Talk:Titamon

From Wikimon

I presume this thing is supposed to be called "Titamon" after the mythical titans.--B14 (talk) 06:19, 19 June 2013 (CDT)

Titamon[edit]

I think the creators of Digimon combined the original conceptualization of Bacchusmon into Ogremon's Ultimate form named Titamon to include Vestamon as a member of the Olympos XII.

...Why? What are you basing your theory on, apart from your own fanfiction? --Blaze Dragon 20:46, 22 July 2013 (UTC -3)

Titamon[edit]

No, no, I'm not trying to do that. I'm just trying to point out that Bacchusmon's redesign into Titamon seems to be based off of Dionysus'/Bacchus' dismemberment from the Twelve Olympians by the savage gluttony of the Titans in Greek/Roman mythology. You can read an article about it with the following link: http://ancienthistory.about.com/b/2009/09/14/myth-monday-dionysus-dismemberment-and-the-origin-of-humans.htm

Vestamon instead of Bacchusmon[edit]

I'm guessing that they want to make it a six male and six female equivalency for the Olympos XII group if they included Vestamon instead of Bacchusmon. Besides, we do not have any humanoid looking fire based female Digimon in the franchise even though we have Garudamon but she is mostly anthropomorphic. I think the Digimon being based on the goddess of the hearth's fire would fit perfectly in the group since the goddess was the original member of the Twelve Olympians in Greek/Roman mythology.

Actually why do you post all your theories here? I don't think anyone really reads them. If you actually want peoples' opinions on your theories you might want go to a Digimon forum to discuss them or something because nobody cares about them here. --Garmmon (talk) 09:05, 23 July 2013 (CDT)
