Puzzlemon is infected with the L-Virus and begins blocking appliances and doors with his puzzles. He is defeated and purified by Dosukomon, Mediamon, and DoGatchmon.
In February, Haru and the others chase Mienumon through the Net Ocean. Mienumon orders Shotmon to keep them occupied while she heads to Leviathan. Puzzlemon sets up targets to distract Shotmon, allowing the group to continue pursuing Mienumon.

Puzzlemon is one of Yukari's Appmon.
During the subquest "PC Data Fragmentation Case", Kazuki/Itsuki goes into a teacher's laptop's AR Dungeon to find out what's fragmenting the data he inputs. There, they found a Puzzlemon who was responsible for fragmenting the data but wasn't the one messing with the laptop. It told Kazuki/Itsuki that the one who did that was Bramon, who was deep inside the laptop. It explained that Bramon was very intelligent so Puzzlemon fragmented the data to give it puzzles to do for fun. Since Bramon usually solved said puzzles immediately, it was fine, but that day's puzzle was harder so they got noticed. Puzzlemon then suggested Kazuki/Itsuki not interfere with Bramon now as it was going crazy trying to solve the puzzle, which caused Puzzlemon to run away. It then explained how the puzzle worked and that one piece went missing, hence why Bramon couldn't solve it, causing Kazuki/Itsuki to realize they had picked up said piece earlier in the AR Dungeon, so they pledged to deliver it to Bramon.
Clearing the subquest "PC Data Fragmentation Case" gives Kazuki/Itsuki 100 Puzzlemon Fragments.
