Plutomon[edit]
A Digimon who governs the realm of the dead and strikes evil down using fear and violence. It wanders the world pursuing criminals and villains who deserve to fall into the realm of the dead, and it is said that Plutomon will appear cloaked in deep darkness the moment it detects prey.
Plutomon, who finds joy only in masticating evildoers, has mouths lined with sharp fangs all over its body; these mouths make a chattering sound in want of prey, and Plutomon is feared even by good Digimon for this oddity.
All of Plutomon's techniques conceal their savage nature of casting evildoers into the realm of the dead; one of them, "Hell's Gate", manifests a gigantic mouth from the darkness to swallow evildoers whole, disassembling them into scraps of fragmented data. Its "Haggard Cluster", in which it bares the fangs on its chest and releases from them a pitch-black darkness, absorbs all substances and vaporises everything. When Plutomon gets too engrossed in battle, it inadvertently unleashes its "Chaos Lights" at the peak of its frenzy; it chews the enemy with the mouths throughout its body, devouring data with each bite and giving it the very image of a terrifying predator.
Although it is similar to Jupitermon of the Olympos XII in that they share the same goal of punishing evil, Jupitermon does not approve of Plutomon's cruelty, and it is said that a longstanding discord persists between the two.
