a promotion with it.
I also want to know if Gugumon really is one of Sakusimon's components, because Sakusimon's face kinda looks like Gatchmon, who shares its app with Gugumon, and Gatchmon and Sakusimon have similar poses in their artworks. Also, the round hole in Sakusimon's mask could allude to a magnifying glass over the eye, like what Gatchmon does. Anime... PAWĀ!!! 18:21, 25 June 2017 (CDT)
Can I use the info you got on them in the Digimon Wiki? Anime... PAWĀ!!! 08:51, 2 July 2017 (CDT)
Sure thing. I just wish that I had a smartphone at the time to take photos of the unreleased ones. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 09:14, 2 July 2017 (CDT)

About Ogudomon[edit]

I was checking this trailer and I've realized that while the speaker introduces Ogudomon, it can be clearly seen that the cards of the SGDL merge in order to give rise to the Super Demon Lord, the same as we can see with the Four Holy Beast Jogressing into Huanglongmon and Slayerdramon and Breakdramon into Examon, so why shouldn't we consider this as a canon evolution itself? I think the only reason it can't be displayed in this way in the card game is because of the their own inner rules which doesn't allow a Jogress Evolution between more than two Digimon gameplay-wise. What do you think in this regard? --Shadow Shinji (talk) 16:53, 29 November 2016 (CST)

You could add them, sourcing it to the Batle Terminal 02 trailer; the trailer is also the source for name titles like the "Ultimate Destroyer Dragon", "Guardian of the East" used for Breakramon and Qinglongmon respectively. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 18:08, 29 November 2016 (CST)
Terrific! Is there any way to get the kana for this two titles? --Shadow Shinji (talk) 18:12, 29 November 2016 (CST)
"Guardian of the East" (東方の守護者, Higashikata no Shugosha), "Ultimate Destroyer Dragon" (究極の破壊竜, Kyūkyoku no Hakairyū), "Master of "Ryūzanken"" (「竜斬剣」の使い手, "Ryūzanken" no Tsukaite) - Slayerdramon. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 18:21, 29 November 2016 (CST)
Any chance you guys know what the speaker is actually saying? Is he talking about Ogudomon the character, or Ogudomon the in-game card/enemy?KrytenKoro06 (talk) 18:03, 9 January 2017 (CST)
The Ogudomon stuff is mostly just the first few lines of its bio, with some parts truncated, and some additional stuff; here's the dialogue: "そして、七大魔王がついに集結!七つの眼、七つの脚、第八の眼をもつ異形の姿。超魔王オグドモン。デジタルワールドの全て罪を内包し、贖罪する力をもつ謎の化身体。こいつを倒すすべはあるのか!?" --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 15:11, 10 January 2017 (CST)
I guess that's pretty equivalent to how we accepted Digitamamon > Titamon from the V-Jump scans. Okay then. Is there any sort of Jogress cutscene within the actual game, or is that commercial literally the only official info that puts it in a non-gameplay perspective?KrytenKoro06 (talk) 16:14, 12 January 2017 (CST)

Proactive request[edit]

I know I can be a bit territorial with translations -- would you be willing to make a judgment call on whether I'm being reasonable or not in the stuff with Luph? Jintrix template[edit]

Hi! I'm still not really familiar with coding/wiki markup, so I wanted to ask if you happen to know any way to make all columns in a table the same width? I was looking at the Jintrix template, and was wondering if there was a way to change the stats part to be manually inputted; I was playing around with a table (User:Garmmon/Sandbox4 at the bottom), but I'm not sure if it's actually possible to create a working table like this using html/wiki markup? Thank you in advance! :> --Garmmon (talk) 12:14, 15 March 2017 (CDT)

Yep, I've changed around/removed some of the colspans so they should all be the same width and also incorporated it into the Jintrix template. I've also created a variant where the width of each varies depending on the values. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 14:17, 15 March 2017 (CDT)
That's great, thanks a lot for the help! :> I'll have to look into how it works when I have time. --Garmmon (talk) 10:33, 17 March 2017 (CDT)

Purple coloring for admins[edit]

How do you do it? User:ShiningCelebi and User:TMS need it. Thanks--Koroku (talk) 15:12, 16 March 2017 (CDT)

I've added them (at the bottom of MediaWiki:Common.css), but I'm not sure why they're not showing up as purple. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 15:42, 16 March 2017 (CDT)

Several issues[edit]

I've noticing a lot of different issues lately in the page. One especially that caught my eye, is that "Lowëmon" page is missing. Is there any way to put it back to normal? --Shadow Shinji (talk) 21:58, 16 March 2017 (CDT)

I've added a topic on the Community Portal for general sever migration issues. Not sure how to put them to nornal, apart from extracting stuff from the Wayback Machine. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 03:14, 17 March 2017 (CDT)
Okay thank you. Just to let you know, I've also noticed that it is impossible to put any external link into a page, cause when you are done editing, the captcha is missing so this doesn't let you to save the changes. --Shadow Shinji (talk) 15:59, 20 March 2017 (CDT)

Appmon Types[edit]

I was trying to modify this Template (https://wikimon.net/Template:S2) in order to show the 7 types that Flickmon, Swipemon and Tapmon may have, but I'm not really sure how to do it...could you bring me some help please? --Shadow Shinji (talk) 12:11, 14 April 2017 (CDT)

Card Terminal Cards?[edit]

Hey, I noticed that you deleted some of the cards that AjibanaRen uploaded from wtw, but there appear to be a few left that have not been deleted yet. I do not appear to have permission to delete pages, otherwise I would have done so myself. Just letting you know in case you were not aware. --Coatlmon (talk) 00:11, 21 April 2017 (EST)

Appli monsters (3DS) and Card Arena page merge[edit]

I'd like to start covering this game but I noticed that since Cyber Arena and the full game have separate pages we'd have to deal with a lot of redundancies. Also I've noticed that a lot of people are confused by the game (in the game nav template it was even mixed up with the full game before I adjusted that). Some thought Cyber Arena is the actual game, since it's also compatible with App chips and could generate money that way regardless of being free to play or don't know that it's just a over glorified demo for the actual game and as a result of that didn't know that the full game even existed.

Also it doesn't make sense to do a separate page for a demo since it's gonna be very empty as there isn't a lot to say about a demo. It's not a Re:Digitize / Decode or situation where we talk about two separate products. The Wikia made a section for the Demo in the full game article and I'd suggest doing that as well. The Digimon Universe Appli Monsters: Cyber Arena link would redirect to the full game page and directly to the Cyber Arena section. I'd also go into full detail of the differences between the Demo and the full game once I get my hands on it in around a month.

Normally I'd just do it but I thought a huge edit like this would require a admins permission. --XrosBlade (talk) 09:08, 20 May 2017 (CDT)

Yeah, definitely go ahead with the merge. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 09:17, 20 May 2017 (CDT)

Fight!! Digital Monsters[edit]

Hello Ainz, I'm trying to put "Fight!! Digital Monsters" in the |mangaseries= entry, but for somea reason, since I'm putting two exclamation points, the template goes crazy for some reason. Is there any way to fix this issue? --Shadow Shinji (talk) 04:42, 12 July 2017 (CDT)

Question[edit]

Is there a reason you left [[Category:List of {{PAGENAME}} Cards]] in the S2 template? Chimera-gui (talk) 21:59, 18 July 2017 (CDT)

It's just temporary so I can systematically add the categories for the Appmon. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 01:06, 19 July 2017 (CDT)

Dantemon[edit]

I was trying to input that Dantemon has not Grade or Attribute according to its official profile in the 2nd DVD-Box, but I've been having problems with the proper Templates I have to use. Is there any way to create a Template for the Appmon that don't have a Grade nor an Attribute (I think Dantemon is the first one, but maybe there may be other in the future). Thanks a lot! --Shadow Shinji (talk) 23:21, 24 July 2017 (CDT)

Furthermore, I just noticed that when you click into the "Grade" section of the box, it redirects to the Evolution Stage page. Is there any way to redirect it to the Grade section in Appmon page instead?--Charles.929 (talk) 08:03, 16 August 2017 (CDT)

Weak Point Search[edit]

Could I ask you what's the source for this attack of Gatchmon? I've checked the edit history log, and I saw that you added this attack around June 2016, that is, way before the anime premièred. Thanks for reading Ainz! --Shadow Shinji (talk) 09:39, 8 September 2017 (CDT)

In was in a promotional material for the 3ds game unveiled last June: https://www.gamer.ne.jp/news/201606090018/, but since the game's been released, that technique might have been omitted. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 11:47, 8 September 2017 (CDT)

From the initial Data Carddass Appli Monsters trailer (at the 2 second mark), but it's been omitted from the final release; it's a similar thing with "Yajirushi Missile" in Navimon's case.--Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 23:17, 24 September 2017 (CDT)

Prototype Digimon[edit]

Merge Whamon Pages[edit]

As mentioned here, Whamon is not divided into multiple species based on level like Burgamon is so there's little point to having two page for what is technically a single that has individuals at two levels. New Digimon Reference Book URL issues[edit]

While trying to do two edits, I've noticed some problems with the new URL of the Digimon Reference Book pages:

  • Tia Ludomon: The link that redirect to the DRB page at the bottom of the page, redirects you to wrong page for some reason; also even the naming is incorrect: ludomon Tia Ludomon's Profile (Digimon Reference Book)?? What could be the issue here? Same exact problem with Raiji Ludomon.
  • Meicrackmon: I was trying to add the url of the DRB page for Meicrackmon VM in order to source an evolution, but it doesn't seem to work...could you give a look to this problems please? --Shadow Shinji (talk) 20:35, 24 March 2018 (CDT)

List of Digimon[edit]

Hello! I was thinking about something that I would like to comment you on, I'm planning to update the List of Digimon & Visual List of Digimon pages and I just realized that both are quite incomplete. Considering that they are one of the most visited pages on the site and are often used as a reference, I would like to suggest that a direct link to the List of Digimon/Appmon & Visual List of Digimon/Appmon banner should appear somewhere within the main page of Wikimon (something similar to the news section). In this way, it would be more accessible for users who are not familiar with Wikimon, and it would be easier to keep it updated regularly. What's your opinion about it? Thanks for reading me. Oh by the way, I'm also considering to open a new section within the same banner with the List of Digital Lifeforms/Visual List of Digital Lifeforms motif.--Shadow Shinji (talk) 12:43, 6 November 2018 (CST)

An additional link could possibly be put under the main Digimon tab, but new digimon that are added are already on the news feed. ALSO, there is this thing called a Community Portal. It's right on the sidebar. Do NOT spam every mod's userpage for something like this again.--devkyu (talk) 19:27, 10 November 2018 (CST)
I think it would be a great idea, because this pages compiles both the new additions as well as the rest of the Digimon in a very comprehensive and accessible list. What does the rest of you guys think? Sorry I thought it would be more direct that way, but I won't do it again. Thanks for the understanding.
Just a thought, what about including it somewhere into the "Wikimon Navigation" section? --Shadow Shinji (talk) 08:23, 13 November 2018 (CST)

Headline[edit]

Would it be possible for you guys to rephrase the line about the "where we don't pull information out of our asses" to make it clear that it's talking about unsourced fansites and forums, not the Wikia sister site? MultiDesc Issue[edit]

Would you please take a look at Angewomon's page? I just edited her attacks, and my first use of the MultiDesc template works as it should. However, the other places I've used the template display both attack descriptions regardless of what tab you're looking at. Is there a way to fix this? The problem might be popping up because this is the first time I've used MultiDesc multiple times on the same page. --TMS (talk) 16:04, 24 October 2019 (EST)

I've added another parameter to MultiDesc - "n" so that whenever it's used multiple times on the same page, it gives each tab a unique div id to avoid conflicts. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 16:51, 24 October 2019 (CDT)

Duftmon[edit]

I saw you removed that section. Was curious why.KrytenKoro06 (talk) 10:56, 5 December 2019 (CST)

It was causing a bit of controversy; I suppose the only to get a concrete answer would be to ask the person who designed Duftmon, Soh Moriyama (not sure how to go about doing it). --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 02:30, 6 December 2019 (CST)
I mean that section could make sense design and lore-wise even if we don't have a confirmation per se. Isn't just okay if we leave it, making clear it's just a plausible assumption? Most of the etymologies and inspirations behind here are just that and we normally accept them as provisional facts. I guess we could also ask Soh Moriyama if Duftmon has a nazi motif, he's really open when answering questions from fans on social media. --Shadow Shinji (talk) 04:43, 6 December 2019 (CST)
Moriyama just confirmed that it doesn't have a Nazi motif, and some other interesting stuff. Apparently, it was initially going to be a (beautiful) woman disguised as a man similar to Lady Oscar from The Rose of Versailles (https://twitter.com/alnico6221/status/1203009050113265664) --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 13:00, 6 December 2019 (CST)
Weird that it was causing controversy (I mean, Agumon Fuhrer still exists, and Full Metal Alchemist broaches the topic too), but fucking huh. Guess I was wrong. Still seems like a hell of a coincidence.KrytenKoro06 (talk) 10:51, 8 December 2019 (CST)
People don't like Nazis is the brunt of it. They don't want nazis in Digimon I guess. I do think the "evidence" shows that it was still part of the design, but admitting as such would probably cause the Digimon to be censored in the west. The german name+german attack name still shows the "european soldiers" it's based on are probably german, though. I think it's like Jesmon, in which it probably partly still is.Muur (talk) 19:52, 8 December 2019 (CST)
The German name origin and techniques are purely Bandai's decision. Moriyama himself acknowledges this at the end of his reply, saying "I don't know the reason they (Bandai) stuck with the German name 'duft'". --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 22:23, 8 December 2019 (CST)
I do apologize for any grief my suggestions have given you, even though most of it is coming from people who dishonest claim that Bandai would never make a genocide-advocating zealot a WW2 reference.KrytenKoro06 (talk) 13:52, 9 December 2019 (CST)

Alphamon Ouryuken's artwork[edit]

Hi... I didn't really know who to ask about this, but I was looking at the images of Alphamon Ouryuken that the website has and I can't really find a source for this particular image... it says it's from Crusaders but none of the cards from the game use it, nor is it visible on the main page for the game, and more importantly (and the reason it really made me question the verasity of the image) I kind of remember seeing this image as a fanart made by a Korean/Japanese artist a few years ago... so... do you know anything about it?--Convergencia Digital (talk) 21:54, 8 December 2019 (CST)

I don't know anything about it; I've haven't seen this image until now despite it being up for 2+ years. User:Shika408 might be a better person to ask since he uploaded the image. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 22:19, 8 December 2019 (CST)
Alphamon crusader 2.jpg
It doesn't seem to be fan art, I threw it into a reverse image search and the only fan art site it showed up on was just someone posting it as a pic in August of this year alongside a bunch of other official arts(so I guess they got it from here) and I also used some apps that find who made arts (so the earliest instance of it existing online) and it doesn't come up with anything. So based on this, I would say it's official art. if it's not used in the game itself, then it would've been a promotional image at the time of release I suppose.Muur (talk) 00:36, 9 December 2019 (CST)
Thanks for clarifying :)--Convergencia Digital (talk) 23:48, 19 December 2019 (CST)

Moriyama Soh's designs[edit]

I saw that you updated the list of designs made by Moriyama, but how did you know he made all of those digimon? Do you have a source?--Convergencia Digital (talk) 23:47, 19 December 2019 (CST)

The Digimon he retweets on his Twitter feed, especially from the Bandai feed, are Digimon he has designed (inc. art work on card scans and fan art of Digimon he's designed). I could ask him to verify this so that things are consolidated. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 04:00, 20 December 2019 (CST)

Battle Spirits Cards[edit]

I've been thinking that it would be more convenient for browsing purposes to have Wikimon pages for the Battle Spirits Digimon cards, rather than linking to the cards' pages on the Battle Spirits wikia. Would you have any interest in being the one to create a template for those cards' pages? --TMS (talk) 01:54, 28 January 2020 (EST)

Sorry for intruding, but I wanted to just link to the BS wikia for BS cards because they're all translated there already by people who have better knowledge of how the game works, plus I feel like as a TCG player you'd want to browse other BS cards/categories to see what works well with that card, which are more accessible on the BS wikia itself. So if you play the game all the info you need is on the BS wikia, but if you don't and just want to browse the images are already uploaded here. Any particular reason that the current format doesn't work out for you? --Garmmon (talk) 00:29, 29 January 2020 (CST)
The big reason is just for ease of browsing. As someone who's more interested in Digimon than Battle Spirits, if I'm doing research on the former it's a minor annoyance to have to switch between the two wikis. I think it would also be nice to have translations of the cards that are completely accurate rather than beholden to the localized versions of either franchise. --TMS (talk) 01:57, 29 January 2020 (EST)
Now that you mention it, though, there are some advantages to the current system. I wonder if we could find a way to provide both pages on Wikimon and links to the Battle Spirits wikia? --TMS (talk) 02:09, 29 January 2020 (EST)
I kinda agree with Garmmon in here. Anyways does anyone know how evolution works in these cards? It has been added recently a lot of evolution quotes regarding Battle Spirits series, I'm not sure if that meets Digimon's evolution standards for Wikimon. I would appreciate a lot if anyone could provide some kind of explanation. --Shadow Shinji (talk) 08:25, 29 January 2020 (CST)
The Battle Spirits evolutions have been added with my blessing. Muur went ahead with it, since I was going to hold off myself until I'd had this discussion. Generally how evolution works in the game is a Child or Adult Digimon has an Evolution or Super Evolution effect that allows them to evolve to a Digimon of the next level (restricted to certain colors or costs). We've been sticking to card effects that are specifically called evolution, though a number of Ultimate Digimon have effects that allow them to be summoned atop Perfect-level Digimon. --TMS (talk) 13:17, 29 January 2020 (EST)
What TMS said. If it wasn't me putting them, it would've been him putting them (actually he intended to put some himself and still might, but like he said he wants to see if he can make his own template). Basically TMS put the list together of who evolves to who. I talked to the admins on the BS wiki to learn how the game works and we were able to compile a list of who evolves to who with their help. I got Meicoomon, Zubamon, Sukamon, and Numemon out of the way first as theyre the ones with the most evolutions (Sukamon and Numemon as theyre failure evos just like in the games, so all rookies can become them), whilst Zubamon and Meicoomon were promo cards, so have a lot more evos than the other cards as they were made to be able to jump into any digimon deck. the rest of the digimon dont have many evolutions each, such as agumon only being able to become fire monsters, who he already has in his evo list anyway. so from now, the digimon wont be gaing that many evolutions as the rest of the cards are pretty limited in who they can turn into. As for the matter at hand, I agree with Garm.Muur (talk) 12:38, 29 January 2020 (CST)
I see. It seems you guys handle it right! Thanks for the explanation. --Shadow Shinji (talk) 06:15, 30 January 2020 (CST)

mitamamon rearise profile[edit]

Demon's profile[edit]

Looking at Demon's profile from ReArise it looks like there might be a slight error on the page. Here it says that Demon was the strongest Ultimate and that it lead the rebelion against God, but in ReArise it says that it was the "super ultimate digimon" that was the stronges Ultimate and lead the rebelion instead. Shouldn't we check if the translation we have here is correct?--Convergencia Digital (talk) 22:00, 11 September 2020 (CDT)

Demon ReArise profile.png
I fixed it, thanks for pointing that out!KrytenKoro06 (talk) 22:31, 11 September 2020 (CDT)
No problem! Although I see that you linked the "Super Ultimate Digimon" part to Lucemon FM page. It was already confirmed that that Digimon is supposed to be Arkadimon--Convergencia Digital (talk) 22:38, 11 September 2020 (CDT)
Arkadi.png
How was that confirmed? Lucemon Falldown Mode's profile states that it is a Digimon stronger than the other Ultimates in the rebellion, and that it led the army. That directly mirrors the language in Demon's profile.KrytenKoro06 (talk) 23:12, 11 September 2020 (CDT)
Lucemon FM's profile says that it instigated the rebelion, not that it leaded it. The image I just uploaded here explicitly says that Arkadimon is probably the digimon that Demon is trying to resurrect, and is the closest we've had to a confirmation on the matter. If anything, Bandai is trying to implying a connection between these two just like they had in V-Tamer--Convergencia Digital (talk) 23:48, 11 September 2020 (CDT)
In my own opinion, it's ambiguous what the profile is referring to. It could be referring to different things depending on the context. If the book's profile only speculates that Arkadimon is the Digimon Demon wanted to revive, it could very well be inaccurate, like the profile that suggested that BelialVamdemon might be one of the Seven Great Demon Lords. --TMS (talk) 00:52, 12 September 2020 (EST)
Cconsidering that this piece of information was never refuted by later products (unlike what happened with belialvamdemon) I don't think we should just overlook it. --Convergencia Digital (talk) 23:59, 11 September 2020 (CDT)
Even if it did state that in an old profile, the current profile doesn't say that which means they went out of their way to remove/retcon it.Muur (talk) 00:03, 12 September 2020 (CDT)
It wasn't stated in a profile tho, it was shown in one of the visual dictionaries that were often used to answer many of the mysteries left behind by the profiles, such as the relashionship betweed etemon, monzaemon, warumonzaemon, etc. or here with Demon's profile.--Convergencia Digital (talk) 00:11, 12 September 2020 (CDT)
W.png
So this wasn't information that once was on a profile and was later removed, it was additional information given by bandai in order to clarify the mysteries left by the profiles. Information that was never refuted nor retconned.--Convergencia Digital (talk) 00:17, 12 September 2020 (CDT)
Lucemon FM's profile states it's the strongest among the Seven Great Demon Lords, not among all the other Ultimates in the rebellion, so I agree with Convergencia. The Visual Dictionary profile is an obvious reference to V-Tamer with it even being brought up in Chronicle X. In my opinion, it's more than enough to confirm Arkadimon SU as being that Digimon (at least for the time being). In regards to the speculative language utilized, a lot of profiles and general info is written in that style, since it's supposed to be taken as an ongoing fictional research. ShikaSS (talk) 07:29, 12 September 2020 (CDT)
I mean... even Digimon Jintrix is pretty straight forward about this whole thing "An artificial Digimon created by Demon using the data of various Digimon as a base, to help achieve Demon's goal of creating a Super Ultimate level."--Convergencia Digital (talk) 16:48, 12 September 2020 (CDT)
Creating =/= RevivingMuur (talk) 17:26, 12 September 2020 (CDT)

And are we just going to ignore everything else that has been said? Because that's only one of the many product that emphasize about the connection between "the super ultimate digimon" and arkadimon. We have V-Tamer, Digimon Jintrix and more importantly, the Visual Dictionary which explicitly correlates those two--Convergencia Digital (talk) 17:38, 12 September 2020 (CDT)

It was retconned, though, by Lucemon's profile. That's why Digimon Savers Another Mission shows the exact scenario of Demon reviving Lucemon. Jintrix is also not saying what you're claiming -- it's saying that Arkadimon was created to help achieve that goal, not as the goal itself. V-Tamer, coming out before Lucemon was created, is one of the mangaka imagining what the revival in Demon's profile would look like -- and in that case, it was referring to Demon SU as the end-goal, not Arkadimon. Other than the Visual Dictionary (which, (1) didn't that come out at about the same time that Rumble Arena was pondering whether BelialVamdemon was one of the SGDL? it's using the "is thought to be" language that RA did, and (2) still doesn't claim that Arkadimon led the demon army, which is a critical attribute of the SU mentioned in Demon's profile), the sources have all been consistent that Arkadimon is a stepping stone, not the endgoal itself.KrytenKoro06 (talk) 08:33, 22 September 2020 (CDT)

Digimon Pendulum Z (I and II) Digivolution line[edit]

Hello, so I am new to the site and had a question about something.

With Pendulum Z coming in and the info we have with the Folder Report Continent from Digimon.net, I wanted to know why the new digimons didn't have an indication of the previous and next evolution.

No because if I base myself on what I see on the site, we clearly have evolutionary lines which are indicated (especially with the examples of the Monodramon line in Metal Empire, that of Falcomon in Wing Gardians, Algomon and Labramon in Nightmare Soldiers, Gaomon in Nature Spirits) so I wanted to know why we do not indicate the evolutions of the new digimons (do you have to wait for the official release of V-Pets to indicate this?)

I don't know how it went with the previous V-Pets so that's why I'm asking the question (and also because I refrain from modifying the pages of the new digimon for which we have the Folder Report)

Nothing in those reports states about Digimon evolving into each other.Muur (talk) 04:51, 19 October 2020 (CDT)
What about the examples I gave? ( no because :

- Nature Spirits, line with Gaomon / Gaogamon / MatchGaogomon / MirageGaogamon which we know follows in the evolutions.

- Nightmare Soldiers, complete line Algomon and line Labramon / Dobermon / Cerberusmon / Anubismon ...

- Wing Gardians, Falcomon / Peckmon / Crowmon / Ravmon line

- Metal Empire, Monodramon / Strikedramon / Cyberdramon / Justimon Line)

And without counting some which we know are the evolution or the previous form of a digimon (like Tinkermon and Petermon) and I base myself on what Wikimon indicates for these digimons.

Those aren't the pendulum reports. Anyway just cuz theyre next to each other in that chart doesnt mean they'll evolve into each other. What if one gets listed that ends up not being true?Muur (talk) 05:26, 19 October 2020 (CDT)

WereGarurumon Alteros Mode with preview épisode 22[edit]

With the preview (long version) of Digimon Adventure: Episode 22, couldn't we just create a "WereGarurumon: Alteros Mode" page as a precaution since WereGarurumon seems to get blades in the back ....

After this is just MetalGreymon and WereGarurumon which will have these "Alteros" forms or all the digimons of the group will have it ... Well for the moment we are sure that MetalGreymon and WereGarurumon have it.

Just wait until the episode airs next week. --Ainz ( talk | contribs ) 08:10, 25 October 2020 (CDT)
Alteros is the name of MetalGreymon’s new weapon, which was borrowed from MetalGreymon (Virus)’s X-Antibody form. WereGarurumon’s upgrade will presumably have a different name. —TMS

Use of Wikimon translations[edit]

Dear Ainz,

my name's Romsstar. I'm the Teamlead of the Digimon Fan Translation group Operation Decoded. We work on translating the Digimon games Digimon World Re:Digitize Decode for the 3DS and Lost Evolution for the DS.

It so happens that Decode has ingame cards and they use the reference book descriptions for them ingame. It would be a huge help for our project if you could give us permission to reuse the translations you host on Wikimon in our project.

We would credit Wikimon.net as a whole webpage of course and we also distribute our final product, the patch (just the patch) under the Creative Commons License as well.

I would appreciate a response.

Best regards,

Digivice Toy 2020 : Ennemi List Dark Whale and Tentacle Monster ? and Nefertimon ?[edit]

Hello, I was wondering about the last V-Pet's page, the "Digivice Toy" and saw two things in both lists that bothers me.

Concerning the enemies, these two code names: "Dark Whale Digimon" and "Tentacle Monster Digimon" intrigues me a lot but are we sure that they are two new digimons and not old ones ... like "Dark Whale" that does not could not just be Whamon in another pose (seeing as he's in the first list) and the "Tentacle Monster", if that's the thing we saw in episode 18 (and I'm sure it's Ghoulmon) ?

Then concerning the list of partners and allies, what bothers me is that Patamon has Pegasumon in these evolutions but that Tailmon does not have Nefertimon in his, so did the V-Pet fully reveal all the evolutions and therefore confirms that Tailmon will not have Nefertimon as an evolution or is it that the V-Pet did not deliver all its info ?

Cordially.

From what we've seen, Pegasmon is the only Armor Digimon in it. The two unnamed bosses are both called ??? by the toy. Whamon is actually available as an ally Digimon, and has a different sprite from the first ???. ----TMS (talk) 12:48, 4 October 2020 (EST)

Ah too bad .... Well as I think we can say that these digimons which are in the V-Pet will be in the series (Parrotmon had better face Greymon for the reference), they had better explain why Patamon can become Pegasumon and (hopefully) see Blitz Greymon and Cres Garurumon on the show. Also we have a big spoiler on the possible final enemy of the series because Moon Milleniumon in cameo (episode 22/23) and Milleniumon in V-Pet, if it's not Zeed Milleniumon the end boss ...

Just cuz its in the digivice doesnt meant itll be in the show tbf. the 02 digivice had every armor form and everyone could get to mega (seraphimon, magnadramon, valrkyimon, vikemon, and grankuwagamon - not just imperialdramon) and the tamers digivice had sakuyamon miko mode and one of them gave full lines to every character (so marineangemon and impmon with full lines). as for the evil whale, maybe it reverts to whamon after being defeated and becomes their friend in the show and thats why hes playable? who knows. the "code names" are just what I used to refer to them so people know what the two ??? are. once their names are known they will be switched to the digimon's actual names.Muur (talk) 22:06, 29 November 2020 (CST)

So I wanted to know, since the Vital Bracelet will be released in 2/3 days, if putting the sprites on the site was recommended (because the last time I posted the silhouette of Pulsemon's Kanzen-tai and I think it was you who had stripped the image telling me to wait for the addition of these in the Digimon Reference Book)?

that's literally what happened. check Talk:DORUmon Ainz here himself switched to Dorumon from DORUmon after I brought it up, only to be reverted by another Admin here with the reasoning being that it's an acronym so should be capitalized (as mentioned on discord). even Mcmon was changed to MCmon for the same reason here by the same admin that did Dorumon to DORUmon. you seem to be missing the part where DORUmon has no source for being capitalized either and yet we have it capitalized. do you not know what the word "consistent" means? you can't just have DORUmon and Jesmon that doesn't make sense. if you dont like JESmon, then you dont like DORUmon either. the entire basis of this is DORUmon, you keep conveniently leaving him out. all I did was finish off the work of an admin as they only did the start of it. if your intention is to get me banned here youll have to get that admin banned too for switching back to DORUmon. like seriously dude, the entire basis for all of this is that there is no source for DORUmon, just like there's no source for JESmon. just because bandai like to be inconsistent (like how the DRB has vegiemon/redvagimon, guardromon/gardromon gold, scumon/platinasukamon) doesnt mean we have to be inconsistent too. if you want change then motion for the name to be Dorumon and not DORUmon.Muur (talk) 19:32, 18 October 2021 (CDT)

Unique AppLinks[edit]

You were a part of this original conversation, so I thought I should ask you. There are certain AppLinks with unique appearances, Chou Gattai AppLinks. In a previous discussion it was decided that these Appmon are not separate species, and thus do not deserve their own pages. But, by that logic, if DoGatchmon Plus Raidramon is just DoGatchmon, then shouldn't that mean it should be listed on DoGatchmon's page? Last night I made an edit to list these 13 unique AppLinks on the pages of the Appmon that compose them. Not as evolutions, in a separate Chou Gattai AppLink section. I believe they should be listed on the relevant pages, since they cannot have pages of their own, not hidden away among random lists of cards and chips, that way the information is more readily available for users. It was brought to my attention that this edit needed authorization from someone in charge, so I undid it. (I also made an edit adding them to evolution sections, but I now see that edit was poorly thought out. I am just discussing the possibility of adding a Chou Gattai/Unique AppLink section to these pages.) Now I am bringing my suggestion to you, since you were a part of the original discussion about these unique variations. I am simply suggesting that these 13 variations be listed on the pages of their components in some way. Sorry for bothering you. (And, sorry for the wall of text. Just wanted to make sure I explained myself well.) Something like this is my idea, so you see what I mean: https://wikimon.net/index.php?title=Raidramon&type=revision&diff=429573&oldid=429525 It doesn't have to be exactly that, though, if you think it would be better another way. Actually, nevermind. I get stressed very easily, and just trying to explain my reasoning has had me sick all night. It's just how I am. I can't handle even minor debate. I am sorry for wasting your time. I am done pursuing this edit any further. I have to step away from it for my own peace of mind. I will just try to stick to simple, unambiguous edits from now on. I am sorry for bothering you. KiraraKidohara (talk) 10:03, 24 April 2022 (CDT)

-V3- Digimon[edit]

BEMemory Gammamon profiles[edit]

Source[edit]

What's the source for Logamon? As far as I can recall it was never in the anime and thus there's no official romanization like Copipemon and considering the etymology is ロガウト as in logout, it should be Logomon not Logamon. Chimera-gui (talk) 00:36, 15 February 2023 (CST)

Loading/Typing Error[edit]

Hello Ainz. I have noticed something that it has been going on for a while now. When I try to type the name of a page into my navigation bar, whenever the name contains some kind of blank spaces (as an example "https://wikimon.net/Yagami_Taichi_(Adventure)") and I left those uncovered, the blank spaces automatically turn into a "%20" symbol as you can see in the image, and the page doesn't properly load, until I correct by myself the naming and I replace the "%20" symbol for a low bar "_" instead.

Have you been noticing this error as well?

Hope you are doing well. Cheers,--Shadow Shinji (talk) 03:15, 6 March 2024 (CST)
